The team is fine, Hewitt will be rested, the only issue is for some reason and this happens every season, Clough just refuses to start Maris who’s one of the first name on the team sheet for me, he got 11 goals from central midfield last season, I don’t get it.

CUFC the better side for probably the first 20 minutes and unlucky not to score, our goal was pretty much against the run of play, looked like it was a soft one that the goalie should have done better with but perhaps he was unsighted as there were bodies in front of him.

The Loftmeister General has been quiet so far, but never say never.

Plenty of time for Cambridge to get back in it though, we've looked pretty meh for a lot of the game.

Lee Gregory is giving Shrewsbury defenders fits, got one sent off and another is on a yellow and only one challenge away from a red himself.

We were all over them in the first 15 and got an early goal, which looked offside to me unless I missed someone. After that Shrewsbury improved post fake goalkeeper injury but the only threat is coming from corners.

Very even first half at Wigan. We've hit the bar and had a few chances. Wigan scored with a breakaway. Very scrappy and not fully got going. As we've conceded first, can't see us getting back into this one.

We started off really well but have slowly regressed into our usual away form. The Parky half time F-Show will hopefully give em the kick in the plums they need to get back on track.
As a side note, Ollie Rathbone is immense of late, and gotta be on course for our POTS....

We go straight up after and it’s cleared off the line about three times, it’s all happening!

A Shrewsbury player just faked a head injury, soon as play was stopped he got up, stuff like that really does need sorting out with severe punishments, we looked dangerous on that attack.

Very strange game. As the game went on, it only really looked like Wigan would extend their lead. Don't think we tested their keeper 2nd half.

Ref seemed to lose control and gave us a pen 2 mins before the end. Haven't seen it back, but the way the ref was blowing up, you wouldn't risk it. We then miss the pen and scuff in an equaliser from the rebound.

Frustrating as hell!

Deserved a point. Having said that the Wrexham forward play is really good. The rest of the team is league two level.

Had a giggle with McClean.

Not going down the road of blaming the ref but the Wrexham forward should have had a red for the challenge on our keeper. It was awful! Keeper had the ball all day long and the forward deliberately went in to injure him. I'm old, I know about leaving one on the keeper to let him know your there. That went beyond that.

Rest of the game played in a good spirit.

Fantastic performance from Shrewsbury. Mansfield dominated the first 15 minutes. Can't comment on their goal as at the other end of the ground but the amount of time Evans had and the way everyone stopped must have been a hint of offside. Suggestion of that on our forums.

The "injury" to Blackman and the tactical switch changed the game moving Josh Feeney into midfield. First time we've had the injury time out under Ainsworth. That was until Gregory outpaced not one but both of our defenders for Nsiala to get sent off. David Rock is a poor referee but that was an easy decision for him.

Fair play to Town, came out on the front foot 2nd half. Definitely looked like Pym should have done better for Marquis goal. Gillead did well to put Lloyd in for the 2nd. Mansfield hit the post and a mad scramble straight after the goal, but didn't really create much.

We're limited in quality but Ainsworth doesn't half get them running through brick walls and putting their bodies on the line.

I think today hit the peak of my emotions. This is going to take a while to recover from. In the space of 90 seconds we score our goal of the season to earn a fully deserved point to then have it snatched from us when Wrexham hadn’t even been in our half once.
That’s 0 points against Wrexham this season when we deserved at least 4.
Not sure we will recover from that
