Battered them is being kinda 2nd half, absolutely annihilated them is more accurate, but when you’ve 21 efforts at goal and only 4 go on target it’s not hard to see where the problem is.

and to think you face Wigan’s miserly defence next up…

Wank start for County at EP. A six foot six keeper should not be getting lobbed from barely fifteen yards
Well that was a vastly different second half, the three half-time subs made a monumental difference. Camps and Moxon added some desperately-needed bite to a midfield that had been easily bypassed, and Andrésson is a pure poacher that isn't looking out of his depth despite the gulf between this and the Icelandic league.

Probably edged it overall but I wish we could turn up for the full 90 minutes at home.

Hard fought and well earned 3 points, off the bottom and damn, there is some hope after all.

Gibbons will be a big miss now though, if Longelo doesn't step up now then he never will.

Won 2-1 away there when we were flying, and our run started losing to them at home in the cup so hopefully we can end it tuesday.

It keeps the wolves form the door for now, but it was a brilliant chance to get that win and get the hoodoo off our back.

Lee Gregory plays and we win comfortably. Evans was poor, looks shattered

Said that on stagsnet.

If gregory was fit we wouldn’t be looking over our shoulders.

Naturally he’s injured though, of course he is. I hope the injury to maris isn’t bad.

Big result for Charlton today. The race for that last playoff spot is seriously tight.

And we've still gotta play everyone from 5th to 2nd, and have a game in hand on most of the teams below us too, so I feel that second is do-able too.

We put in a laboured performance and laboured to defeat, paid in the end for too many mental slips towards the end and conceding from two corners. Thought the second was a foul on Keeley mind, even though he didn't cover himself in much glory for either.

We was better second half after being second best for most of the first half, we had chances as well to double our lead but didn't take them after scoring when on top in the game.

The amount of games has been slowly catching us out, against strong opponents as well and in the end its all been a bit too much for our squad to sustain.

Bit suprised by Charltons celebrations at the end, seemed a bit over the top with 12 games left to play, you'd have thought they'd won promotion :surr:

Just seen the Orient-Charlton highlights.

Disgraceful goalkeeping for both Charlton goals.

He was poor against us on Tuesday too.

We scored in the 92nd and 97th minute. I think we are allowed to over celebrate!

You were celebrating like that when you beat us in the Vertu Trophy!

I would like to speak about how our patterns of play failed today. I would like to tell you how our attack/midfield/defence were below par but still tried to keep going. Hell, I'd like to tell how great Cambridge were and how they swept us aside.

We had nothing. No effort, no idea, no gameplan and no players willing to put themselves out there for the team.

Cambridge can only beat what was in front of them. Today that was nothing..

The reverse of last weekend, when results all went our way. Not a bad performance in a pretty even game. We probably shaded it but neither team did enough to win- we still look very toothless up front.

Charlton, Huddersfield and Stockport keeping the pressure on, damn them.

Turn it in, Jesus Christ

Surprised that we celebrated winning a 6 pointer by scoring in the 92nd and 96th minute after being 1-0 down?

Absolutely, should have all just turned round and gone home for a cup of tea.

So you didn’t celebrate the goal to put you 1-0 up presumably? Or any goal you’ve scored this season as obviously unless it’s the last game of the season and you’ve achieved promotion, you’ve nothing to celebrate.

The most outrageous football take I’ve ever heard.

To be fair it was the way all your players ran towards your fans as soon as the whistle went, it was the sort of celebrations you'd do after achieving something like a promotion or sneaking into the playoffs, or avoiding relegation not winning a single game in isolation.

Thats just my opinion, I personally would rather my team went a bit mad like that after we'd achieved something. I wouldn't have done that, but I guess thats the way I think in football - always the next game unless you've got over the line with your objectives - See Arsenal last season when they won some key games, I thought they went a bit over the top when they beat Bounemouth and Liverpool - they still ultimately achieved nothing.

But thats just the way I see it, football bites you back quickly.

Celebrated like they'd won the title against us and have lost every match since.
For the record I was there and did not ;) and you made the point we've lost every game since - thats football biting you back.

Speechless but fair enough.

For the record, I also cannot stand fans who invade pitches when their team reaches a playoff final - you've still acheived nothing so why act like you have?

Your warnings of being a bit soft and not liking it up you were ringing in my ears through that spectacle. The amount of times it was turned over with a wimper would have me tearing my hair out if were one of youse.
