Saturday 1st February Match Thread (less whatever match Swindon are playing in)

Good game on Sat vs FGR, two sides playing nice passing football. First 15 mins a bit scrappy, then we scored a great team goal with plenty of passes from our own box all the way up the field with a good finish.

After that we were well on top and FGR hardly touched the ball until an amazing individual goal that nobody was saving brought them back into it.

Second half was very even both scoring another decent goal each. Draw fair result in the end but some good passing football on display for a change. If that's how Holloway wants us to play more often I'll be happy watching us the rest of the season even if we don't win, then hopefully he gets in more players up to playing like that in the summer.

It was a good game and did think your first was excellent. If Holloway keeps you playing like that you should be on the up.

Mansfield’s pitch was a cabbage patch when we played there Boxing Day! Right mess. Mind you Newport’s looks worse on the highlights, egg chasers play there?

It’s geniunely been rated above average by opposition managers and officials.

Bit much from Mark Bonner, I mean I know he was in high spirits after the win but there was no need to outrage public decency.

I saw this happen - it was about ten yards to my left in the Habbin. I mean, when I saw it happen, I saw the clown pulling his trousers up but fortunately had no sight of the snake/maggot (delete as desired).

Yep indeed I did. It's only a rough estimate as I didn't get that good a look but the little fella wasn't that much bigger than yours. But fear not; just that teeny bit more exercise on your part and you'll get there.
