If we don't have additional funding in place before the end of the season, then I'm sure that he won't be here next season. But if we do, then I'm pretty sure he will be. The message from his last couple of interviews is that it's down to the board to bring in that extra funding - although how easy that is with the existing structure of the club and the terms of its agreement with landlord Chris Ingram is anyone's guess.

That was certainly a far improved performance from Gateshead (not that it could have been any worse). We deserved something from the game and were unlucky with refereeing decisions, but you make your own luck in football and ultimately, yet again, ill discipline and naivety at the wrong moments has cost us.

I overheard some FGR fans saying we were the best side they've played this season and they expect us to be top 5. I can believe the first bit, but not the second. I've been more patient with McNamara than most, but I now have no faith whatsoever in him to turn this round. I think Jason McGill's admirable commitment to "doing things the right way" is going to lead to us squandering our parachute payment- and with it our best chance of promotion- on a manager who has proven time and time again he has no idea what he's doing. Sticking with your manager and developing a long term plan for pretty football and bringing young players through is fine when you're in mid table. It's not fine when you're tumbling out of the Football League and look like exiting the Conference from the opposite direction. There comes a time when you have to be ruthless, put the emergency brakes on and say "abort mission" and we're well past that stage now.

York must have improved massively between Tuesday and yesterday, no way would anyone beat them 6-1 playing like that.

Another good late win,´always sweet to score last minute winners especially against a team containing Richard Brodie, the odious; cheating; duck faced; fat fuck. And Heslop def deserved to go, the filthy bastard twat.

York will be top 10 minimum going on that, they knock it about well and created a lot of chances. Their discipline has gotta improve though, they wont finish many games with 11 men if they play like that every week.

I'm surprised the majority of our fans let them off so easily although I suppose they've just been voting with their feet this season. Amazing how far the club has distanced fans in the last year or so. The 'we're all in this together' attitude is long gone. Such a shame.

Rarely agree with much on RP, but a few people commenting how if you look at last season's squad vs this, we are further away from play-off's.

I can't help but feel last season's squad with the likes of Dunn and Jalal, Tilt, Rutherford, White (without the terrible illness) would be a lot better than what we have now.

Both them and Lincoln will be part of the play-off chasing pack. Wont be much between 4th and 12th, can see it being a tight battle between the likes of those 2, Dagenham, Wrexham, Dover, Gateshead, Aldershot and Barrow for the final 2 play off places.

We are definitely missing Jennings and really could do with Jackson buzzing around upfront and Heslop playing deep, although Kai Edwards did okay there on Saturday. Manny Smith alongside Tilt and Bencherif would be cracking back three.

The main problem on Saturday was that Rooney was on the ball loads and became shitter as the match went on. I'd like to see him replaced by Harvey when that happens in the future. He's struggled to make his mark so far, but IS supposed to be ace according to Plymouth fans. Maybe he just needs some pitch time without Rooney getting in his way.

And yeah, Harrad has to start on Saturday.

He's only playing where Mills tells him to and I doubt being a deep lying midfielder is his position. He's always too far away from actually affecting the play in the final third. I think we need to play 2 normal midfielders behind him and let him play off the striker.

Based on looking at the highlights Halls challenge for the red card was definitely no worse than the one on Danny Rowe just before you scored the first goal. I agree by that point it didnt change the game as I don't think we were ever going to score, but we may appeal. The referee was poor for both sides, one of those overly officious ones (someone mentioned it was his first game at this level) who wanted the game to be about him; many unnecssary bookings, inability to play advantage, etc. Will see him in the Premier League before too long...

Ludicrous to segregate for 37 Barrow supporters and as always, segregation leads to more trouble than it prevents.

Weve been really lucky so far- 2 last minute wins at home, not the stuff of title contenders. Brave penalty shot, one of those sort of lazy lobs that look good unless they get saved or go over the bar and then become the biggest embarrassment. I wasnt sure why Tubbs was wearing a bra though

Not 100% sure what went on but it seemed like a couple of Barrow supporters hadn't realised it was segregated (I didn't notice until I was in the ground to be fair), gone in the wrong end and the stewards kicked up a fuss about letting them through the gate. A few Barrow supporters were unhappy about having to walk up the hill to the away end, stewards ejected a couple for moaning about it. According to their forum, stewards were seen smoking in the toilets then ejected fans/threatened to eject fans who complained about it.

Seen it all before at Crabble, our stewards are wankers. As has been said in this thread though, it's a problem across the whole league, not just here.

The segregation at Crabble is two huge metal fences, all they should need on top of that in the away end is a few volunteers just to keep the peace and stop people going on the pitch, rather than a squadron of 10 steroid fuelled nightclub bouncers. In my experience, stewards who can have a laugh and a bit of banter with away supporters find themselves having to deal with a lot less trouble than those who are aggressive and over the top.

On the flip side of the coin, when we travelled to Corby in the FA Cup there were about 3 stewards in the whole ground, average age about 70 trying to deal with about 1,000 supporters from both clubs in the same stand whilst allowing alcohol in the stands and it was carnage. It's difficult to get the balance right.

I think the solution is to have the regular volunteer supporter stewards in charge of interaction with supporters. An away supporter is much more likely to respond well to an elderly volunteer football supporter telling him to calm down than a huge lump with a badge on his arm and a chip on his shoulder. Then if the trouble continues, call for the agency staff to sort it out.

Many a time at Crabble I've heard Dover supporters should vile abuse through the segregation, cause all sorts of trouble and seen the security staff just stand and laugh. The moment anything goes off in the away end the stewards can't wait to "eject" people. Again, this happens across the country.

The beach ball incident sums up treatment of away supporters by a lot of clubs. Treated like criminals by home clubs and police at times

Our players wear those too (not just McNulty, either!). I'm guessing they're for performance analysis... heartrate, GPS, that sort of thing. Part of the Globall Coach system, which I'm assuming you use too.
