We face Cambridge away, 18th in the home form table faces 4th in the away table.

The glamour TV game on Sunday is an interesting one, if the Gas fuck this one up then they could seriously be needing to look over their shoulders given Burton's recent form, Posh have had some terrible results too so this possibly won't be one for the purist.

Mansfield can't lose to 3 of the bottom 4 in a week. With injuries galore for Shrewsbury, will be a narrow away win unless we get some reinforcements before the weekend

Stockport smashed us 3-zip in their last visit to E10, though to be fair they had something to play for whilst our players were all hungover. Massive game which I think will be extremely cagey. Two more injuries versus Exeter puts us right on the cusp of crisis in that department. Down to our last fit senior player(s) at GK, CB, DCM, RW and CF.

What do you mean 'if' we fuck it up :gr:... We have been looking over our shoulders all season. The fact we are where we are just shows how shocking the bottom end of this league is.

Feels an important game, I don’t think (hope) we can play any worse than in our last two. I’m not confident mind, we just suddenly look flat and hopeless no idea where it’s come from.

Beleaguered Parky really needs a win here.
Can't see us picking much up in the next month of fixtures. PP has to shoulder the blame on the most for last night, but then again we've been shite for weeks/months at both home and away.

I think the difference is you're in good form and actually playing well by the sounds of things. We've strung 3 wins together but performances look quite laboured.

I would probably agree it will be tight. Would be content with a point.

You want to bet?

We’ve got a decent squad on paper, just not pace or energy really - we look tired.

For however much he gets his plaudits from us given the job he’s done - cloughs had a bad week at the office.

His tactics and refusal to bring on subs until too late at cambridge was a farce, again yesterday he didn’t really make the changes that were expected and then played a formation for a time which required wingers which we don’t have.

Furthermore he’s said we don’t require any reinforcements in midfield/attack when it’s blatantly obvious we do.

I’d take a point just to put another on the board.

To a degree we’re guilty of our own early success, we don’t have the much bigger budgets of wrexham and stockport and had you said we’d be in 12th at the end of Jan and 13 points clear of the relegation zone any Mansfield fan would’ve readily gone for it.

Cloughie on the beach now he's won his cup final at Edgeley Park. Did the same last year when you won at ours in early January. Didn't regain any form until about March, which basically set us up to win the League Two title. Thanks for that, Nigel.

I’m beginning to wonder if clough needs a restraining order from you, i’ve never known someone so infatuated with another clubs manager before.

It’s not healthy, go get a job or a girlfriend.

We are having a really good season, these last two stinkers don’t change that. We do need to see a response Saturday though.

Absolutely. I'm only messing around re: Clough, AdamStag knows that.

There is a reason managers like Clough, Challinor and Parkinson are in the top 5 longest serving EFL managers at their current clubs. They all have done excellent jobs but more importantly they never let things gets out of control and when a dip inevitably comes, they stay calm, come out fighting and find something else be it a slight tweak of system or personnel.
