Convincing win against Shrewsbury. Promising when you consider we’re missing 4 players who’d arguably start today.

You're welcome Dons fans. 2 absolute gifts.
GK & Defence always looks like they have a mistake (or mistakes!) in them.

Should have been out of sight early in the second half.

The wait for that first win goes on.

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.
lose 3-0 and score all of them.
Pathetic showing. Never a 3-0 defeat but not good enough today. Need our strikers back quick.
Well done Cambridge.

How the devil we lost that is beyond me. Second half completely on top, it was only a matter of time before the goal came. Bolton corner… Goal. Frustrating.

Still not quite clicking up front yet. Missed Harness today. Both GKs made good saves and gutted we missed the easiest of chances from the spot. Still not conceded in the league. Doing that with a completely new side is decent. Bazunu in great form at the moment

Yes we blew that one.
One of the best penalty saves I've seen changed the game.
The first goal was offside twice and we were just getting back on top when first Wiles got caught in possession and then the goalkeeper somehow let it slip from his grasp for a tap in.

It was just one of those days for us with Ogbene having to go off when he was getting a lot of joy down Wednesday's left flank.

But Wednesday are a totally different team to last season's, very strong at the back, strong tackles going on in midfield and won without actually playing that well.
I don't like it.

Yeah I wouldn’t have any complaints had we gone in a goal down at half time, I said the same after Fleetwood's second half and Donny’s first too.

It’s a good thing that we’re winning without necessarily playing well though. Defensively we are sound and it’s rare a team has had a really good chance against us but it’s yet to click going forward. We give it away easily or pick the wrong option more often than not but I’m not too worried, once the new players have settled in and we had Windass back that should sort itself out.

I think you certainly had the best of the second half but your goal was off side and Taylor clearly handled the ball

Throughly deserved win against Charlton, only reason we took long to score was their brilliant keeper. A McClean goal on debut as well was ideal.

I didn’t go today (thankfully), but I’m starting to think I might have overrated our team. Only 4 games in granted, but to be the only club in the FL to not have scored a single goal and we still sit on zero points from twelve, it hurts tonight.

Just don’t know where the first goal is going to come from let alone point(s). I know Cotterill hasn’t had the best time this past year what with him being close to death, but questions have to be asked of him soon if we keep this up.

Time to get pissed and forget about today’s shambles!

Very poor today. A team who are set up to pass the ball and couldn't against a side who couldn't pass the ball and had no intention of doing so. The result was stop start game and turnovers galore.

Too many hospital balls both in terms of direction and speed, little pace in the side, everyone coming short and no-one stretching the play. Conceding such a bad early goal doesn't help. That gave Wycombe the chance to spend the last 87 mins, or 111 minutes as it turned out, to slow the game down and take an age over everything.

That said, we did create two very good chances that we should have put away.

Lacking in three or four positions at the minute, but some of those are down to injuries rather than needing more players although more pace in attacking areas is required IMO.

I actually thought beyond a short spell towards the end of the first half, Bolton offered very little and were a little ordinary.

The pace of the game caught both sides off guard early with multiple defensive errors. The lack of quality from both sides was clear.

Second half was (despite the defeat) highly entertaining with lots of quality. Our shift in formation was the catalyst. How we didn’t score was mind boggling! That should have been comfortable.

Bolton deserve credit. Incredibly clinical. First goal was excellent.

Well, that was disappointing. I can't fault the effort but we've conceded a stupid goal and we never had the quality to get back in to it. Fair play to Accrington, they didn't create much but they defended well and I'm sure they will be fine. I didn't see a foul for their goal and I had no problem with the red card - both looked like obvious bookings to me, so I'm not even complaining about the big decisions but the ref Drysdale had an absolute shocker - he missed so many obvious fouls, gave an insane decision against Mandron and should have booked 3 or 4 of their players before he finally booked 1. As I said, it wasn't even the big decisions so it probably had no impact on the result but it was bloody frustrating.

I have only got the radio to go on, but you created lots of chances and shots, but Cooper had few actual saves to make. If you were not creating opportunities you would have a big problem. I wonder if your strikers were snatching at their shots, simply because you have not scored. Maybe once they get a fortunate ricochet of someone’s backside that dribbles over the line as the goalie trips on his laces they will calm down. Sometimes that is all it takes, that first goal however it comes

Jephcott could not hit a barn door the second half of last year, now he is on fire. Confidence is a big thing for strikers.

It does help when you are playing against a team who only have 1 fit striker who is 18 and never played men’s football until this season. Having said that I thought it was a pretty good game

Well we just about deserved the 3 points, unlike other games where we have played a lot of good football, today we just had to dig deep to get the result. Certainly the Robins were slightly the better team in the first half, in the second we improved considerably but boy do we make things difficult for ourselves. Poor defending allowed the visitors to equalise late in the game and just when you thought that was it, Shaydn Morris slides home the winner. This should take a lot of pressure off the team, still need a couple more ( experienced ) signings but all Cods will enjoy the weekend a lot more

After losing several of our best players in recent months I think the aim for this season is simply to stay up.
Anything else will be a bonus.
Not panicking yet and I'm sure we'll improve.

Not sure about that. Sheehan should have put us ahead. Doyle and Lee could have had us out of sight. It was a very even game on chances, especially given your goal was a pretty clear handball.

Feel we controlled the game first half, with you looking for long balls in behind. You came and dominated the ball a bit more second half. But we scored and had some good chances. You should have equalised with your best chance late on, but it wasn't like you missed loads more.

Having had a good look at the build up right the way through to Rowe putting the ball in the net, for the life of me I can’t see the foul that was belatedly given to disallow it.

Crewe are garbage. And to be very clear, our fans are fucking arrogant twats (massive emphasis on the twats). They think our club (nonce FC) are something special, where young lads owe their lives to the club and should ignore the chance of huge wage rises to stay with us.

With the state of this squad, we'll go down by 15 points. We are absolutely shite. Worse than we were when we last got relegated under Davis.

You were on top first 15/20 mins of second half before we scored. After that we were completely comfortable and should have scored more with Doyle’s Lob and Kieran Lee before you had that chance at the end. Overall…50/50 possession, 14 shots each and 7 corners to 6 for us. A draw overall I think would have been fair. Although your goal was a clear handball and shouldn’t have stood.

I thought you were the best team we’ve played so far this season to be fair. Carved us open at times. We look vulnerable at the back because we are so hung ho but I think we look very dangerous going forward. I think you’ll be up there at the end of the season

We are a promoted side… you guys got within a couple of games of promotion to the champ last season. We should be ordinary compared to you? But it was a very even game. You did have some great chances. But so did we. I’m a bit concerned with how many good chances we have conceded in the first 4 games as we are playing so hung ho…but I’m only expecting mid table this season. So I think we are probably performing above expectations at the moment. We are going to have to tighten up defensively if we want to be pushing higher than that.

Yeah agreed. Think top half would be decent.

I think a lot of the defensive issues are caused by the high press. A couple of good passes through that buys a lot of space and leaves us exposed. But at least we're getting points while we see the issues though!

Yeah I agree… I also think we are not quite as organised without Gilks shouting at the defence too but I think Dixon is the better gk especially playing out from the back. His distribution is much better than Gilks. Also Santos still doesn’t look 100% after covid. He’s getting there but he’s definitely not 100%.

Even at Barrow…Evatts teams never started well but usually got stronger through the season. And we started last season so badly. This start is a pleasant surprise.

Those are some pretty rose tinted glasses if Bolton felt comfortable in the second half and it was a definite handball for Taylor's goal.

Well I wasn’t expecting that, not a 3-0 anyway, thought we deserved the win albeit with 3 fortuitous goals.
I really can’t fault a player today, every single one played well with 100%commitment, something we always get with bonner in charge and it’s so refreshing to see.

hoolahan will get the plaudits as he’s just class but digby, Jones, mitov, Williams and iredale(his best game for me) were also awesome, Jones seems like a very good player, impressed me a lot today.

like the way bonner mixed it up today and showed we’re not one dimensional, fingers crossed he stays the season.

Not really…. I said comfortable after we scored apart from your massive chance at the end. First 15 mins of second half you were excellent but we have only lost 3 of our last 28 matches (I think) or so going back to January and only one of those defeats was after we went ahead in the game…so once we get ahead we don’t lose very often. You were a very good team. A draw would have been fair overall and I fully expect you to be at least around the playoffs at the end of the season.

Soft, but if you keep eyes on Rowe he shoves over Robertson. Ref abit strange. When Williams takes his penalty one of your lads was stood next to the ref in penalty area. 2nd match in a row where refs/linesmen been pretty crap.

Absolute garbage being spouted by this poster, not only hand ball, but 3 yards offside, and other than your chance at the end, you created very little to trouble us, I felt comfortable as you showed nothing threatening in the final 3rd, put some sugar on those grapes.
