We've been alright second half. In what is a pretty scrappy game- dragging Wycombe down to our level.

Obviously game currently suspended because of the medical emergency in the stands (I think) but was going ok before then. Possibly can count ourselves unlucky Smiths chance hit the post

Yes, been better 2nd half.
Lets hope the Wxm fan who's had the medical emergency is going to be OK....it's only a game after all.

Classic Sam Smith goal, and only in the 30th minute of stoppage time!

Hope the fan taken ill is okay, respect to all involved with that one.

Block H in the away end has been opened and has sold out to home fans but no more home sections have been allowed to be opened. So with Stockport just about selling around 2700 I think the segregation in that end will be massive, Bolton expecting 24,000. Again Stockport always beat us (they also always seemed to do well against Man City back in the day). Things must change today
Narrator: They didn't

Thought we were really poor first half, but still managed to carve out the two best chances. Second half we shored things up much better and probably deserved the points overall.

Your boys were infinitely better than the game at EP, but obviously that isn't saying much. Even though the back three + wing backs should give us width we were disappointingly narrow and Bolton were a constant threat to the full back areas, thankfully our centre halves were on top of most things. We started with two attacking strikers and that was a mistake because they spent the entire first half with backs to goal, couldn't run on to balls at all which they thrive on; bringing on Wootton changed it completely because every centre half in the division hates playing him, it gave us a focus to push on.

The ref blew for time just as we were getting back into it.

You have to laugh or else you'd cry. Hearing Elliot say how we played well for most of the match will give me a chuckle later.

I was hoping we'd go down with a bit of fight anout us. Oh well!

I didn't see that coming for us at all today, a repeat of the scoreline last season and first career hat trick for Jovon Makama.
We're so inconsistent.

A win at last, and I thought Barnsley were supposed to be good they are the only team we have beaten twice this season,

Another awful game of football at Shrewsbury with 2 poor teams. Burton winning with defensive lapses, but fully deserved their win. Burrell for Burton best player on the pitch by a mile, looks a real find.

After a positive run in February, we're going down with a whimper. Players simply aren't good enough. The crowd (what was left at least) were chanting for the head of the Director of Football Micky Moore to go, but he's been operating with a league 2 budget (and reducing) for 2 seasons as the chairman can't afford to keep things going. This elusive takeover is vital.

Deserved win for Mansfield, Barnsley had a few moments in the first 10/15 minutes and got the goal with the one attack they managed in the entire second half but Mansfield edged it throughout.

It's been way, wayyyyy too long hopefully now we've finally got a win we can get a couple more to keep it comfortable.

Barnsley really should be a lot better with the players they've got, maybe not defensively but elsewhere they got some talent.

Seeing as this site is still f**ked and you cannot access from your phone, i've had to use the tablet...

I expected so much more from Bristol Rovers. They've had two cracking results recently and thought we would see them give it a go. They were diabolical.

I really like us setting us as we have been at home. Rather than having 5 at the back, we have been playing with 4, and Hackett playing in the 10 with Jefferies and Makama out wide. We started off on the front foot and should have scored in the opening 10 minutes. Always feel first goal is crucial with us and Makama scored a thunderbolt. It was a very comfortable first half, only frustration is it should have been by more than 1 goal. Bristol Rovers attacked a few times and only looks slightly dangerous when they got in behind us. Don't think they had an attempt first half.

2nd half, again we started so well and quickly raced into a 3 goal lead. I would probably say Bristol Rovers were worse 2nd half, they never got in behind us and I think Wickens had just 1 save to make all game. Playing Makama wide on the right suits him so much and great to see him score his first professional hatrick.

Also great to see us being able to change the entire front line/ central midfield with like for like players due to strength in depth.

Expected a few more in the away end today. That's 2 5-0 wins in consecutive seasons against Bristol Rovers. They are now only 6 points ahead of Burton. Based on that game they should definitely be looking down and not up.

We've really started to find a nack with scoring goals, pleased to see us keep a clean sheet today too!

Affects both teams. I'm not sure what you're arguing about here.

Its not ideal but what was the alternative? Come all the way back to Wycombe from North Wales to play 13 minutes?
Leave him be, he's obviously 10 pints deep in Rotherham spoons by that point.

A lot of credit to the Wycombe players with how they dealt with them incident as well. From the keeper trying to get the refs attention to their whole team acknowledging the fans at the restart. A classy touch. Their fans seem a good bunch too- not something you can often say.

Yeah they really didn't have to applaud our support the way they did when they came back on. Very classy, and the club reacting as they did may have saved that man's life.
