They're handing out these annoying clapper things at the game today. One way to kill an atmosphere.

Every time we look like we've turned a corner we go back to our normal shocking selves again, which means we'll probably lose to Sutton tomorrow.
I believe Callum Howe is doing well for you? Even made him skipper.

We have a tie-in with the charity Well Child, which is of course a most worthwhile cause. They had representatives at a recent home game, telling people about the work they do, but also handing out freebies to the kids. The free gifts were those plastic tube things that you bang together to make a noise, however these were blown up and used as weapons, cue the sight of kids trying to beat each other up. Maybe not quite the intention but the irony wasn't lost on many others at the game. Agree with you on the clappers, truly dreadful, but not quite as bad as a vuvuzela.

I heard our South African backer Clive Nates has decided to fire unused fifties into the crowd today.

We 'should' win but our reluctance to sign players in the summer, means we are still stretched personnel wise, we still haven't started the CH froim Eastleigh, so he'll be off soon, Moore the other loanee, unless he was injured, was sitting next to him on the bench last week. which may sound more alarm bells. Am wondering what our new signing from West Ham is going to be like but the U23 league from which he is used to playing in is, physically anyway miles away from the conference, and he destined for a serious period of bench sitting, even though our midfield pairing are hardly on fire. It would also be fair to say Lafayette is losing form quickly, but with injuries and suspensions will certainly be given at least one more game to cement his starting position. The only positive was the goal scoring return of Modeste last week which was great. Will tempt fate here and give us a clean sheet and a 2-0 win......but wouldn't be totally shocked if we lost 4-1!:bg:
Us score 4 twice in a season, you must be kidding!

I've heard he's ended up deeper involved than he planned, only wanted to invest 500rand, someone misheard him and all of as sudden he's pumped in half a mil!!!

He got that be default as there was no other worthwhile player playing regularly. Given the defensive turmoil we've had (3 keepers, 4 right-backs and 5 centre-halfs at a quick count, there could well be more) he's done well.

The way sterling is tanking at the moment, it's probably the same thing these days.

Dover 4-1, Ricky Miller 11 minute hattrick. Braintree must have pissed him off by scoring.

HT FGR 1-0 Guiseley
Bright start by Guiseley but FGR took control and had the best of the half. Guiseley repeatedly over hitting their through balls, need to sort that in the second half if we are to get back into this game.

Oh Maidstone... 1-0 Heed. (Johnson)
Haven't heard or seen a single Gateshead fan yet.
Pretty even game, just Heed taking their chances that's proved the difference so far. Think we'll go on to lose by a few now though.

Just as I feared when we sacked Jamie Day, out of the frying pan into the fire. We have yet to win a point since he left.
