Injury curse continues. Adeboyejo hamstring injury 2 mins in. Really could do without that atm. This run of injuries has been ridiculous

Don’t want to speak too early but this is men against boys again. We are absolutely dominant so far after we destroyed them 7-0 earlier in the season. They don’t look to have improved that much since then. Definitely the worst team we’ve played this season.

Frustrating half, one sloppy piece of defending from a corner again and behind, should have scored three but missed two one and ones and a header from point blank range… sums up our season.

Two very poor sides, neither look great defensively but we’ve got to take chances like we’ve had. Probably why we are heading down in fairness.

Yep, we are dreadful, you should be out of sight though. But we will probably be as bad in the second half so don't worry.

Reading have been very poor so far, although in fairness we’re only ahead through a random wonder goal overhead kick from Wolves loanee Nigel Longwijk (a defender no less :bl: ).

I expect they’ll get the mother of all bollockings at HT and come out a different beast in the second half though.

Been impressed with Collins, with a bit of luck he could have got a couple. Maghoma and Thomason again decent.
We have cut the shite tippy tappy football second half at Barnsley and again today and have dominated both halfs.

Down to 10 just before the half. Smallest player on the pitch with a high boot. Classic bantz.

30 mins still to go, only 1 CM available and we're 3-0 up at Barnsley. A lot of Barnsley fans heading for the exit

What an absolutely ridiculous strike from Moylan for our 4th.

Currently 11 games unbeaten, only conceded 3 goals in that run. Wow!!

Sounds like we’re sticking it on Cambridge after a poor first half. All one way traffic for the last 15 minutes.

We concede our 1st in 5 games, Moylan has been unplayable since coming on, ran through their defence and tap in for Makama. Ended 5-1.

We were forced due to only having 1 CM available, to go with 3 strikers with House in a more CAM role.

Barnsley started very slow but grew into the 1st half, having the better from 25-45. They started strong 2nd half as expected but we score the 2nd at the right time and Barnsley have crumbled. I know they played midweek and conceded that last minute penalty, but expected so much more.

We've been able to make some big changes 2nd half to allow some recovery ahead of Tuesday too. What a perfect away day.

Why does the season have to end so soon? Never ever saw this coming today, was expected to be blown away by Barnsley!

Ironically, I thought we were the better team. I think Shrewsbury had 2 chances and scored them both. We just can't defend and it's why we're going down.

What a game that was. Best half from us all season. Not bad from the 'worst team in the league '

Rhodes red card won't stick. I expect to see him playing on Tuesday . Absolutely killed the game when in complete control. Portsmouth won't mind the point. Absolutely fuming .

HUGE WIN, GET IN!!!

It wasn’t pretty at times but I really couldn’t give a shit at this point, all about the results to stay above that line. The midfield was key in that game, Winchester was outstanding. Udoh lead the line brilliantly which helped, especially after their consolation went in.

That has put us a long, long way towards staying up, results went in our favour too. With Exeter and Carlisle at home to come, could be having a few celebratory beers out in town next weekend with 4-6 points should see us all but save.

Paul Hursts at the wheel!!!

A superb battling performance from Fleetwood, yet again we have a man sent off ( must have the worst disciplinary record in this league. In the grand scheme of things a point is just not enough, but hey Burton/Vale and Cheltenham lost so it's not that bad. 2 successive home games coming up, anything less than 6 points......
The result of the day a fabulous 5-1 demolition of Barnsley by Lincoln, impressive stuff

Game over, better in parts, had enough good chances but lack a striker and opposition score two sloppy defended goals from corners which was about all they did all game… story of our season in 90 minutes.

Great for Dipepa to score his first career goal but needed more from senior players.

Shrewsbury were really poor and the fact we’ve lost twice to them shows why we deserve to go down.

Ah well, not overly arsed at this point, it’s been boring for weeks, dire for months just want April 29th to come and to start the build for trying to get back in 14 months time.

Great point for you. We both suffered red cards as well.

Crazy CM combinations all game wasn't it. Out of the 5 we played in CM over the course of the game, only Erhahon was actually an out and out midfielder?

Cracking result, but it seems like we just cut through them. Still too much of an ask to sneak into the PO's IMO but if this run is what we're in for under Skubala then next season has the potential to be fun.

WTF Lincoln.

We had to seriously grind out that result after Reading made 2 HT subs which seriously changed the game in their favour and gave them a ton more pace in the attack.

But we made subs of our own to turn the game back in our favour and win a late pen.

Never say never, but surely we can get 6 points from the 10 remaining games to bellyflop on that beach.

First home win for 3 months. We weren’t fantastic with some sloppy defending at times but a win is a win and that’s 3 in 4 now. A nice big gap to the relegation zone

Fair play, beaten by the better side. Derby by far the best team we've played this season - quality all over the pitch.

Weird game though, Derby kept us in our own half the first 45 mins but we went in 0-0 after keeping them pretty much at bay. 2nd half we actually looked better but that played beautifully into Derby's hands as the more we attacked, the better they looked going forward.

Not sure where that came from… didn’t see that coming at all. And don’t think many of your fans did either. We should have been 3/4 up at ht but you were a different team second half. 2 cracking goals from Cox but we just didn’t switch on for 10/15 mins after ht and paid the price.

Another injury today that looks like it could be serious to adeboyejo. Very pessimistic about our auto chances. We just continue to drop points and looks like we’ll have to beat Derby next week.

It's so frustrating. Shrews had literally two chances and scored them both. It made me realise why we released Benning, thought he was awful.

We just can't defend, so literally the two chances they have, they score. Ripley was a virtual spectator otherwise. You simply can't give teams a 2 goal headstart.

We needed to score immediately after the 1st goal, as we had some momentum. Once 10 minutes had passed, they killed it with the usual time wasting. Thought the red was overly fussy but didn't contribute to the result.

As you said, over two games probably the worst team we have played but we've lost 4-2 on aggregate. A bit like Lincoln the other week, we couldn't have wished to have played a better side to get 3 points off. It's a sad reflection of our season.

We're down now. No way back from this.
