Given the footballing injustice we were dealt on Saturday, it's great that we have an immediate opportunity to avenge the result and put things right.

Fleetwood strike me as the sort of team who are more than capable of pulling off a result against anyone, but then I think most teams are capable of that on their day. We both have a similar number of points so the game looks finely poised on paper.

Hopefully we can get back to winning ways, but we'll need to start being more clinical in front of goal and stop making such poor individual mistakes at the back.

How do we see this going?

We've seen over the past 2 and a quarter seasons that we are extremely good at bouncing back from a defeat. Hopefully that will continue.
Fleetwood seem to have had a stop-start season so far, so hopefully we get to see the bad side of them and get back to winning ways.
2-1 Rovers

I think you lads have done pretty well following your promotion last season. We had a good result at the weekend and tbh a draw tomorrow will be a creditable result 1-1

We are probably like most teams in the division, a really good performance and your drinking to the playoffs then its an absolute horror show and your looking how many points off relegation.

Away from home midweek I take a draw and quickly on the bus home.

Just whatever you do don't win otherwise you will have to spend the next few days avoiding the 'bitter bus' as Rovers fans are not exactly magnanimous in defeat.

Lets be honest. It was daylight robbery and you know it. 24 Attempts on goal to 10, 3 times as many on target (9/3) and 3 times as many corners (9/3). You never looked like scoring and if it wasn't for a horrendous blunder by Roos we'd have won comfortably. Once you equalised you were wasting time at every opportunity to try and hold on to a point.

However, nobody will remember or care about that at the end of the season. It's all about the points and somehow Posh walked away with all 3. I will give them credit for some great last ditch defending but even your own fans admitted you played poorly on the day and deserved nothing from the game.

Anyway, that's in the past now and we move on to Fleetwood who are in very good form having won 3 or their last 4 games. Their only defeat a 2-1 reverse at Millwall. A win for either side would see them move up to 5th in the table.

I just hope the players can take the positives from the Peterborough game and not be too down about the result. Providing we can produce a similar display tonight and cut out the silly errors at the back we have a chance of taking all 3 points. However, Fleetwood are a very good side and it will be far from easy. Any team is capable of beating any other in L1 which makes things very difficult to predict.

I'd like a win but think we'll draw, just hoping Roos has a solid game otherwise it makes the next couple of months difficult for him you'd have thought! Rate him, shame about the last two errors

should be a decent game tonight, fleetwood have scored in all 15 games this season so i'm going for a 2-1 win for the gas in front of a better than normal mid week crowd (due to a ticket offer).

The disappointing thing is the majority of Gasheads don't go to many away games, which has meant they haven't seen the superb performances Roos has had over the last month or two. At Bradford and Oldham, for example, he was very good and there was a couple of other games where he made great saves to preserve our lead. Unfortunately he does have a howler in his locker and it's just a shame two have them have happened in a short space of time.

I think he's a good goalkeeper and if the fans stick with him he'll go on to prove he's worth the number 1 shirt.

I sort of agree with you because a lot of the time he looks very good but that said, we can't afford to have a keeper that gifts the opposition a goal every other game. I know that's harsh because I'm only talking about 2 of the last 3 games but he was at fault for a goal early in his loan spell as well.

The thing is these aren't just shots that he should have done better with, they're absolute clangers. Any goalkeeper in the land would expect to comfortably catch the shot at MK and the cross against Posh. It's got to the stage that I hold my breath every time the ball goes into our 6 yard box and I can't believe our defenders have much faith in him either.

Don't think we've got much choice but to stick with him though because even if Mildenhall was considered a better option - and I'm not saying he is - he's injured and I don't really rate Puddy that highly either.

Yeah absolutely, hopefully he bounces back tonight and shuts a few up. He certainly saved us a point at Bradford.

Definitely not the finished article but nowhere near as bad as people make out, he's only 23 (?) as well so plenty of room for consistency and improvement.

It's hard not to when winning has become a habit over the last few seasons.

The posh didn't challenge us on the weekend but still came away with a win. Fair play to them. Fingers crossed we get a challenge tonight.

This Ashley Hunter any good?

Seen his name on the scoresheet quite a few times now, picked up from Ilkeston?

Good win that, poor start with another error (though Clarke-Salter looked solid) but I think we were worth the win.

Not as strong a performance as Saturday and yet we won. Guess that's football for you!

I was pleased to see us play 4-4-2 with wingers because both Monty and Moore deserved an opportunity to start a game. They played well in terms of their attacking and defensive play and justified their inclusions, even if it did mean Colkett had to drop to the bench. The little roll Monty did to create some space for himself to score the winner was sublime.

We can't seem to stop the knack we have for making a mistake and conceding a goal every game, but the way we respond every single time it happens is unbelievable. The team spirit and never-say-die attitude is a joy to see. I bloody love this group of players and management.

In the play-off places after a third of the season - I'll take that!

I hope we don't put up a challenge against a few more teams this season.

Hunters improving, still very young but fast and eye for a goal. His main target now is to start games and bring his best as hes mainly done well from the bench, though he did score in this game early on.

Shame it wasnt a 5 min match at Bristol, seems we where under pressure after a good start and caved in, we often do, not a side that can contain and hold a lead Fleetwood.

Without being total anorak and googling the stats i would love to know how many times The Gas have come behind from a losing position to win.
Did it twice in 4 days when we went there ( Swindon and Us ) and sure there are others as well as last night.
Seems a real good mentality instilled there.

They are on a win/win really...if they come from behind to win then it is because of the installation of a 'great mentality' and if it is done to them then it is merely the consequence of a 'footballing injustice'.

Another dominant performance from the boys. Couldn't match the 26 goal atempts against Posh but still managed 15 which was 3 times more than Fleetwood. Probably didn't hit the target often enough but we must have put 40+ crosses into the box and had 11 corners to Fleetwoods 3. 60% possession too which was an improvement on the weekend.

Despite conceding before I'd even sat down in my seat the lads rolled their sleeves up and controlled the match from that point on. We had Fleetwood under pressure for long spells and it was from one of those 40+ crosses that Taylor found space at the back post to head us level. After that their was only going to be one winner and I was delighted for Monty to grab the headlines because that was his best performance of the season so far.

Onwards and upwards. Hard to believe that just 2 years ago we were still finding our feet in the Conference.

Great win and so important for us to bounce back from Peterborough's shithousing on Saturday. Montano and Moore both excellent. Taylor is ridiculous and we're 5th! I'm a huge fan of all these things.

A good game in front of a 10k crowd that we controlled after going behind from the only mistake that clarke-salter made all game. Man of the match given to Montana which i thought should of gone to the beard closely followed by Lines in my eyes, both got through a tremendous amount of work.

For once we actually tried to get in behind a massive defence instead of pumping long diagonal balls for heading practice and caused them problems all night, playing like this we just need to hit the target more and we should win games more comfortably.

Stand out player for Fleetwood was the no22 hunter who scored and always looked dangerous.

Fair play to the 41 Fleetwood fans in attendance as well.

I think it's something like 9 times this season.

Being abroad I can't make it to many games, what I'm hearing on radio Bristol sounds great, but fellow gasheads, are we actually playing that good or are we getting lucky?

Im getting excited about coming to the Christmas games for sure!

I believe it's 19 points picked up this season from losing positions.

It's obvious what it stems from. It's Darrell Clarke. I've never seen a group of players with a mentality stamped on them so much. we definitely have our limitations but there won't be many who can work as hard as this lot can and because he's had a lot of time to work with the set of players we have a strong character that a few injections of quality through signings this year have really picked up on.

I'm becoming really confident at the moment. For the last two years we have got stronger in the second half of the season, DC's rotation in every game keeps the squad fresh and hungry and we actually have a big squad this year. I'm pretty positive of playoffs this season if we don't lose the manager at some point or Taylor in January.

Difference is, 99% of the time when we come from behind to win we thoroughly deserve it. You didn't.

You got the points, move on!

I thought as much...

I wonder if this division has any teams with a bigger bad loser bitter bus than you lot? I doubt it very much.
