There’s a saying along the lines of “if you’ve nothing nice/constructive to say, say nothing at all”

So :rolleyes:o_O

Best performance under Nolan so far.

Cruised for 70 minutes, were streets ahead and deservedly 3-0 up. Huddersfield get a goal with a nicely worked move then for that last 10 it was agony, think I’ve ended up with a stomach ulcer but we held on.

Our two new midfielders make us so much better and we were fantastic for large parts of the game. Really confident moving forward now players are coming back.

Utter garbage for 2/3s of that, then nearly nicked a point. Not even solid anymore which was the only thing we had going for large parts of the season. Tom Eaves would walk into our team, zero physical presence up there which the signing of Charles has not addressed.

Stockport County.
Really good away win for us that at Leyton Orient. First half we were very good, second half we sat back which we're usually not very good at but I don't think think Leyton Orient created a proper chance all game. They can have no complaints with the result in my opinion.

Half time we are comfortable 1-0 up against bottom of the league who are also down to 10 men, so to capitulate, which is very unlike Mansfield under Clough suggests something is seriously wrong. No idea what it is mind!

We’ve now lost and deservedly so to three teams in the relegation zone with a lot less quality than ourselves. Back Clough to sort it out obviously but it’s concerning because I have no idea where it’s come from.

The first fifteen minutes was dominated Adam, lest we forget.

The only positive to come out of this is it will probably push the club to actually spend some money!

A game too far for us in the end against a side that knows how to manage and win games, we'd still be playing now and we'd still not look like scoring, we have had a few of these under Wellens and we didn't have the options off the bench to make a difference, today was a day when we missed Dan Agyei and his box of tricks when he is running at defenders.

Playing Darren Pratley 3 times in a week in the end was too much, as was the loss of Omar Beckles and Sean Clare and the fact we threw Brandon Cooper up front at the end showed how limited up top we was.

Only gripe is the free kick Stockport scored from should never be given, probably the poorest decision given against us all season as it cost us in the end. They managed the game well and with a bit more care in the first half could've had a second goal for comfort because we didn't get going until the second half.

No way we should be this many points ahead of you.

Both times we’ve played seems to be a feeling Duff should be getting a lot more out of those players?

Frustrating as hell!

Deserved a point. Having said that the Wrexham forward play is really good. The rest of the team is league two level.

Had a giggle with McClean.

Not going down the road of blaming the ref but the Wrexham forward should have had a red for the challenge on our keeper. It was awful! Keeper had the ball all day long and the forward deliberately went in to injure him. I'm old, I know about leaving one on the keeper to let him know your there. That went beyond that.

Rest of the game played in a good spirit.

Parky needs to have a word. The opening 10-15 mins were spot-on. After that, it was the same old....

Home team comes back into it, we're on the back foot for the whole game...home team gets a late equaliser!

The only difference on this occasion, we manage to nick a late............. late winner! I really like Parky - as a bloke - but his style of play is not gonna cut it at this level (and more-so...above)

Being in the auto picture was the aim set from the top so does feel that way, not a great watch this season for sure.

Entirely agreed. Wank decision for their goal but we didn’t deserve anything. We didn’t cope with Stockport’s breaks from midfield in the first half and they prevented us from winning the ball high up the pitch at any point. We’re probably the best side in the division in transition but clueless against low blocks so the second half was comfortable for them. Really, really good away performance from Stockport.

Olafe was a lucky boy to stay on the pitch, mind.

Olaofe for the tackle second half or was there something else?

If it's for the tackle, I would say yellow personally watching it on the stream. One of your defenders did a very similar one on Olaofe minutes before and was only given a yellow. Both poor tackles but yellows 8 or 9 times out of 10.

I've seen penalties given for your shout at the end, I would say it would be harsh on Touray but I have seen them given.

Two excellent performances in each half for County, the first half a strong attacking show and the second half a defensive masterclass. To do it against the division's form side, away from home, is something special, and might just be the best result of the season

Lucky not to be stretchered off at some point, sure

Your man clattered him for the foul before the goal and there was a definite orange card challenge later on.

Blatant foul for the winner too. Parky burgling a win there today. Police have been called.

McClean great chap really isn't he.

Having seen it, I don't think it was a red, nor does Smith catch the keeper in the face. It was a 50/50 and both players had every right to go for the ball. Keeper got the ball first but just a free kick was the right call.
