An intelligent reply from an adult is always welcome. Unfortunately you are not one. You post 95% drivel. You make a complete show of yourself on a daily basis and by proxy all other Bolton fans. Somebody needs to restrict your internet access for your own good.
quite correct 95% drivel football....the 5% that is actual fact is me replying to you.

So jog on and take your hatred somewhere else

Looked like it would have hit the post and gone in anyway. You don't care though do you.
correct - we don't care - the 3 points were all that mattered.
The funniest part about it was Crawley's number 5 trying to appeal for offside.

A bit harsh to say we were cheats, we didn't break FFP rules or try to manipulate the system. We through unfortunate circumstances ended up with a rogue chairman who was largely responsible for putting the club into Administration. and nearly responsible for it's demise. That's why we were deducted 12 points.

The Anderson family were extracting money out of the club as below (over half a million going to Anderson every year and £125.000 to his son apparently for modelling underpants haha !) and and a considerable part of the debt when Bolton went into Admin was to Anderson as a secured creditor and was trying to extort 7.5 million out of the Administration which was money based on charges he had found a way on putting on the clubs assets placed in September 2018. He received 1.5 million in the end.

Perhaps if Anderson had paid the players or the coach company who were owed £20k instead of himself it could have been different.

After the take the Administrator commented.

Appleton praised one of the main creditors, the Eddie Davies Trust, for being "willing to find a compromise to save the club" during the talks - but he was critical of the club's former owner Ken Anderson, who he said was responsible for the deal initially collapsing on Monday.

He added the Trust was determined "not to allow Bolton Wanderers to suffer any longer at the hands of Ken Anderson".

"Sadly, Anderson has used his position as a secured creditor to hamper and frustrate any deal that did not benefit him or suit his purposes," he added.

Further costs related to Ken Anderson, the club owner who was previously barred from being a company director in the UK for eight years.

Bolton’s ‘rogue chairman’ Ken Anderson puts EFL ownership rules under scrutiny | Football | The Guardian

Anderson was paid £525,000 for his services via Inner Circle Investments Limited, a company he set up in 2015 with an investment of £1 of shares.

By having such an arrangement, it allows him to legitimately say that he is not being paid a salary by Wanderers.

word-image-10.png
Inner Circle Investments Ltd It It appears to be little more than an investments vehicle, as the only asset it owns is a 95% share in Burnden Leisure.

In addition, £125,000 was paid to another member of the Anderson family, which appears to Ken’s son Lee Anderson, via something called the Athos Group. A trawl of Company’s House reveals that Athos Group is a services company that seems to have no executive called Lee Anderson. It would therefore appear that Lee was paid for consultancy or other work, such as modelling BWFC leisurewear.

Anyway those day's are behind us but any club can be undone by bad ownership
A very reasoned counterargument. I think we can safely conclude you're not a Masi alter ego!

Fair enough. To be honest if it comes down to it i would rather see two North West teams go up automatically and Morecambe in the play offs. Not Salford though, not a chance i want them to do anything.
I would love to see Morecambe/Bolton and Tranmere go up, failing that 2 out of 3

Is it a clear hand ball if it hits your thigh first?
We really are due a break.
Were you there? Because it's impossible to tell that from the highlights.

I thought the first one was soft at the time, but watching it back the Exeter lad has studs up at hip height - if you catch a player's leg while doing that, it's going to be a foul.

The second one, the lad is leaning over and blocks a cross with his arm. Ref had a better view, and it's impossible to draw any real conclusions from the highlights.

I personally think they were both penalties, but still think a draw would be fairer.

I thought Dean Ashton summed it up quite well last night on Quest, the first is a penalty based on the foul on the Tranmere player, but the Tranmere player appears to foul the other Exeter player first in the jump for the ball.

The second, I thought, was a clear handball.

Of course I wasnt there! I'm just going on Page's reaction. Taylor seems particularly upset about them, without going into detail as to why.
Its frustrating that at this level the camera work is so poor too.
It seems that most people agree that we were worth at least a point, that's the second week running that's happened, which is incredibly frustrating and is costing our season.

I did say that I was not trying to explain away a loss when discussing the ref.

Barrow won and Barrow deserved to win. No complaints with the ref about the goals. As far as I could see they were all perfectly good.

I dont know why Yems slags off the refs at every opportunity. I dont pay much attention to it now. The proverbial boy who cried wolf syndrome. All it gets is a fine from the fa and people taking the piss.

I am a lot more annoyed with our team selection and defending (from the team as a whole). For instance on selection, why play a 37 year old centre back at left back when you have two players on the bench perfectly capable of doing it? On defending, why leave the middle of the six yard box free of defenders from corners? Two of your goals and a header wide could have been prevented if we had someone standing there.

The result was not the refs fault but the ref was pretty lousy for both teams!

I'm not sure how the camera work could have been better without multiple camera angles?

Ultimately, despite you being sharper than us in the middle of the pitch you didn't really create much where it counted. You had two shots on goal, your XG was 0.5. Forgetting Tranmere's performance for a sec, you can't play like than and not expect to lose.

Well of course your XG will be better if you get two penalties! Bit of a dubious system if it only gives 0.2 for Randall's goal when he was clean through. Any striker worth their salt would score better than 1 in 5 there. Who writes this stuff?

TOTW across all EFL leagues. Still no Kieran Lee.

Surprised Tozer got in, thought both Long and Freestone had better games in defence. Shows how useless those things are I suppose.

They’ve badly misspelled “Kieran Lee” in between Pett and Wilkinson, there.
They cannot put him in every week, but a goal and a assist and generally dragging the whole team over the line
To record another victory. January the 23 we got beat 2-1 by Tranmere leaving us in 17th position. No wins in 6 games.... We then signed 8 players who have turned this season around.......All these players have yet to taste defeat Winning 10 and drawing 2.
Keep your team of the week because come May these players WILL be celebrating promotion back to lge 1

On the subject of Hoolihan. Will he be at Cambridge next season if you get promoted?
A 39 years young Hoolihan wont be as effective in lge 1. I see both Mullen and Knoyle are out of contract in the summer and i can see both of them moving on.
Can Cambridge compete next season and would they attract decent lge 1 players.

Of the 10 teams still involved with a chance of going up.......I can only see Bolton, Tranmere and Salford attracting players that will give them a chance of staying up.
The other 7 may get promoted but your coming back next May.
That is the reality of modern football

Interesting concept you have taken there but I wouldn't expect anything less from a Bolton fan. And by that I mean you expect lowly Cambridge to not to be able to afford or attract players good enough for league one, right? We got our recruitment right in the summer, you didn't. That's cost your club a lot of money and possible automatics.

No-one expected Cambridge to be challenging for promotion this season given our budget and previous seasons we've had, which is fair enough may I add.

This season we have a manager who is a the start of his managerial career but has been managing at the club from academy U'9's all the way up to U'18's so knows the club inside out. He is from Cambridge and has been a fan since a boy. He still has a lot to learn but the players love him and he has created a great feeling amongst the squad and fans and everyone is fighting for promotion. He is getting that extra 10% from players deemed not good enough by the fans or previous clubs. (Iredale Carlisle) (Digby Stevenage) (Mullin Tranmere) (Ironside Macclesfield).

Players like Mullin, Ironside, Boateng and Digby in this summer which have all been huge additions. Ironside was wanted by Exeter but he signed because of Bonners vision. I believe he would build a squad good enough to fight off relegation with or without Hoolahan. If we go up I think Knoyle stays but unlikely Mullin does given he only signed a one year deal despite being offered a two year contract.

On Hoolahan i'm not sure what his plan is next season. He would still run things in certain games in league one but it's whether he wants to carry on. We are just enjoying watching him whilst we can.

Cambridge might not have the biggest budget or the biggest ground but we have Bonner and our location to sell to players. Close to London to commute and Cambridge as a place to live isn't too shabby.

It's literally an arbitrary opinion of one bloke who watched the match and decided which players were worth an 8, 9 or 10. You only need to look at the various opinions every time a club posts on Twitter asking who was man of the match.
Plus, how the fuck can anyone say a player who played well in one match played better than another in a match they didn't see???

I love to see all the outrage every week when Shearer posts his 'official' team of the week. As if he's sat and watched all 90 mins of 10 PL games.

When we played Cambridge, we played very well and your manager after the game was very fair in his comments, a rareity no excuses just an honest appraisal, he came across really well. Wish Cambridge contiued success after this season of course it's going to be a rollercoaster from now to May. If we do go up no problem if you join us.

I’m sure if Kieran Lee played for Cambridge and Hoolahan for Bolton we would all be arguing the other way around. Haha.

If you base it on statistics ( assists, goals etc) then the Port Vale supporters are right. David Worrall wins.

He looked good against us especially in the first game. Think he got a goal and a couple of assists in that game.
