Glamour game of the day for me is Cambridge v managerless Burton, big arse-end-of-the-table clash there.

We have L’Orient bringing some much needed Gallic sophistication and flair to Adams Park.

They are unlikely to be keeping a clean sheet, but then neither will we.

Being Cambridge, I am fully expecting us to follow up two really excellent performances by rolling over like a puppy for Burton, especially since they just sacked their manager…

Crawley at home. This one will have been circled for a few weeks now, not quite a must win but getting that way. One thing we did so well last year but was beating the teams below us at home so we have to make sure we do so again. It also looks like we came through unscathed from Stockport on Tuesday so hopefully no more injuries picked up.

Hopefully Roberts and Fosu are fit to start, both came close to scoring at Stockport and they look a different level to Hoskins/Pinnock so I think the onus will be on us to go at Crawley.

Not really sure what to expect from the visitors, good win for them Tuesday so they’ll also see this as a game to target for 3 points. I think we’ll squeeze past 2-1 in a nervy game.

Charlton away. Toughie as firstly, we are away so means a more reserved style of play. Saying that though, our performance in the first 20 mins of Rotherham was high pressing and pressure without the ball, then worked our way backwards defending what little probing they did.

That game and a high intensity home match on Tuesday may have half killed our players, so will be another big effort but maybe 1 game too many. PP didn't like to use subs on Tuesday either for some bizarre reason.

Birmingham at home, think we are actually better away from home and it feels like a bit of a free hit after our mid-week victory.

One thing going for us is Birmingham will have zero idea how we will set up, but the difference in squads means that probably won’t matter too much.

I usually hate the term free hit but this feels like one. If we get a draw it'll be brilliant, it'll be a carnival atmosphere down there. I see a defeat, which is no worries really. 3 tough games in a week against big sides with 2 of them away.

We are so inconsistent, it's impossible to know what to expect. We created a lot against Stockport but weren't clinical and created nothing against Barnsley but were clinical. Injuries to Kayne Ramsay and Lloyd Jones has really weakened our defence. Anderson and Allan Campbell were really poor on Tuesday so hoping to see Berry and Docherty come in.

We do tend to be much better at home, I'd expect us to be on the front foot this game. 1 first half goal all season isn't good enough and I hope Jones tries to rectify this. Should be a good atmosphere, 22,000+, which is our highest home attendance in 3 years.

Have a real tendency to let ex players score against us, so Wrexham having 3 is a bit worrying.

I'd defo take a point, but take EOC out and put Brunt there. He looked nice and composed for all the games hes played in, and EOC was dire on Tuesday.

But yeah bit of a free hit, considering all teams this week are ex prem/championship clubs. Bit of a pinch me moment playing these 3, as only 18 months ago we were playing Barnet, Boreham Wood and Eastleigh.

Realistically we’ve not got a chance and will need everything to go our way to even get a sniff of a point,

in 25 years or so of following mansfield i’ve never seen us play a league game against a side so completely on a different planet to ourselves.

I think a point is a good result for Wrexham. Despite the league positions, I do think we probably have a better 11 and don't think we will lose too many games at home this season. Also sounds like Wrexham are a bit weaker away from home. Only thing is if you can score first and defend well, we will have a real tough time trying to break you down

Joint best for conceded, and 3 of those 8 are away at Birmingham, so we are solid at the back. Just weaker up front with Mullin and Palmer and a relatively unknown Mo Faal. Need to rely on Barnett getting crosses in and one of our lads on the end of it. Macca will enjoy getting in on the act as well at the back post. When we thumped Northampton at home, every single goal came from a Barney cross and Macca at the back post. Hoping we can replicate that as well.

Barnsley at home. Have a spell knocking it about, give away a soft goal early in 2nd half, Hurst makes some subs around 70 minutes, Barnsley nick a 2nd late on and everybody wanders off home.

Hopefully wrong but our games especially at home follow a bit of a pattern

Mansfield away for Blues. Another test expected, fair fks to the stags on having a great season so far, always liked and had a soft spot for Cloughie and his old man before him. They have some proper EFL heritage players like Quinn and Gregory so am expecting a good game.

We have a few injuries but Stanno was back on the bench Tuesday and with May firing a blank id expect Jay to start.

Looking forward to a good match early Saturday.

Charlton clearly hoping for a bunch of Soccerball fans that happen to be in London sightseeing turning up.

No excuses though, sickening behaviour.

Nothing says setting up for a fall quite like bottom of the league at home, Conference side away and the derby in all a row.

Defining for Garry and then some.

Quinn and Gregory both rested mid-week so will start I imagine.

Quinn assist record is very good, he missed a few month last season due to a injury and still got 12, actually been off the boil last few games if I’m being honest mind. He will retire a club legend. Gregory picked up an injury so only started one in last three but 6 goals in 9 starts is obviously a good effort, he uncharacteristically missed two sitters against Northampton aswell.

I think we’ve been way too sloppy in possession recently, maybe due to the change in shape, and even though results are generally good Birmingham will have the quality to properly punish us when we make those mistakes.

Huddersfield away, TPTG.
If we play like we did first half on Tuesday we will be thrashed. If we play like we did second half we have a chance.
Fully expect Gary to start with Magennis and Doyle and get at Huddersfield but our defence is likely to be tested and I think we will need to score early if we're going to win
500+ Grecians expected, I won't be one as I'm still traumatised from my last visit there

Really embarrassing, don't mind them advertising the game across London to attract more fans but the half and half scarves in the club shop puts money ahead of the clubs pride.

I think we will get a bunch of soccerball fans turning up. We do have a fair chunk of fans who've stopped going to games but will turn up for the big ones but I don't think that set of fans will really view this game as bigger than Birmingham. For us to sell 6k extra than Brum and 9k extra than last home game against Stockport, I'd imagine the bulk are tourists in London. Hopefully we've also attracted along some local kids who enjoy the game and become fans.

Be full of kids hoping to meet that YouTuber fella.

Really cannot be arsed for it.

Ashamed that we’ve bought into this whole circus for a few quid.

Am I right in saying you're the only game on in London on Saturday? Everyone is either playing on the Sunday or are away (Fulham, Millwall I think) so absolutely hammering to Londoners who need a footy fix for a Saturday afternoon makes sense. I also read that this game for the amount of tickets sold equate to something in the region of 300k? Is that right? If so, then milk it for all its worth. It's all water off a ducks back to me now, but I really don't get the attraction. More than likely our owners won't even turn up.

I genuinely think it’s because of the YouTuber bloke being there rather than anything to do with Wrexham but they’ve obviously picked this fixture to have him there on purpose.

Hahaha.

Just admit you've got a bumper crowd because of Wrexham. No shame in it, it isn't just you. Every away we've played so far as yielded that club's highest home crowd so far this season, and the only one where we didn't, we were just 6 supporters off.

Think only Brentford and Bromley are at home so not much going on football wise. We've upped our prices and have sold an extra 10k vs the Stockport game so probably looking around an extra £300k just in ticket sales
