Another tough game for us against one of our bogey sides who gave us a thumping the last time they came when they had Assombalonga up front who banged a hatrick that day. They don't have that type of striker now to hurt us that way hopefully! but they have good players in other areas like Turner, Wordsworth and Kightly so im expecting a tight game.

I think we'll line up like this.

O'Donnell
Emmanuel, Ajayi, Ihiekwe, Mattock
Forde, Frecklington, Potter, Newell
Ball
Proctor

Think overall crowd around 8k with a 2-1 home win prediction but wouldn't be surprised with any scoreline.

First away day of the season for me.
Last week was an exceptional performance and if play like that again we'll be very hard to beat. Heard Wordsworth will be in the squad on his return from injury but I'd be amazed if he starts. Should be about 600/700 of us there

Unchanged from last week.

Oxley
Demetriou, White, Ferdinand, Hendrie
McGlashan, Leonard, Timlin, Kightly
Cox, MAF

Came on for the knackered Moore later. Rest of side had taken the foot off the pedal by then but he still carved out a couple of good efforts, one at an acute angle that was saved.

My god we look frightening going forward at times and we are gonna be a major threat in this league if we can keep that up consistently. We didn't go with the best line up last week at Fleetwood but that today was definitely our best starting X1 with Newell, Williams and Moore in the team. We still look bit dodgy at times at the back but im so confident after today that we'll be least playoffs if Warney goes with that team every week from now on.

I think last weeks line up was the one Warney thought or hoped was his best XI, until fleetwood educated him. It's nice this season to be able to make changes with equally good players off the bench and not have to pray that everyone comes through unscathed every week.

So impressed with Moore, I reckon Bally is now a bench warmer until Ipswich recall Moore in January! Best way to avoid that is to buy him now if we could.

Ball a bench warmer?

Proctor's shite. Ball should partner Moore.

Proctor is shite in the same way you called Alex Revell shite. Dunno why you have to slag off one player in order to say another one is good. Just makes you look like a knob. Proctor got assists for three goals in this match by the way. I like that kind of shite.

You're right he is. They're so similar it hurts. Proctor is actually lazier though. My Grandma's got a better goalscoring instinct than him... and she's dead.

Have to say i was disappointed when i heard we're signing Proctor because of his poor goal scoring record but i have actually being impressed with him so far with the way he links up and creating chances as well as looking a goal threat himself at times.

Made 3 assists in 1 game yesterday and scored in the cup and several pre season as well it's so i don't know why SERNWA is saying he's shite already when he's contributed so much already and prefers Ball who has done fuck all and we look less dangerous when he's on the field.

I probably agree with SERNWA posts more than most on here but your talking bollox on this occasion.

It.s a long season and players fortunes will alter during that time.
But the movement of Procter, Moore, Willams and Newell ripped Southend apart yesterday.

David Ball will play his part as the season goes on but you can't blame Warney for starting Proctor and Moore on the evidence so far.

All the team were pretty good yesterday but a bit of a mention for Potter.
Playing like he does, where he does, frees Frecks up to play higher up the pitch and that helps that high pressing game that Warne wants to play.

SERNWA your uncontrollable urge to wind people up is an embarrassment to the rest of the Millers on here.
It's a pity you resort to it because you do appear to have some contacts close to the club and post some interesting stuff on occasions.
