What a win that was. Peterborough have plenty of talented players but we really turned the screw second half and that man Yengi again with a great finish.

We keep losing players but it doesn't seem to make any difference and Mousinho keeps the points rolling in.

Derby beating Bolton helps us out too, but not sure we need it with this group of players.

I can't think of a single thing Monk has said or done that gives me any faith he's the one that'll keep us up.

Which is a bit concerning after a fortnight, having conceded 11 in three matches. Lincoln were one of the best sides we've faced, fair play, but when a match is being dubbed a six pointer and we lose by 4 without reply....

A match that everything really - goals, sending off, missed penalty, a ref who lost control for a period in the second half and just about a sell-out home crowd.

What a first 25 minutes or so, ridiculously good stuff. Fair play to Taylor for changing it in the first half because whilst he probably wouldn't have wanted to make those changes and waited until half time, he had to do something because it would have ended up being a stupid score line if he wasn't careful. So, so many misplaced passes, hospital passes, overhit passes and dallying on the ball. The switch actually got Bristol Rovers on top for the final 15 minutes of the first half, our out ball was cut off when they went two up front and we couldn't work out how to get the passes into midfield. After missing a one-on-one at 1-0, they probably should have put one of their chances away although I can't remember if any of those were as clear cut as the one-on-one.

We should have had a fourth within a minute of the restart, but Taylor eventually completed his hattrick, the fifth arrived at the end and between those two points, I'm not convinced it was a penalty, it looked a clean tackle and Erhahon's second yellow is perhaps a little harsh but picking up silly bookings for dissent all season was always going to catch up with him eventually. Bristol Rovers were less threatening in the second half than they were during their good spell in the first.

I thought Hackett's second half strike was in but hit the inside of the post and out again and if we're being honest, it was game over after twenty minutes or so, we had no need to step back on the gas again (excuse the pun). Even with ten men we were still fine but we did lose focus a bit and it became a bit of basketball game at times.

We've scored 16 goals in 3 games! It's not sustainable obviously, but it's bloody good fun.

That was comfortably the worst we have been all season which is saying something. Fleetwood really should have capitalised and won the game but couldn't. We completely capitulate in defence from long throwings. I'm glad that game is over. A real tough watch in which literally every single thing we did was terrible. It was honestly bizarre how bad some things were
We were much the better team in the 1st half and yet again our failure to convert chances is proving costly. In the 2 nd we were well off the pace and I honestly couldn't see us scoring. We did, and then should have gone on and won the game. Slowly closing the gap on the likes of Burton and Cambridge but still a big ask.

Ground out a 1-0 win at Stevenage, Wellens totally changing our style of play, basically matching the way Stevenage go about things with not alot of passing and standing on the ball and plenty of direct balls into dangerous areas.

The goal from Max Sanders was literally the only moment of the game, there were no real chances apart from that. Stevenage put balls into the box and we managed to defend them well, neither keeper had much to do.

Stevenage had a goal disallowed for a handball in the build up which from where I was looked 50/50.

Nice bit of shithousery at the end from Wellens, pretending to raise the League Two trophy in front of the Steves fans which pissed off a few of their players and led to scuffle of sorts at the end. Wellens then sticking the boot in a bit in his post game interview saying we have nothing to play for, no fit squad and we've won here today.

I have to say the run you are on is fantastic and really wish you well to get into the play offs. It's times like this when being a footie fan and your side winning is the best feeling in the world. Long may it continue eh !

Just a weird game today. It was like playing fifa, Lincoln were on top at the start but it wasn’t like we were playing Man City. Just everytime they had a shot it somehow went in. The 2nd and 3rd were so avoidable, any competent defence would have stopped that before the shot even came in. But fair play, obviously beaten by the better side and looks like we’re ready for the beach/inevitable summer clear out.

What a twat Lincoln’s Taylor is though. Can’t stand players who gloat so much at goals, but what a distasteful prick.

If Cheltenham can get their shit together we are there for the taking. We have given up except brayford. Shambles again today. No sense of crossing the half way line. Fucking joke.
We are down if this continues. Sack him now and get someone in with some experience please.

You and Cambridge are determined to keep us in with a shout. We're 6 without a win but one thing I can't say about us is that we've given up, and we held our own against a good side today. The effort is and has always been there, but we are very much reliant on one or both of you keeping up your form for the rest of the season.

You just need to win your game in hand to put us under presssure. It’s against us…

We're home to Carlisle a week before we play you which I think will put us level on games played so I'd say that's our game in hand...couldn't ask for more. Need a win or two before we get there though

No… can’t disagree with the lines in it though. Pope’s outburst on the pod a few years back is ringing loud at the moment.

9 points in 16 home games… the worst record in our 148 year history.

The first goal as well, what was Jed doing letting that backpass go beyond him for the corner they scored from?

He was OK. Peterboroughs midfield is so quick with their one touch passings, but made some great aerial challenges and when on the ball was decent. Due to the amount of injuries we have, Paddy Lane off ill and Saydee going off injured after half an hour we had to go more direct so wasn't bypassed abit. Dug it when needed. Gonna be a very good player

Surely that result confirms it for Pompey? Been the most consistent side throughout and seem to be able to grind out results even with injuries. Although I have an issue with that knob Pompeyblueboy, I actually think Pompey are a decent club with a passionate fan base. They're certainly more engaged in their club than our lardy friends down the road.

Disappointed to only win by one goal, should’ve been three or four. Nevertheless, a win is a win and sends us on our way. Bolton can focus on the playoffs now.

Out-Stevenaged Stevenage. Competed, fouled, kicked, hacked, headed and booted everything. Didn’t dive as much as they did, though. Must do better next time. Fatty has had Wellens’ number the previous four games because Ritchie has refused to compromise his footballing philosophy. Showed some good managerial maturity in changing the style up today.

Pretty monumental effort considering how few players we have available at the moment; Moncur the only outfield player over 22 on the bench. But apart from having a goal correctly ruled out for handball and a flurry of off-target shots at the start of the 2nd half, we held the hoof merchants at arms length. Still highly unlikely we sneak in to the top 6 but the 13-day rest before we become Lincoln’s next victims at Sincil Bank should do us some good.

Almost there. 13 points mathematically seals it but that's if Bolton/Peterborough don't drop any points

Yesterday was just a great day overall. So impressed with just how well our squad copes with setbacks and to shut out Peterborough when having to make late changes shows how strong our squad is. I felt we'd nick it in the second half given we're the most clinical side in the division and it'd now take a monumental bottle job for Pompey not to get promoted.

Watched the Lincoln highlights to see Taylor’s hat trick, we could do with him at the moment with our injuries!

His second goal (and even his first!) id be furious if I was a Bristol Rovers fan, he’s 5’7 and he’s beat two defenders to winning the header!

First team to score 5 or more in 3 successive games since the 1950s, when Southend did it.
Every time we go forward you think we're going to score, crazy!

He's got the bit between his teeth, no goals in his first 5, 8 in 7 now and 20 in total for the season between us and Colchester.
