Bromley (a), potentially huge for us. Win it, and we’ll have back-to-back wins for the first time in 20+ months, and will be just a point behind Bromley. Lose it, and it’s back to square one. Horrible allocation of just 515 all sold, so we’ll have decent backing.

Gabe Breeze has to keep his place in goal. Didn’t concede over 90 minutes against Wigan last week, and kept a clean sheet yesterday. The defence will likely remain unchanged. Karen Harris looked promising on his cameo from the bench yesterday, and will be looking to force his way into the side.

Vale away at Morecambe. Got a few injuries that are affecting us massively. Vale lost away to Morecambe on last 3 visits so even though vale should win really it's not a ground vale have done well at recently.

Jatta has got his first Gambia call up so will miss this, which means we’re looking ridiculously short of attacking options. Could really do with McGoldrick being back.

If we get something here it will be a hurdle cleared with the players we have missing.
Seems a long time since we've had our strongest squad to pick from.

Morecambe at home to Port Vale ,we have just won 2 games back to back so a possibility of a 3rd against high flying Port Vale could be on the cards ,was good to keep battling against Harrogate and get a last minute winner . Will be a tough game on Saturday and also an afternoon of protests against the current owner ,don't worry if we all turn our backs on the game for 2 minutes during the 1st half it's nothing against you

As long as you don’t sit on the pitch and get it abandoned like the last one we played in!

Huge game for us after yesterday and need to bounce back here.

Might need to tweak things with the injuries in midfield but expect it will be a dominant performance for us with the ball and doing the probing but if we can break Morecambe down and keep it tight on the break like a similar game to what we had at Harrogate.

Watched Morecambe yesterday on sky and felt they worked ever so hard and despite the obvious lack of quality fought to the end and threw themselves at everything so we will have to match that desire minimum and not take it lightly.

Hopefully yesterday has fired us up rather than knocked confidence.

I think it'll be similar to our game against Harrogate. We'll have 2/3 of the possession but we need to shift it a bit quicker than we did against Harrogate. Harrogate closed the gap in quality by hard work and tenacity, making it a closer game than it should have been...I think it will be similar here.

Hoping that maybe Cover comes into midfield and Sang drops into the back line, as it really didn't work yesterday.

We should have too much, but we know that football never works that way. Poor performance yesterday that we need to put to bed quickly.

Yeah good old Karen. Can’t knock her.

Crewe Alexandra fans don't know how fortunate they've been with this call up. Would have been good viewing seeing the Jatt Man up against the talented Mr Demetriou

Longest trip of the season for Grimsby for our Europa League fixture at Newport. iirc it is something like 4 miles further than Gillingham!

Disappointed to learn that the Tiny Rebel Tap room in the City centre has closed!

Not the most exciting game for either set of fans but Grimsby will be hopeful of continuing their away form, whilst being mindful that it won’t continue for ever. Newport currently where many expected, not in immediate danger but looking for mid table obscurity ( which is where I expected Grimsby to be)

For the second time a Saturday home game cancelled because the opponent (last time Wimbledon this time Fleetwood) have international call-ups. Frustrating as it will be re-arranged for midweek, when I struggle to attend and the club loses money by it. Typically our sole international Swindon loanee Saidou Khan hasn’t played since picking up an injury with Gambia at the last international break. The last extended absence de-railed us so hoping for no repeat.

Ey? Sang was probably our MOTM?

MK Dons away.

God only knows what will happen - we've won our last 3 away games, but two of them were Carlisle and Colchester.

I'm not expecting anything myself, but stranger things have happened.

The only issue is we could do with Sang at RCB for this one with us likely to dominate the ball and Jesse having a couple of stinkers on the ball v Wimbledon and Saturday.

I'd stick Grant in midfield if Harper isn't ready for this so we can use Sang there.

Bromley away. I'll take a point now tbh.
Like a fair few Cumbrians, it's a double header for me. Hayes Lane on Saturday and Wembley on Sunday.

I don't think we'll dominate the ball as much as people think. Morecambe away is always a proper cagey affair.

Can see it being similar to the Tranmere game myself. I can't envisage anything other than a 1-0 defeat atm. It's just that type of game.

Could be, the actually haven't won at home yet and are much better away from home results wise which is interesting, 3 draws though.

It feels a bit must win though from our point of view with the games to come and the injuries not to lose the momentum.

Away from home so probably a convincing win. Naylor back into CM please Cook.

Boot
Tanton Dunkley Grimes Gordon
Oldaker Naylor
Markanday Mandeville Dobra
Grigg

Really Hope to see Dunkley back - Mandeville deserves a start. Araujo for Grimes if fit.

Mandy in the 10! Has he played there before. May be a bit of a shake up though following that shite attacking display at the weekend. Really hope Dunkley is back at the very least. Hope the keeper is alright too, not sure I trust Boot to be starting.

I don't think he had a terrible game by any stretch but I just feel he didn't impact the game. Feel like Cover would have more dynamism there and willingness to drive forward. At some points, Sang was virtually dropping into the back line. He can play the odd pass but it's not his game to drive the team forward.

Debrah is suited as the centre of a 3, not to the right as he's not good enough on the ball. That's where Sang should be.

We desperately need Byers to get fit quickly.

Yeah, I know everyone’s got a bit of an injury crisis this season, but it’s really annoying how pretty much all of ours have happened to attacking players.

Brown’s uptick in form has been useful, but it’s definitely been with him playing deeper and as more of a midfielder, so it’ll be annoying if we’ve got no choice but to have him as a lone striker for this.

Yes he has, although it won’t matter as the 3 rotate constantly anyway. For me Mandy might be the key to more chances. Dobs and Markanday are similar (Dilan more end product at the min). Berry is great off the bench IMO. Mandy and his assist rate last season could find the killer pass for Grigg for me.
