Could be quite an entertaining game with both sides looking like scoring at 1 end but conceding at the other. We have some more forward options now in Tyler Roberts and Agyei from Burnley, hopefully we go with 1 of those and Bakayoko upfront with Oztumer just behind and wing backs giving us width - if we do, then we have a chance of coming away with something.

Still don't trust Whitney or the side in fairness, but there has been some more promising signs recently.

If we turn up, I'm hopeful of a solid away point to keep this little unbeaten run going.

If not we could get a spanking.

Started excellently but Walsall got back into it. We got lucky with a slip for the 1st goal but a lovely clinical finish from Gaffney. Walsall look a good footballing team, certainly don't deserve to be winning. 1-1 would be fair here. We look dreadful set pieces again and are defending much too deep inviting pressure

We were very lucky.

I thought it was an open and entertaining first half. Could easily have been 2-2 at the break.

However, we never got going in the second half and were on the back foot even before the sending off. Fighting spirit and a lady luck helped us to an unlikely 3 points.

Wallsall deserved a point at least but our keepers didn't actually have an great saves to make. Not sure whether that was down to good defending or poor finishing? A bit of both maybe.

Well that was certainly a game yesterday

We started excellently, looked like we could have tore Walsall apart. Then for some unknown reason decided to sit back a little and couldn't string a pass together. In that time Walsall looked good and I commented that in no way looked a 1-0 or even 1-1 game.

Then in the second half a couple of minutes changed the whole game. Walsall a deserved equaliser, then the justified red card for slocombe (although completely leadbitter's fault who has been inept this season). There only looked like there would be one winner.

However DC's tactics came good, going three at the back with wingbacks to be able to be able to leave two upfront left us both strong defensively and able to counter and we looked dangerous at other times apart from just the goal, whereas Walsall didn't create too many clear cut.
