Using that logic I may pop out and murder a murderer tonight but thats ok as the murderer has handed plenty out.

Two wrongs do not make a right and the elbows mcnulty gave out should have been punished on the day as this should have . Being a hard player is no moral justification for having something between abh and gbh committed on you. The ref today was weak and bottled it he should be sidelined for his performance today utterly shocking.... the only thing he got right was cookies second booking

Couldn’t agree more, no professional should aim to deliberately injure another, but it is something McNulty has done in the past and it was going to catch up on him sooner or later. Doesn’t make it right though.

Disappointed not to take a point from that. Fylde are streets ahead of us in their attacking build up play but we coped with it well today. Some excellent blocks from the defence to deny Rowe 8 or 9 times throughout the game. Created a few chances of our own too, the last of which a top corner curler from the edge of the area produced a terrific finger tip save from the Fylde keeper.
I think that's the only time in five games that we've lost to Fylde?

Terrible again, Baxter kept us in it with some great saves. Even with Tranmere at 10 men we looked outnumbered

11 games without a win now, looking past that 2 wins in 19 games as well. Please just let this fucking season be over already.

Serious question, what's gone wrong with you lot? You were flying earlier in the season and Limbrick was on his way to a FL club but you looked hopeless against us over Xmas.

Teams have worked out how to play against our ‘slowly pass sideways’ style I think. Few injuries as well. And our best player Charles-Cook going back to Charlton hasn’t helped either.

My only concern regarding the McNulty incident was that a referee in the fifth tier did not see fit to issue a straight red for someone raking their studs down a player's leg. Typifies the laughable refereeing at this level.

As for the performance, we were excellent and should have won by a bigger margin. It was a big performance and result for us, as it was the first time we have really been fluent since losing the loan players.

Good 3 points for us today but its come at a cost with McNulty's bad injury and Cook's harsh sending off.

He was!

Really?! Surely the GASH is exactly where the shin pad would be?

Think the ref would have given a red had it not been the first minute. Makes up for Isaac being sent off at Eastleigh for a nailed on yellow.

Yep, the two blatant elbows on Kanu and Mensah the ref chose not to see in the first 5 minutes of the playoff semi at yours springs to mind. He kicked the shit out of Kanu all that game until he was finally booked.

Utter tripe that

Did Ginnelly get on?
No. He was set to come on after about 75 minutes, but then we had the red card so Hughes was brought on as a defensive midfielder instead.

Larnell Cole, who has been playing on the right wing for us, pulled his hamstring yesterday so Ginnelly will probably start the next five or six matches.

A good day out in Torquay, where we escaped with all 3 points, despite Torquay being by far the better side.
Some of their pathetic youths threw a brick, eggs and stones at our coach as it was waiting to leave. Of course they instantly shit themselves and ran away the minute someone even raised a voice to them.

Yes Steve that is correct

Can you two take your tiresome Tinpottery to the Tin Pot thread. Nobody here cares about either of your Mickey Mouse operations.
Thanks. :ds:

McNulty's feet were not as high as Appau's and whether he touched the ball is irrelevant. It was a reckless challenge and a definite red card.
