First thing I will say is that ref was flaming crap. He was crap for both sides which I suppose makes him fairly crap. He started early. After five minutes a bloody obvious push in the back was missed but he didn't miss the shout of exasperation from our manager and booked him. I need to watch our penalty again to see what he gave the foul for. From where I was standing it was a pretty nasty elbow to the face but he seemed to indicate handball.

Poor as he was he didn't influence the result. Twice we got caught farting about with the ball in defence and once we got caught out by a hoofed clearance. I'm also begging for help on the purpose of our goal kick routine. As far as I can tell, it is to allow the opposition to get back into shape and piss off the ref. Its ridiculous!

We scored the penalty to take the lead and didn't have another shot in the game. We are going down and thoroughly deserve to go. Just not good or strong enough.

Agree the ref was poor, he was at least consistent I thought. No complaints with the penalty, handball or elbow it was a clumsy challenge.
