Sorry Hartlepool fans. We are a walking embarrassment at the moment.

We've had it really bad with postponements this season and there's been some shockers but this one takes the piss. Offered to play it at ours, said no, we'll be fine, inspection yesterday said no bother. If you had one in the morning and called it off, alright, not the greatest, but seriously this is FC Halifax levels of tinpottery. An hour before k/o when one team has travelled the length of the country?

We cover the most miles in the league, won't get reimbursed and it is so frustrating. This fucking league.

It is what it is, this one stings a bit after we offered to switch fixtures to our place were it would've been on 100%, paid £5,000 in travel expenses after being assured everything would be fine, to get it pulled an hour before kick off blows.

Last week when Dover v Hartlepool was postponed on the Friday I was told Dagenham hadn't had a game postponed for 'donkeys years' :)

Challinor angry with the ref rather than Dagenham. Says the Dagenham lot were surprised the ref deemed it playable yesterday. Says we'll pursue compo which we obviously won't get.

Would clubs try to get insurance for this sort of thing?

Surely the refs fault if he deemed it playable yesterday whilst knowing the overnight temps.

Yep first in 9 years so not that bad a record.

A lot of us living nearly 300 miles away said we wouldn't be suprised if it was called off Saturday, given the forecast for down there.
Really pissed off over this,so god knows what Raj.DC & the players are feeling like.
According to BBC Tees.we will be reimbursed by D&R or the league, but it's not the point, another wasted journey.

This is B2TF's alt account, calling it now, very weird.
Nope personally I think he is a bellend on here even before I registered. Me I just defend my club. Stelling publicly called us out a few weeks ago. I'm merely asking if he is going to offer the same criticism.

0-0 at H/T, not the best game on a difficult pitch, excellent stream though for seven and a half quid.

Why would he? Dagenham clearly did everything in their power to get the game on, they called a day early inspection before we travelled and we've both been badly let down by the matchday referee saying the pitch was playable on Friday and calling it off today, the Dagenham groundsman said today that the pitch was in a better condition today than it was yesterday, so the ref is clearly to blame.

Halifax, whilst unable to control the weather and temperature, completely understandable, chucked some bin liners down and a couple of donated blankets from the local dog shelter, crossed their 6 fingers and went home for the night, not to mention cancelling a pitch inspection themselves cos they were confident it was going ahead, only for it to be pulled an hour before kick off, I can see why he was miffed.

Only goal in the division so far, and it was a well worked corner. Probably done enough to be ahead at halftime.

The net result is the same however it's got to. 2 games called off an hour before kick off. My point is their have been many occasions in leagues higher than this one over the last few weeks where a pitch inspection has been passed or not required and then conditions have quickly turned for the worst forcing a late postponement.

We are a club on the pennines its going to happen more to us than many other clubs.

Big, big win today. We fieldd our 19th different defensive line-up in 23 games this season.

Arms all over the defender tbf, it probably gets given more often than not, but not a howler by any means.

Don’t mind that Stockport result at all. Great win for Sutton, though.
Nothing wrong with that at all. Not as ridiculous as Reid's at Weymouth but still abysmal officiating.

Nice solid win that. Will Randall with a contender for goal of the season to make it 2-0 in the opening minutes of the 2nd half (Randall intercepted the ball on the edge of the Sutton penalty area, ran through the middle of the field, going through a few Wood players before calmly burying the ball in the Wood goal) securing the points for Sutton. Up to 2nd now, still 7 points behind but with 3 games in hand.

Dreadful game, we offered very little going forwards but solid enough at the back and thought we deserved our point. Stockport will be disappointed they didn’t win, considering the penalty miss and also the sitter at the start of the half, but don’t really remember Walker having too much to do.
Got to say, that was one of the best streams so far this season, really good commentary too (good knowledge and no bias) and only 7.50 too.

Sutton fans, no problems about ripping up your pitch if you go up?

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Excellent streaming from Edgeley Park, pity it was such a dreadful game. Shots plan was containment and lump it forward to our inept “strikers”. County weren’t much better, had a couple of chances, including a pen. ,which they couldn’t put away. Miracle the game was on, pitch was difficult but playable.
Suppose I am grateful for a point, but whatever happened to entertainment?

Stockport County.
We're absolutely shite in my opinion. The pitch doesn't help but we've played really direct football since this new manager came in. Proper 4-4-2 hit and hope. Still no more reasoning on why we actually sacked Gannon.

Surprising that that's the style a Premier League U23 coach would go for, and implies that he's heavily leaning on McGhee for advice, which doesn't bode well.
