We've dropped a bit lucky here with that Ali-Al Ally-Ally or whatever he's called being on international duty.
Yep, with him fit you just don't know how the game will turn out as he's capable of winning games on his own. Feeling confident though.

I'm hoping we're not going to try and pass Notts off the park, need to get all up in their faces and whisper into their ears at set pieces that their dad has left because he doesn't love them and all that.

If our players can bounce back and play to their strengths then there's no reason we can't win this. If I was Notts manager I'd be putting Nemane on the left and absolutely rinsing the space that Mullarkey leaves behind when he bombs forward.

Pretty sure it's Alan Hamadi, isn't it?

Jones is there already and miles better than Nemane. Most assists of any player in the country, don't you know.

Our away record is terrible, so we're well beatable. But who knows what a Jim O'Brien side looks like. Doubt he'll change much, maybe make us angrier. Keep forgetting we've signed a new lad in midfield with everything else going on as well, he will presumably come straight in. Unless Jim fancies starting himself.

I see Morecambe just lost Mellon who’s been recalled, think he’s scored a fair few.

We're having a fun year of mosts. Most goals scored in the 92, top individual goalscorer, top individual assister, and presumably the most catastrophic individual errors leading to goals conceded.

Jones is great, and impossible not to be happy for him. He'd be playing in the Championship at least without the four years out injured, but just looks like he's having loads of fun playing football. Those signings barely ever work, but so pleased to took a chance on him last season. Playing him at wing back is still a bit mad, though.

Most over the top reaction to losing a manager?

Plus Bugiel is away along with a suspension for another one of their lads (Pell, I think). Not sure if they are a little lightweight up front now? Still they are a threat and have to be at our best to get a result.

Lancaster is lovely. My ex found a jazz festival whilst I was watching us at Morecambe.

There's a great little maritime museum if that floats your boat.
Blimey. A jazz festival AND a maritime museum.

Defo going on my bucket list. Las Vegas, Melbourne and now Lancaster.

Don't knock it. Museums and jazz festivals are all the rage for those of us in our later years. I'll never see 60 again - sob!

With a full team we may have had a chance at Wrexham. Missing our front 2 we will be hanging on. I'd tear your arm off for a point now.

Oh yeah no doubting Jones is better but Mullarkey can get back and cover just about when he's up against someone that isn't rapid. I'm sure Jones would be able to exploit the space as well, but it's just very scary seeing someone fast down the left hand side against us.

Swindon at home, it's the £27 derby. Atleast we won't have to listen to the complaints about ticket prices this week.

Hopefully our bad form is now a thing of the past after a few decent results in the last few games. Swindon seem in a real mess at the moment and have just lost about 75% of there goals with Kemp and Young leaving. We can't be complacent though, which can easily happen after a big away win. Already brought in one new player in with possibly more to come. Its nice to see us actually have midfield players, looks like we should have atleast for this match, which is a real luxury after going for so long with just 1 fit midfielder.

Got a feeling it will be a tighter game than most think it will be, but we should win by the the odd goal, 2-1 home win I'm going for.

Many Swindon fans likely to travel?

Many Swindon fans likely to travel - NO! I'll be there but unless we bring in 3/4 or 5 before midday (highly unlikely) then the majority will stay away. 400 tops for us I think

Jones is quicker than you at first think. He's also got a low centre of gravity and is deceptively strong, he rolls players off him, he's a class act with dodgy knees that's cost him a lot .
Nemane is exciting when he's on it but I think L2 is about as high as he's going to go as he's limited and can be bullied out of a game.
If I were a full back I'd rather mark Nemane although you're right that if Mullarkey is too high up the pitch he's not going to catch Nemane.

Yeah, we are. I would happily see Pell never play for us again though so don't consider him much of a loss. Unless we sign a forward in the next couple of days you'll be facing the fearsome combined strike power of an 18-year-old just learning his trade and Josh Davison.

Got it wrong thee Meadow. You're nearly 60. Anything under 70 is nearly 60.

I think today is the first time I've seen Crawley as favourites this season...not sure I like that.

All things considered we should win. :eyes:

In with a chance, Tilley's got his mojo back.

In which case, I'm definitely nearly 60. A long way to 70 although my next driving license will only last eight years.

I liked Tilley when we played Dons back in August, and unfortunately for us, scored a belting pen in the top corner that gave Foster absolutely no chance. Not even the best keepers in the world would have kept that out. I won't mention how bad the first pen was...

Looking forward to Saturday, could be anything, got to be a reaction to Grimsby’s last home result, god knows how we’ll react to the head coach situation. Hopefully a rest will have done us good.

No doubt an emotional atmosphere pre kick off given the awful accident at the weekend.
