I listened to the not the top 20 podcast predictions and they had you tenth i believe, you’ve signed some alright players for this level but we done that when first relegated and we still had players from prem days and we still couldn’t get autos so it aint easy.

I think more importantly we’ve kept hold of Bannan and Windass (so far) who should be massive players at this level. Iorfa back after 8 months out will be like a new signing as well.

It’s our 3rd time down here since 03/04 and both times we’ve finished 16th I think then gone back up in the second season. I’d say this squad is looking like the best out of all of them but then again the league itself is probably the toughest! We could be anywhere from 1st to 12th IMO

You don’t actually take any notice of it though do you?
We don’t
We all think it's bloody hilarious
He's been obsessed with us since he was first made Boston in 1998, we have a preview show on radio lincs and used to spend more talking about us than he did about his own team.
Waiting for him to announce of starting 11 for Saturday and formation next.
Daft thing both clubs have pretty much the same playing budget.

Our budget is normally about two and half million, which would be among the bottom half a dozen for this division but it certainly wouldn’t be the lowest, which is the line he loves trotting out.
He is obsessed with budgets in general to be fair, not just Lincoln’s.

He certainly is! Our budget is very much in that area.

Our first 11 is looking good for Fleetwood away. However, we are a couple of injuries away from a crisis at the moment. Still need to get some bodies in before the weekend and it looks like we're close to a couple more loan moves before then.
As usual you have sold your complete allocation of tickets for the game so it should be a cracking atmosphere for the game. Our pre season results have been good but they count for nothing and it does'nt get much harder than playing you lads. A draw will be a good result for us, safe journey for all you travelling fans

Stadium of Light will have a canny turnout tomorrow, it’ll be great to see home and away fans at the match again as it has definitely been too long without them. Hopefully it stays like this. Good luck to you all tomorrow apart from Wigan.

Oxford have sold their allocation of 1400 so expecting 6000+ tomorrow. We offered Oxford more tickets but they turned it down which is odd. In terms of the game I have no idea how it will pan out. I just hope we are competitive and can hit on the break with our pace.

Oxford don't start well apparently but they impressed me when we played them in the pizza cup last season. A good footballing side and I am looking forward to getting back into the ground tomorrow. If I had to predict I'll go for a score draw 1-1.

I'd be absolutely gobsmacked if we reached 1,000 never mind 1,500.

We're without Walsh, Maguire, Fiorini and Nlundulu. The team is pretty much picking itself because of players in different stages of pre-season and fitness and needing a couple more bodies through the door.

Totally agree Luke we appear to be massively undercooked due so many having very little game time in pre-season. Maguire, Fiorini and N'Lundulu have played but not recently, it's the strangest pre-season I can remember going back 40 years!
Take a point against 'Mr Budgets' (I like that PuB!) brave battlers...
I'm sure if you do beat us the word 'battered' will be used, you beat a bit of Steve Evans interview bingo lol!

I am expecting us to have a slow start so it might be several weeks before we see a true reflection of how we may be. 2-3 still to come in too.

Anywhere around 750+ for us tomorrow would be decent, no pay on the day and tickets already off sale might dent a few extra travelling to Kent. Don’t envy anyone in that away end if the weather is wet and windy either.

Might not be as many Imps as hoped our local sorting office has been hit by the pingdemic and are struggling to get stuff delivered.

I think we'll actually make a good start, as the first 11 is looking good. However, we don't have much depth so that could hit us very hard unless we get a few more bodies in before the window closes.

I think there’s quite a few clubs, us included, that have little depth in their squads. I think we will all be hoping the injury gods stay away.

Is there actually any evidence that we turned down extra tickets other than one of your fans said it on your message board?

There is absolutely no mention of it our end and the club are running a waiting list system, in case some fans have to return tickets due to Covid etc, so I'd be absolutely amazed if it were true. It makes zero sense, as we sold out in about three days. Anyway, I've got one, so looking forward to it.

Yes, we have started slowly for the last three seasons, but this season I feel we have a much stronger squad, and are more settled, although we've got a couple out tomorrow. The side that played you in the EFL Trophy last year was a weakened team and only had about four of the players you're likely to see tomorrow, but the style of play will be the same possession based game. What's your style of play?

Thats what I was told from someone who works at the club. No idea why you would turn down more tickets. Possibly because you have to provide stewards or police?

You looked a decent footballing side and I’d imagine you’ll have more of the ball tomorrow. I think we’ll pack the midfield and try to cut off your passing lines and hit you on the break with pace. One up top target man who is excellent at holding the ball up.

Should be a great atmosphere tomorrow.

20,000+ there tomorrow for an all ticket game. I expect teething problems with entry into the stadium requiring a negative lateral flow within 48 hours, or covid passport.

Think there will be some decent crowds today with everyone missing attending live football, Bolton expecting 17.000 plus against MK Dons.

Like Mk Dons and most other teams we wont be at full strength today so no excuses.
Gilks,Santos and Doyle all out not match fit. I expect Dixon, Johnston and Bakayoko to replace those three.
I also expect Sheehan to replace Lee and Kachunga to replace Delfounaso

Tough game for us at Rotherham, haven’t really kept on eye on their transfer business but they’ve been always been up there in recent years when in L1. Good chance Ladapo will score against his former club.

Think we’ll lose 2-1, being realistic, but hopefully it’s a solid performance. Conor Grant with the goal for us.

Has Kachunga trained with us much? I'd guess he may make the bench at best if not.

Yep and the majority will then have to sit in the open to face any of the elements!
It’s been very rainy this morning but it’s meant to clear up this afternoon. Hope so!

Attendance at PR 21,037, with 336 Morecambe fans.

Good turnout for an all ticket game straight out of restrictions lifting.

Our equaliser from Fraser (one of 8 starting debutants) has been our first clear cut chance from open play, but it's a joy watching us ping the ball around. Granted the goals are required to make any of it worthwhile. COYB's
