Despite the mauling at Scunny last weekend, we've had a good start to the season, winning 4, drawing 1 and losing just the one of our 6 league and cup games so far. Weirdly though, this does seem to be a game a lot of people are considering 'must win'. I'm not sure that's quite the case, although I do believe it's a case of 'Do not lose' if we want to be competitive this season.

On the injury front, Dack obviously came back on tuesday night and by all accounts did well, Wagstaff will be back in training shortly but still a couple of weeks away, and Brad Garmston is back running, but still not available for selection for a wee while. A couple of the youngsters came on and had a terrific impact at Watford (Oldaker and List), but expect them to be amongst the subs again.

I think JED might go for a very similar 11 to the last 2 games which saw vastly differing results, so who knows what the score will be!

Nelson
Oshilaja - Pask - Ehmer
Jackson Konchesky
Wright - Dack - Osadebe
JET - McDonald
Hadler, Byrne, Knott, Donnelly, Hessenthaler, List and Oldaker on the bench.

I must confess to not knowing a great deal about Shrewsbury this season apart from that they have El-Abd and half of Port Vales squad from last season. If we can get JET running at El-Abd then we'll have joy, no question. The unanswered question of course is 'Will Nelson throw another couple in his own net?'

I really hope not.

2-1 Gills.

Nelson concerns me, I think the Watford game has papered over some serious goalkeeping cracks. I agree with you on El-Abd/JET match-up though, if JET can be bothered that is.

I think it has the potential to be another lovely 7-0 to the Shrews

Bond in for his debut over Nelson.

Bond
Ehmer - Pask - Oshilaja
Osadebe - Byrne - Wright - Konchesky
Knott
JET - McDonald

Nelson, Donnelly, Hessenthaler, List, Oldaker, Dack, Dickenson on the bench.

Great to see 4 products of the youth team making the squad, along with List and Paddy who have progressed quicker than expected from the youth set up. The future is bright.

Shite defending lets the Gills back into the game. Hopefully Town's failure to put the result beyond doubt in the first half won't prove costly.

Leitch-Smith coming on. He's awful, and he'll definitely score.

Max Ehmer I love you and want to have your babies.

Shrews must be sick of our last minute winners against them!

Just sick of losing at home and bullshit, spineless performances like this.

A record number of home defeats last season and two more already this season.

Christ. You know you're shit when you let a 2 goal lead slip against Gillingham!

Nice to see Dodds on the scoresheet. We're not missing him at all but he was a good servant for the club.

Are you quite unwell sir?

I remember when you just like gave us a corner at Wembley, for nothing. Was a marvellous moment.

Anyway, good result, well played the Gills.

Are you purposely trying to wind up every opposing fan on this forum?
