In fairness, you defended your box pretty well. We just couldn't seem to quite get in a position to score. Garrity added a bit more physicality up front and it made the difference. You can clearly see a plan and the fact we have a coach first and foremost as a manager is clear to see. We've never had such proactive substitutions and incredible depth of research into the opposition's strengths and weaknesses. This current form is no accident.Yeah we didn’t get going at all. Brady mentioned we were ‘strangled’ and I think that’s an apt word. Couldn’t string any meaningful possession/pressure together and that left us unable to get out. Still managed to limit you but to only have one decent chance is a pretty poor show and not something we’ve seen often under Brady.
It's a compliment to us this season so far that teams have come to try and get a draw or scrape a one goal victory on the break
Not sure what Hoskins was doing with that chance. Also thought the keeper got down very slowly to our goal...he looked to be carrying a bit too much timber to me.
We've seen before how things can go quickly wrong but we've got some excellent footballers this season. We've got a very solid goalkeeper and are much more energetic. We've also got to be one of the fittest teams in the league...it's one of many goals we've scored in the last quarter of the game.
Still targeting 50 points and then go from there.
