Any word ProfessorGreen T.A? I managed to get £25 on him at 3/1, doesn't seem to be anything concrete since the report of him being granted permission to talk to Bury though.

I'm guessing they are either waiting on lowe to say yes or they are agreeing a compo fee with us? Big decision for Lowe because he couldnt wait to get back up North after MK Dons as most of his family and friends will be here. Even if he does well there I cant see him being down there for more than 2-3 years.

I think he’ll be announced soon. Possibly today.

Bury pi**ed on us second half after lowe changed things at half time, this is a really shrewd piece of business

Good move for Lowe, division down but it's a bigger club and should have a decent budget, Bury are a mess so he's done a top job there really.

If, and it is an if, we have offered Lowe a deal I would imagine it requires him to move down to the tropical south west. We had quite a lot of unhappiness among fans when Sheridan was not apparentlly living here permanently. If this is the case, then one assumes Lowe needs to talk this over with his family, and get it right for them. If I am right, and I may well not be, one would assume that Lowe has been given a date to get back to the club by. My guess is we'll hear next week.

There won’t be any compensation. Bury breached contract by failing to pay so he can leave without notice.

So why did they need permission to speak to him?

Where was this reported? Could just be standard stock media article

Local and national reporters both said it, either way it doesn’t matter as it goes into the c*** dales pockets.

We are being told this down here, there was however, a bit of delay between the story that he had met the club (last Thursday I think) and the story that we had approval to speak to him. Does this mean we spoke to him before we had approval, I don't know.

It could be anything. Lowe could terminate his contract without consequence and there be no compensation. Only alternative would be he maintained that he was an employee of Bury despite breach of contract with an compensation figure that he’d essentially be paying himself.

Would be pleased if he came. A reliable Journo on Twitter has said the ball is pretty much in his court. Lots of rumours about being big on family and it’s a long way south for him to move. Has had home sickness issues before apparently.

Personally I have my suspicions that he’s using us as leverage to the bury board to get their shit sorted or he’ll be off.

Knows the league, won promotion in it, plays good football, young and hungry - I hope your bet comes in!

Aye he didn't last very long at MK Dons. I think that's the only club he ever played for in his career that was south of Shrewsbury.

Can't see him going to Plymouth at all. But I can see him jumping ship from the Bury job if another local opportunity arose.

I know nothing, but the two most in the know posters on Pasoti have both said he will be announced today or tomorrow. One even claimed he was smuggled into the ground yesterday dressed as a builder for the new Grandstand!

Given the cluster fuck at Bury you can't blame him can you.

No you cannot, but it is a big move for him and his family in terms of relocating. Our local rag is surmising that he might bring some of his players with him, which would be logical as managers do that all the time. And saying to someone who has not been paid, do you fancy a salary is a fairly easy sell. I am really sorry for Bury fans on this, on the outside it is a bit hard to work out why Dale appears to have changed his tune within six months of taking over.

Been in the pipeline for a while, think he’ll be announced today, possibly Monday. Is he a good appointment?

We had the last Bury manager who got them promoted.

Flitcroft was a disaster for us and Mansfield.

This one knows how to change a game when things are going wrong, a very good young manager whose side play exciting attacking football.
IF he goes we will all wish him nothing but the best.

I am going to guess that there may be some legal machinations. Argo don’t like paying transfer fees let alone compensation.

You will end with him and Schumacher, he’s the real brains. Suspect 3/4 players to follow him.

Made up for Ryan Lowe that his talent has been recognised by a bigger but also fucked up club. One of my all-time favourite Chester players. Nearly single-handedly saved up from relegation to the non league abyss in 2009. Some of our fans wrongly despise him because he was one of Steven Vaughan's favourites. Great player and looking at a successful managerial career.

Lowe did a great job at Bury but I have a feeling he’s the sort of manager that’s going to struggle at his next job.

Hoping for an announcement either today or tomorrow if I am honest. If shit has hit the fan though, hopefully we have not put all of our eggs in to one basket and end up with a John Gregory type panic appointment!

It's not been confirmed Barney! When I've read posts even Plymouth fans are saying that they haven't got a manager yet pal

Well I've seen a text Ryan sent confirming it !!!!!

Not me that has sent the text but the lad isn't a bullshit merchant.
Good luck Ryan and you Janners have a gem as your new manager.
