I missed the first 20 mins of our game, but we are deservedly behind to Brum.

A bad tackle by Xavier Simons resulted in a red card, and we are down to 10 men.

I can see why the red was given, our player had his leg off the floor and didn't look to be in control, but the Brum player's overacting was genuinely pathetic, he was flapping about on the pitch like a fish out of water...only to mysteriously heal, get up and chuckle once the card had been given.

Anyway, I imagine it's just damage limitation at this point.

Big scramble, ball ends up in the net, ref disallows it, the match still hasn't got going

Going to be a squeeze in this tiny terrace today, line-up not too much to moan about considering injuries, even Pym is out now. I would play Boateng and Vickers personally tho.

Apart from a few isolated attacks it's been Wrexham on the ascendancy . Collins probably had the best chance bringing on a good save. Dour game and I wouldn't say Bolton have been savaged in this second half like the Wrexham commentators. They are quite bias. Have to take the point.

Ref just did not allow a game of football to take place there. Blew his whistle anytime a player was breathed on. Absolute shite.

Yes, just seen a stat that the first shot on target was the Collin's chance in the 90th minute, wouldn't like to hear the commentator when you actually do "savage" someone

Tight game but we really should of won that. O'connor doesn't deserve a wage for that miss. 4 yards out open goal. Over the bar

Same again for Mansfield, first attack for the opposition and they score, all from a set piece. It’s the same pretty much every game. It was a poxy goal via a deflection but it all came from poor set-piece defending.

we are abysmal at chasing games to, and we can’t catch even a little bit of luck.

Marquis sent off for Shrews within the first minute. :ffs:
I'd have done violent conduct a lot a quicker than that if I were playing those inbred mouthbreathers!

As for us, referee oscillating wildly in what he considers an acceptable level of physicality but Casey's belief in a soft underbelly seems spot on.

No idea why the goal was allowed to stand, keeper is a pussyclaat but was clearly fouled. Sod it, I'll take it!

Wank start for County at EP. A six foot six keeper should not be getting lobbed from barely fifteen yards

Great example for the captain. At least he wasn't on the pitch for our penalty.

Probably should have had a second pen too. Probably kiss this one goodbye now. Need 3 win from the next 3 to give us a chance hope I'm wrong at full time)

1-0 Burton at HT.

Actually forced their goalie to make a couple of really good saves but been rubbish still, both sides. A deflected goal separates us.

Generally we are rubbish second half’s, but we need to pull someone out of this game or we are properly in the relegation battle.

No complaints. We are dreadful. Northampton a bit better and should have scored a couple minutes before they did.
Big 45 minutes coming up.

Just to add apparently the fastest recorded red card since opta kept these stats. Foul after 4 seconds, red card out on 13 seconds.

I always listen to the oppositions commentary tbh, apart from Andy Morell, it's toe-curling every week...

Even though we somehow didn't get it in the onion bag - O'Connor's miss - even given it was with his standing leg, was unreal....I'd say a draw was maybe just about right.

1-1 finally got a bit of luck ourselves, looked like a OG from our former player Sweeney.

Happy anniversary to Rotherham United.

It's 3 years, 36 months, 156 weeks, 1096 days, 26,304 hours since we last won away on a Saturday.

Bristol Rovers away today.

Will it ever end?
Oooooh....could this be THE day?

We are all over them consistently missing chances, I wonder what’s coming next, other than their GK pretending to be injured so Burton can do a tactical team talk.

1-1 FT.

We battered them second half, had a penalty very late on (that was not a penalty) Akins, a Burton Albion legend then proceeds to sky it and he never misses penalties. Chance after chance, including some great saves from their GK means the points are miraculously shared.

We drawn against Burton both times this season and I have no idea how we’ve not won both of them comfortably. Just like against Blackpool the other week we don’t take the chances to win the game.

Dreadful game. Point about right. Maybe if Northampton had tried to play football second half rather than embark on histrionics they might have held on. Costelloe and Pinnock were embarrassing

Skubala did his best to get sacked this evening and probably isn't far off succeeding.

He was booed off the pitch at HT and threw the game with his team selection. Even the Tinkerman himself didn't tinker as much as he does.

No surprise our best spell of the game came when we decided to bring on some half decent players but too little, too late. I'm not sure the players have much confidence in him anymore.

My only conclusion after Akins missing that penalty late on to win it, our lord and saviour Jesus Christ has decided Mansfield shall not win again this season.

Battered them is being kinda 2nd half, absolutely annihilated them is more accurate, but when you’ve 21 efforts at goal and only 4 go on target it’s not hard to see where the problem is.

It keeps the wolves form the door for now, but it was a brilliant chance to get that win and get the hoodoo off our back.

Harris Ball.

It’s the hope that kills you but this team is night and day since he took over. Back to back wins and clean sheets.

Stevenage at home on Tuesday.
