No new proper injuries for us, just the odd bump and bruise you get after a midweek game. Montsma will be back available after his standard midweek rest.

We'll probably make 3 or 4 changes and shuffle things around a bit, perhaps with Clucas, Jefferies, Draper and Montsma coming in.

Burton doing their latest great escape impression having picked up very well since Bowyer went in and been in solid mid-table form so it'll be a close game I suspect.
Hopefully 2-1 us, but could easily be 2-1 Burton.
Burton have won on their last three visits to Sincil Bank.
Skubala certainly likes to rotate, especially in a week with 3 games like this.

we’ve scored 1 in the last 5 home games, and won’t sunday.
I bet you that will change. I have zero faith in keeping a clean sheet on the weekend. Especially if Howard is in goal. Hes conceded 10 goals and faced a grand total of 20 shots. Absolutely shite!

Also we’ve not scored towards the Quarry Lane since October, the Quarry Lane Curse is real.

We tail off big time in second halfs, especially at home.

Away at Blackpool. Oh those heady days of summer where we deservedly beat them 2-1 at Crawley.

New signing Watson available. Fraser should make his second start, if only we had a full back who could play.

Anything from this would be most welcome.

Rovers with the standard outcome of lower league teams trying to play it out from the back. It only works if you have good central midfield players that get you to progress up the pitch. They don’t, and they look nervous doing it, giving us plenty of chances to win the ball back high up. We really need to take the chances when they come.

Sounds like we are having a complete shocker.
Niskanen, who is appearing before magistrates on Monday, got booked and gave away a free kick leading to their goal. Then gets taken off..

Bloody hell.

45 minutes of Harrisball and it's been everything we've been missing all season.

Liam Bennett crossing the ball, Loft looking an absolute handful, Gibbons has been absolutely outstanding in an enforced position switch.

County will no doubt tighten up and won't miss another gilt edged chance like that at the very end of the half...but bloody hell, I'd forgotten what this felt like. Fingers crossed we see it out.

Cagey here. We look the better side marginally and have largely been in control but only one good chance for each side.

You know County fans aren't too impressed with the football when they've got down to "Cambridge is a shithole" on the hymn sheets

Stockport victims of new manager syndrome. It is annoying when that happens to you.

I mean, I'm *sort of* grateful that Posh beat Hudds, but I'm conflicted, as it would be moderately amusing to see them go down...

Traditional football parlance is Cambridge done a job on us. We were poor but fair play, they were livelier, quicker and stopped us getting any momentum whatsoever. Bristol Rovers, Exeter et al should be a bit worried.

I absolutely detest Burton. How do they keep doing this to us at home. Every season they sneak an undeserved win.

The worst side we've had here this season, and they somehow score with their only shot on target 2 mins from the end.

Time wasting to the extreme today and ref took until 87 min to book one of them. We weren't great, and the subs made us worse, felt we were controlling the 2nd half up to 65 mins. We scored 2 that were disallowed (no idea why Clucas goal was chalked off) and seemed to be the only team asking questions.

You know when you play Burton though, they will find a way to an undeserved win. Thank god for that win midweek.

I've now got to share a train ride home with their fans...

Strange as they were hopeless against us last week..
Though I'm more worried about Burton and Shrewsbury overhauling us

I thought they were hopeless today to be honest. But we were as bad as I've seen us for ages.

Cambridge won't overhaul anybody. Honking result for us.

Nah we probably won't, it's a monumental ask.

Play like that 14 more times though and maybe not all is loft.

James Gibbon's is utterly brilliant, take his name out your mouth!

Huge win for us at Sixfields. Great character coming back from 1-0 down and I think overall we were the better side throughout. Huge turning point at 1-0 as Tzanev made a big save to keep it at 1-0 then we grabbed the equaliser shortly after.

Controlled the game for large parts really, 3 wins in 4 and a good bounce back from Wrexham last weekend.

Winning 1-0, probably undeservedly, up to the hour mark. Then the injury curse strikes yet again. I’ve been saying for weeks that we’re only one away in multiple positions; we finally broke today as we lost our 4th CB out of 5 and Bolton managed to edge past us with a crap goal and a soft pen. Two lightweight left backs and an attacking midfielder in our back four = big trouble.

you say undeserving but I don’t think you did enough to win either. A draw was a fair result.
And yes we do timewaste. Winds me up too as we can play if we want to.
We somehow have an Indian sign over you and I can’t say I didn’t enjoy that. Webster took it so well.
With Peterborough winning it was a case of having to also win.
Don’t worry. You won’t see us till next season.
Enjoy the train back singing three little birds with our fans…

Yeah agreed, we weren't great but you didn't deserve the win. Just very frustrating as you always seem to find a way against us. That's 3 1-0 wins and 1 2-1 win from the last 4 at our place. If you stay up, I'm giving this fixture a swerve next season.

What's next for Skubala? Whilst we have a 5th bottom budget, we should be able to do better than we are. Been very stop start for a while.

Very busy train, as it always is, but very quiet which I wasn't expecting.

I was told we wanted that James Collins from Derby on loan but you offered him a very tasty permanent deal. Sounded like you weren't too bad financially.

Not scored in our last 5 home games now, 3 more long term injuries announced this week and booed off at the final whistle.
Great stuff

This league.

You think you’ve seen the worst team in it (there were enough times when I thought it was us), then just over a week later another team turns up and takes the title. I’d be stunned if we come up against anything worse than Exeter though now, in 30+ years of attending football I’ve never seen a side happy to sit and to try and defend a 1-0 defeat and then do it very badly. They’ll do well to stay up on that showing.

We were good though and probably made Exeter look worse than they are.

Thought we eventually ran out of steam, managed to hang in there in the first half before scoring when on top.

Second half I thought if Bolton score and get the crowd up they’ll probably nick it, annoyed we kept getting done with balls over the top which lead to the first, penalty looked soft from where I was but a silly challenge to make in the area.

Losing Cooper at CB left us unbalanced and Bolton capitalised, amazing how all 4 of our starting CBs this season all now pick up injuries.

Another lesson for our young group, if we’re going to get to a playoff final, you’ll likely have to go to place like Bolton and manage the game a bit better.

Very happy with our performance against Birmingham today. Really went after them and were probably the better side overall, however they had the best chance which was a terrible miss from Dykes.

After the woeful performance against Shrewsbury a few weeks back, we've bounced back with two good showings and 4 points from Rotherham and Birmingham.

If we can pick up 6+ points from Wigam, Exeter and Crawley we're going to be back in the mix.

I'm just glad I chose to go last week instead of this. Sounded awful.
We have too many similar players and I don't think the manager knows which ones to play. We only have one proper centre forward and a bunch of make weights. Can't even blame injuries for that as we only have a few out and one of the biggest squads in the league.
Northampton then Shrewsbury at home. Massive games now.
