Accrington at home is always tricky. They are a horrible side to play against under Coleman and we find it tough against them, lost 7 of the last 8 league match ups. But, it's at home, so no reason not to be targeting 3 points. Won 6 of the last 7 league games at home and if we want to remain in the play-offs, then a win should be the aim.

Will be my first home game since before covid.
In fact, I've seen us play more AT Mansfield in last 4 years!
2-2, although if we win, it would be nice to return the chant of "take your flag(s) and fuck off home"!

Dunno what to think about this game. Still in good form league wise but an uncharacteristic performance and subsequent cup exit against lower league opposition and a postponement to follow may have stalled our momentum somewhat. It'll be two and a half weeks since our last league outing by the time Saturday comes around. I would take a point if offered now.

Given the turmoil at Swindon I'd prefer all 3 points. Score 1st and we might just get them.

Are MK Dons any good? Not really paid any attention to them so far this season.

Very up and down from what I've seen. We went away there recently and outplayed them for the first half and then it was more even in the second. They seemed a bit soft really. Didn't look up for it at first and didn't press that well so I'd say if you can get a good mix of players that put themselves about and compliment it with getting on the ball then you'll have a decent chance.

Thank God I’m in Athens for this one. Expecting the lowest gate of the season. Dreadful performance v Wimbledon, leaking goals for fun. No discernible change of tactics from the manager to try something different so it’s the usual hit and hope approach. Losing faith in Flynn tbh. Getting the feeling the players are as well.

Heres a good stat. We’ve conceded 40 goals, 28 of which in the 2nd half.

there was a stat a couple of weeks ago that showed we get 72% of our goals in the 2nd half....

Salford away. We're doing well but still have it in us to fuck things up. I'm hoping that we avenge the 2-3 loss at home last season.

No easy games for us at the moment, out of form and short on confidence but nor are we suddenly a rubbish team. Win, lose, draw, none would surprise me but I've no idea what to predict.

Bradford at home…..no idea.
If we play like we did against Charlton we could well win, if we play like we did against Tranmere we will definitely lose.
Had two weeks off so no excuses really.

Notts odds on away at Harrogate is awful value for money.

In fact, I'm not sure there's much value to be had at all this weekend. We're gonna feature in the most accas at that price.

Bar the Stylish Magpies, the game I'm most interested in seeing the outcome is Gillingham Vs Bradford, good indicator of AFC's initial resurgence under their new manager.

Best value for me is an outsider, Tranmere at Walsall.

My NAP is Dons as Salford.

I had to look NAP up as I've never placed a bet.

I really wouldn't bet on us.

I shall be missing our thrashing of Mansfield (I wish). Being dragged to London to be forced to imbibe in copious amounts of alcoholic beverages and possibly illegal substances.

How will I cope.

Different test for us on Saturday and one I dare say is more matched to Hurst's Grimsby. We've had three tough matches since Artell took over but all of them against teams/managers that like to get it down on the deck and play and we've held our own. I might doing Newport/Coughlan a disservice but I'd imagine we're gonna get pressed and harried a bit more then we have done in those previous three matches. Double trouble ex-player problem for us in Bogle and Morris too, with the latter apparently having a very good season so far which doesn't surprise me greatly as he showed his quality albeit sporadically. Hopefully, we can go there and continue playing as we have been though. Refreshing that we'll be going there worrying about our own game and not so much the opponent's though.

If you haven't then NAP is going to be very confusing

Your response is what I expect from 95% on this site, they never want to back their side prior to the game regardless of form, league position, anything.

Every chance of getting a win at Salford. Confidence is high. We more or less have a fully fit squad so no reason at all why we can't pick up 3 points. In saying that a point away from home is always decent.

Don't worry, I'll suffer for you. Apart from the illegal substances.

Well the injury curse isn’t leaving us alone, apparently we will be short of a few more players on Saturday. We have 4 out for the season, 5 who are allegedly a month away then a few who won’t be okay for Saturday
