Saturday 10th October matches

Outplayed by MK Dons yesterday but managed to squeak a win after being under the cosh second half.

After our opening five fixtures against what I'd call the dross of the league, we've only got 8 points when a promotion chasing side would have 13-15. The difficulty ramps up now, Doncaster are always a good test, Gillingham is a bogey ground and Sunderland away speaks for itself. We've got Charlton at home and trips to Lincoln and Plymouth coming soon too and our defence still looks leaky.

I'm still very much in the "Jackett Out" camp.

My eyes may be deceiving me, but according to Sky, Ollie Turton played CB for them yesterday. Can Blackpool fans confirm?

Excellent result for us, although Oxford certainly had their chances too. I’m starting to think we might do a Wycombe

Got to say we have struck gold with his 'replacement' in Callum Camps, he is doing tremendous for his and weighing in with a good few goals -have a good season mate

Unfortunately Dempsey got injured 1st game of the season so hasn't played, hes returned to training now and will hopefully be in the squad vs MK on Saturday

Sounds like a just about deserved win for Bristol Rovers on Saturday - we seem to have a terrible recent record against them!

A little unsure why Montsma had to go off the pitch after colliding with the post for his goal, through no fault of any other player, yet the two Rovers players who clashed heads didn't? Seemed a weird one.

Had we not conceded straight away we'd have probably won, it would have played into our hands with Rovers having to come out.

Still a decent enough start, though.
