We’ve currently got 12 out of 28 unavailable. Our injuries this season is ridiculous. If we get promoted we’ll be limping over the line

Same with us. We had 13 first team players out when Saydee went off injured. Bolton have had the same. Think they have 3 forwards injured and their first choice keeper out too. When Poole got injured we got in his replacment in Jan. Breaks ankle after 50 mins. Never known a season like it

In fairness though, your back up sides are still very strong. If we have 2 or 3 injuries, we're absolutely screwed. It makes life easier if your backup is a seasoned pro rather than some kid just out of school.

Injuries have for me been a major problem since that bloody ridiculous word cup messed up all the schedules across the board even if we were not as affected down here.

Just a lot of schedule changes and if I remember a smaller pre-season in that time sortve messed it up across the board.

So due to that good old fifa want to give us another one!!

Carlisle have had a few key players out the whole season, seem to come back and instantly injured again when back training. Probably won’t have kept them up but may have helped them be at least a normal relegation battle than utterly atrocious.

Seems the side who copes with their mammoth injury list the best is going up. After half an hour sat we had 13 unavailable players but still beat Peterborough. Not sure why this season injuries have played a massive part in the top 3..Bolton without baxter, Santos and Dion Charles for a long period, Pompey no Poole, Robertson, Morrell, Ogivile for months plus a ton more. Derby been without Collins, Forsyth Joe Ward amongst others.. All top top league one players missing

Mendez-Laing sounds like he’s done for the season now too. I just feel we’ve run our race and the next three games will probably show that - I predict one to four points out the next nine. It will be too late after that.

Been a great weekend for me. No signal in deepest Norfolk so didn’t find out we lost till Sunday. Perfect.
I’ve been saying for ages we are dreadful. Our wins have masked it. He will be gone soon no doubt, but then we will be in league 2.
I wouldn’t celebrate too much though vale fans - you deserved to win, and well done by the way, but from what I’ve seen and heard you were poor yourselves and took 83 minutes to score.
Usually we have conceded by then.

The manager is a fucking idiot. Actually, manager is a loose term. He was given the job having submitted his cv to marstons brewery for a shop floor job, but his application went to the wrong de14 postcode and we gave him the gig. I mean, what could go wrong ?
Fans have given up. The players have given up. If we stay up I have to say it’s the biggest travesty of justice as we are fucking awful and apart from reading at home 20th April where I have promised to take the kids, I won’t go again.

mate we had won 3 games in 6 months and not at all in 2024. one of the worst teams in world wide professional football and the worst league one team over 12 months. we are fully are that we are absolute shit

In fairness, we played an horrific Burton team, even worse than us (which takes some doing!). We're more than capable of throwing in a stinker.

Although you guys aren't too complimentary about your team, you've clearly got something about you to have got some good results against the top teams and to be safely mid table.

Our defence is about as strong as wet toilet paper though, and we arent even beating the better sides of late (See Derby & Lincoln).
Even Burton we lost to at home, and also did the double over us

Good job we have accumulated enough points somehow. Looking forward to seeing Matt Taylor's Rovers team next season if Conteh is the sign of things to come
