Us and Posh have no league game in light of the Tinpot final the following day, but a fairly full day otherwise.

As usual my attention is on the arse end of the table, and particularly the Burton/Chelts/Vale mini-league of doom, but in honesty I could see all three of those sides losing at the weekend.

I can’t be arsed to work out the permutations but I believe that Carlisle could officially be relegated at the weekend.

Wigan have had a few poor results lately, so undoubtedly they'll turn into prime Real Madrid when we rock up. It feels like we have to get something from this away game, as Peterborough and Bolton are likely to beat us easily.

Win this and we've got a real chance, as the other 2 we are competing with look to have bust their load a little. Lose and I think it's pretty much game over.

I kind of resigned myself to relegation a few weeks ago, so it's not going to come as a shock.

Be rude if Blackpool weren't on the beach.

Horrible spectacle, a point each. Bugger it, might as well be bullish.

Looking at the table, then Orient away looks a bloody tough game. Dig a little deeper though and there's a real chance for us here. They've had some poor results at home recently and I'd love for Saturday to be another one.

As usual with away games, I'd rip your hand off for a point, but we have to go into the game with the right mentality and try and move on from Monday's cheating ref!

Orient are decimated by injuries and realistically out of the hunt for the playoffs. I can see them struggling to the end of the season now, finishing 11th or 12th maybe. A decent result still, but just running out of gas at the end. I'm local to them so want them to do well, but ultimately they'll be disappointed after such a strong performance for most of the season.

Carlisle at home for us. Not sure of the maths but guessing they could officially be down this weekend. Cant imagine our budgets at the beginning of the season were hugely different, would not have expected to more than double their point tally.

Would be nice to clear 60 points this season so I hope we can continue to apply ourselves for the last few games and not just be on the beach. Guessing a fairly drab 2-0 win for us and the season comfortably ends for us.

I cant see anything other than a convincing Bolton win, sorry those going for auto places. Collins has just started playing after a year off. Great!

Hope we can seriously dent Stevenage's play off hopes. Should be a good crowd despite us being safe and hope we can carry on our decent run. I'm not sure Eisa will start but otherwise expect him to stick with the team that won at Cheltenham.
Might be a sober experience though thanks to train strikes

Oxford at home.
This is how it will play out. We will start well. 4 at the back. Powell pulling the strings in midfield. Few shots, entertaining half.
Then, when Oxford threaten our goal - the dickhead Sunday manager will revert to 5 at the back. Move the players into different positions and we will sit back for a point. Then get picked off and lose 3-0.
I am going for my sins so will see if my Nostradamus prediction is correct.

Both us and Cheltenham are one win in six and struggle to score goals, this is going to end 0-0 or 1-0 either way, we're a solid enough side but in the final third we've lost all spark and we overplay alot, although the return of Dan Agyei is welcome and he'll no doubt get another cameo appearance.

I'd expect Jack Simpson to start at centre half as well now his ban is up, not sure who in place of as it could be either Beckles or Cooper.

Four of our last five games are winnable, not too sure how motivated our players will be.

Away at Reading, which will be a tricky one.

Given the circumstances, they've done well to keep their heads above water all season, although they've seemed fairly inconsistent with their results. They don't seem to be a sit back and defend kinda team and are happy to give it a go.

Jenson pulled out in the warm-up on Easter Monday with a back injury and hasn't trained this week so number two Wright will probably continue in goal. We were expecting Mandroiu back after missing the Carlisle game as well so that's another needed option in CM, even if he isn't really one.

Barnsley are still in the automatic hunt but realistically need to win most/all of their remaining games so should be well up for it. We aren't quite on the beach yet but are just round the corner.

Despite us being really poor the last few games, we are clearly tough to beat. That being said if we play the way we have been playing recently tomorrow, I expect Barnsley to capitalise and win.

I don't want to put a curse on him, but I'm surprised how many games we are getting out of Teddy Bishop. He could barely manage consecutive matches for the first couple of seasons we had him, and I think hadn't done a full 90 for ages! Yet he seems to be available all the time nowadays. Weird.

I thought Reading were one of the better teams we've faced at home this season.

But they should be, really, surely one of the more expensive squads in the division.

Obviously the off-the-pitch issues have been a major distraction, but they’ve still underperformed, even taking the points deduction into account.

Caldwell’s tippy tappy possession vs Evans’ high energy direct style today. I expect us to play with confidence and fancy a 3-1 win.

Pathetic effort from us today. No fight, no effort, no quality

Not a game for the purist (though plenty of effort) but we’re in it for now at least. At some point Wigan will likely get a chance it’s just whether we let our heads drop if they score from it.

Disgraceful dive from Yengi has us behind at the break. Cheating fucker deserves a ban for that. No doubt we’ll get a lovely apology from the ref later on in the week, prick.

Probably don't deserve to be ahead but an absolute howler helped us.

We have no forwards though as Cox had to go off so second half will be interesting

'Ave that Oxford :woo:

Freddie Draper's first goal for the club, as important as Makama's the other week. Great that we are seeing this from our academy players.

Vale the only ones not reading the script in the relegation mini-league of doom (Burton/Chelts/Vale) with a creditable draw thus far at Wigan, the other two losing.

Burton getting a dicking from Oxford can’t help team morale though.

Damn, sounds like we didn't really deserve to be winning but still hard to take.

Mixed feelings on that point. Could and perhaps should have been all three but their keeper Tickle made a couple of very good saves. With that said we haven’t lost and it’s another point we didn’t have before the game so guess would take it. At least we are showing effort in games now even if not quality.

We were comfortable for 30-35 mins and then Rovers had a spell of 5-10 mins either side of half time where they should have scored. A better team would have put us away today but a win’s a win!

I thought we were poor today, or maybe it was Reading who nullified us. Apart from a bright opening 10 minutes, I thought Reading pushed us hard and we sadly didn't deserve to win that. We struggled to put any sort of attack together, except for the goal. A frustrating goal to give away when 1-0 up, but a battling point.

Oxford look like they win very comfortably.

All to do in final 4 games

Hah! Stevenage are shite.

Should have had a man sent off, very very lucky to finish with 11 men. Offered nothing, hilarious watching Evans sulking on the touchline.
