This is why we should never rely on Pish. Useless.

So glad we’re already on the beach. Dreadful.

This will finish 4-0.
I don’t know your getting stuck it at times! The number 25 is walking a tight rope at the moment and this is Vale… we don’t do anything easy.

what has happened? is it on darrell or you had injuries?
We've had a few injuries but the last 2 games are squarely on Darrell. Tinkering with the formation too much - fair enough trying it against Carlisle but it was a disaster, and he's come out today with an even weirder formation which, surprisingly, hasn't worked.

Deserve relegation. Game management is awful and we’ve been cowardly again. Well
Done Burton

Christ that's got to be a massive nail for Vale to lose from that position. Amazingly means that survival is still in our own hands. Not that we're going to score another goal, let alone win 2 or 3 games.

The half of a team that has now given up the ghost. Looked nice while they were front running at 2-0 but as soon as Exeter started punching back we pussied out of it. That’ll be it now, Burton might not need another point.

How we haven’t won that in the end I’ll never know. Done that so many times this season. Can’t see Derby dropping points now

There will be plenty of twists and turns yet. Keep the faith
Not a chance. Even by our standards of direness we found a new level second half today. How can you do so well first half then turn that in second half. Did nothing that we did first half and went to pieces needlessly. Completely avoidable

I haven’t been that angry at a game in a long, long time. Wycombe were there for the taking, on the beach is an understatement. Yes the red card didn’t help us but it was a stupid challenge and I hope I never see the prick in a Salop shirt ever again. I wouldn’t give a shit if we get rid of the lot come summer, what on earth has happened to Dunkley I don’t know, Taylor Perry shouldn’t be a Football League player… I could go on and on.

Thankfully Exeter have got us out of jail massively and well gonna survive because of that result. Thanks Grecians!

Only so many times you can say what a fucking disgrace they are. Meh, bring on L2.

Will say Moore has a pass this season from me but some of his subs really do leave something to be desired.

What a comeback! Millenic Alli looks like a very good signing. 3 in 2 for him.

And that’s, I think 39 points from our last 22 games. Unreal from the players and Caldwell deserves huge credit indeed. Just shows how keeping faith with a manager can pay off.

Surprised Vale have struggled this season. It’ll probably go to the end of the season to decide the final spot, but it’s been a great day for Burton.

Seriously what an incredible second half performance. Totally changed when we went with wingers. Why Vale didn't make changes earlier is beyond me.

Moore cost us the points today. Said at half time don’t sit back, just had to do what we had been first half and we win that.

We are not capable of sitting back and then to leave us with Dipepa and Jensen Weir up front? What is that all about.

And this is why I done gamble.
What do I know?

Will take it, and seems Alli is coming into his own! Just a shame we forgot how to play football for a few months earlier on in the season, basically a season of “what ifs”

Another draw to add to the collection, of course Bonne scored. Probably should have won that one but to give them credit, Cambridge were much better in the second half. We desperately need a decent keeper for next season

Ah he must just really hate us then

I don't know if he left you under a cloud, but according to the Shrews forum he went round and clapped their fans at HT (I'd turned off iFollow by then).

No nothing like that. We wanted him to stay, he was our captain and the fans liked him but obviously he left as we went down.
Every game since against us he celebrates a goal like he's won the world cup giving it large to our fans. Weird guy. He didnt even give us a leaving message on social media

What a strange game that was.

First 20 Wigan were passing it around nicely and scored a deserved goal, albeit via a deflection.

That woke us up and we were much better for the rest of the half and rightly got back into the game. Before that, Wigan started to frustrate as much as possible by time wasting.

Half time came at the wrong time and allowed Wigan to regroup and nullify us without creating anything themselves. Then the sucker punch, after slowing the game down as much as possible to then score with about their only chance 2nd half.

We weren't great today, but still somehow managed to have 3 goals ruled offside. I felt all the subs 2nd half unsettled us and there were maybe too many changes. We had to go for the win though. Just felt it was never going to go our way today.

Got to say well done to Oxford, to put them under pressure and they go and win 3 on the bounce and scoring a shit load, fair play. Of course we could win Tuesday and be 2 behind, and hope Stevenage beat them Friday, but feel that's us done for the season.

It's been an exciting few months, and worked wonders for season ticket sales too. I'm sure we'll give it a good go next season
