Lost 1 nil against Woking. Didn’t go to the game so can’t comment on it. They’ve beaten us home and away and only the third time this season we’ve failed to score so well done to them. Hope the lads alright that suffered a bad head injury

Phew! I was mentally exhausted after the first half, the second was always going to be a come down.

Fair result in the end. I think we shaded the possession and midfield, but all too often the pretty play resulted in a lame final ball or cheap turnover. Wrexham always looked dangerous, except for about 10 minutes at the end of the second half where they looked absolutely knackered!

The ref gave a few cheap free kicks to us (although I thought the one for our equaliser was spot on - clear shirt pull from our angle) but equally ignored what I thought was a stone wall penalty call from us near the start.

Overall, a great game that mostly lived up to its billing. This is going to sound odd, but it was nice to hear a proper roar from the home end as an away fan - I still get weirded out by muted cheers from the less well attended clubs when they score.

Taylor was a shadow of the player he was for us I thought, but he came in around the time of Coughlin so he probably looked like Buffon in comparison.

He's definitely gained weight. What's wrong with Pilling?

Many of us are asking the same! I don't think Micky or Eric Nixon think he's ready yet.

Er, Wigan and Carlisle both played at home. As did Lancaster where a group of Sutton fans ended up. In the north only 2 games were off in league and cup all the way down to step 4 of the non-league pyramid.

Sorry, just realised why my app is showing them as postponed. But the fact that Blackpool, our closest neighbours as the crow flies, had to cancel in similar circumstances shows that it was a freak rainfall. Really not having it that anything could have been done to prevent postponement.
My mate drove down from Carlisle as it was dry at 10.30am - by 11.30am the pitch was waterlogged.

Yes, a cracking atmosphere and a great sense of occasion, which you hardly ever get at this level. Better than most of the League games I have been to at The Racecourse funnily enough.

What did he do? Must have been at a different game. Rhys Taylor had a mare for that goal and I would like to compare the pen to 2-3 challenges on Andy Cook.

Ultimately we failed to take our chances and had to settle for a draw. Probably not enough.

You set pieced us to death, that much is true. Quigley was pure quality, looked every bit as good a striker as Cook.

We'll see. Probably a better result for us given our terrible away record and fortress-like home record this season. Eddie Clarke didn't do much after coming on, not sure if he was carrying a knock as he normally just ghosts past players with raw pace.

Echo the thoughts of above re atmosphere.

I hope north wales police/wrexham fc are sued for the assault on one of our fans who was standing in a queue though!

No idea, soon as I heard the fourth had gone in I turned it off, nice to see our thick as fuck captain whinging his tits off and getting himself sent off, this lot must be the worst squad of players/management we've ever had, they're certainly the fucking thickest.

There’s no must be. THEY ARE. Simple as.

Taylor had a mare today. The first goal was a regulation save and he nearly fluffed 2 more like it second half. Seems Mellon doesn't trust Pilling because he had a shocker at Fylde, however so did 12 other Tranmere players that day. I'd be more interested in the fact he was voted best player at a European international tournament including Barca/Real players.

If you have a spare grand, lump it on an Eastleigh home win. Total home banker.

We have somehow managed to afford an overnight stay (yet again), train at a Premier League ground (yet again). Ok it was Villa but they're a Prem club in all but name. We always seem to get some training in at some of the biggest clubs and best facilities in the country. Obviously we're getting a great return in results by doing that. Wonder how much it costs to use training facilities like that?
If you're anything like us, fuck all. Most Club's are happy to help lower league sides out. We've done Fulham, Blackburn, West Ham, Villa, Bristol City, Swansea, Everton and others in the last year.

We are beyond bad.

Pains me but, #Stillout

Cracking atmosphere. Both sides have better support than several league 2 clubs. Would like to have seen us running more at Tranmere's porky defenders. Cook got his customary goal against us and tranmere looked like scoring from every set piece. That said I also thought it was the only way they would score. Although the linesman at Kop end's inability to keep up with play also matched his inability to stick his flag up for offside..so there was always the threat off a dubious offside winner.

Yep. Never thought I’d say Still out but the last 12 months has been poor and there are signs behind the scenes that all is not well.

Pretty sure we can't be sued for something that happened outside of the ground, but I'm gutted to hear about that happening. I hope the perpetrator is caught.

Poor form at the minute maybe, but you finished in the playoffs less than 12 months ago which was a great achievement and were in a playoff spot 3 games ago. Only 5 points off them now.

Calls for Still to go seem ludicrously extreme from the outside.

Yet another late goal conceded at Dover to cost us an away point. From our commentary it was an evenly contested game but we failed to convert any of the many corners or crosses and it cost us. Dover sounded very dangerous on the break with Jeffery's pace in particular. Young center back Flowers had a great debut game.

Solihull's resurgence has put us (and Orient) deep in the shit and the mix for relegation make no bones about it. With the pace of MacDonald, Kosylo and the on loan Tuton on a surface that should have suited the artificial surface i was confident (deluded) before yesterdays game. Yet in the end we looked like an evo-stik team on another fruitless away day..

A month ago we was 9 points clear of the drop zone, but Solihulls form and the fact we've not won since Boxing Day has dragged everyone back into it now.

Tuesday's game will be interesting.

Always found Wrexham one of the least welcoming clubs/sets of fans for away supporters. I mean, it’s fun to go into intimidating atmospheres like Leeds or Hull, but the needle towards away fans rarely strays into actual unpleasantness like it does at the Racecourse. Going by my trips to Swansea and Cardiff, I think it might just be a Welsh thing.

Tranmere, conversely, is always a great visit.
Surprised you felt not welcome You are welcome to meet up with myself for a pint on your next visit and have some good banter

Is it me or are a lot of the people replying massive 2CW?

Awful from us. Absolutely fucking woeful. Drury is a shadow of his former self, needs dropping. Powell needs to step up. We need another striker alongside Kedwell, and we need to stop making such stupid mistakes at the back.

Still, mid table is about what I expected. Just need to get out of this current dip in form to maintain that mid table position.

Seems the bookies are pretty confident one of the chasing sides at least will overtake Macclesfield. From 3/1 to 6/1 for the title.

Next 5 games are huge for us, I’d say we have a favourable run in, especially compared to last season. No real ground lost yesterday and for the first time in 2 years we will have a fully fit squad for next weekend.. well besides first choice keeper being injured!

We’ve had a fucker of a fixture list over the past month. Reckon Edinburgh has got us organised enough to stay up. Aldershot were clinical; most sides in this shithole aren’t.

Woking - yesterday aside - Halifax, Maidstone and Hartlepool are all in free fall and three of the bottom four are as good as gone. It’s not going to be pretty watching us limp towards the line, but it’s going to take something spectacular to relegate us, I think.

Currently we are looking like a relegation team, last two weeks we could have easily have lost 5 or 6 nil in both games. Not really played well since August and I don't see things improving. Making 3-4 changes every week won't improve things.

If you are Playing us before end of the season and don't score you must be poor, fill your boots.

We're almost a certainty for one of the bottom four slots, 1 win in 15 with 10 defeats and that's not even contemplating the potential -10 points that keeps poking it's head round the door, our manager and his squad of players are doing their utmost to send us down before that even happens.

I didn't go yesterday, but it's hard to defend Stilly currently.

Sutton away last weekend could have been 7-1, tactics are baffling, team selection is bizarre each and every week, and the state of the teams ahead of us. He was given a fair amount to spend in the summer (relatively speaking) and he's wasted it. Parachute payments stop after this year, I'd personally make a change now.

The squad is most definitely good enough to get in the top 7, but it's been under-performing for months now.

Wedge was my MOTM. He was our only midfielder today as Kelly wasn't playing surely.

Wedgbury was immense yesterday, made up for his stupidity in the away game.

£1m budget he has been given this season and has completely ballsed it up. If you had seen us play the last 4 months you would not be saying it is ludicrous. We should be comfortably top 5 with that budget instead we are getting beat comfortably by part time teams like Solihull.
