Fully deserved leed against Crawley, we've been letting them have the ball, push out and then hitting hard with pace. Absolutely imperious stuff down the right flank from MSH and Knoyle, lots of dangerous crossing.
I don’t think you can get too excited about your performance playing a mid table national league side. It’s baffling how we have 21 points on the board

Fair result against an incredibly solid and physical Cobblers side, sadly for those in the relegation dogfight I can’t see NTFC truly being dragged into it.

And considering they’ve got an entire team of players out injured too…

Yeah think it was fair, Tzanev made two cracking saves and then we had that huge chance on the full time whistle that should have gone in.

Encouraging you think we’ll be ok, Nolan has definitely made us more solid, 2 goals conceded in 5 now and a few players getting closer to being back.

Same with us, 28 points and 7 above the dreaded dotted line, I cant believe any team are worse than we are.

Brilliant performance today. 4 goals, and could have been more. Rotherham looked really poor and very sloppy in possession.
First back to back wins since for over a year.
We have a chance, nothing more, but we now have some hope and we can finally pay football and not shithouse every game for a draw.

Much better second half. We actually bring on a defender and he defends!
Too late though.
Oh and another shocking non pen decision. But we've had our one for the season now and won't be getting another one

Always good to get one over on Peterborough. I was hoping for a good performance and we delivered. As expected, they were atrocious at the back but surprisingly offered very little going forward.

First goal crucial and we scored it. They hit the crossbar from a freekick but offered little else first half. Bayliss then scores direct from a free kick.

2nd half, their small RWB loses Jefferies and fouls him in the box for most obvious penalty. Peterborough kept pushing forward and mistake from Darikwa leads to their goal.

You think they may get a little momentum, but Hamilton scores with first touch, and then Collins scores to complete the scoring.

Peterborough fans started leaving after the 2nd and offered no vocal support expect for joining in with the chants about how poor they poor.

They are in trouble, we've now won 2 in a row so who knows!

I’ve not missed Gareth Ainsworth being out this league. Time wasting from the get go, getting away with niggly pushes whilst winning plenty of fouls from pushes against. Game plan worked and we couldn’t break them down but thankfully managed to nick it at the death

Nice watching this on twitter. Julian Darby, who is in temporary charge is Bolton born and a former ball boy (he was behind the net for the famous Frank Worthington goal in the seventies) who has played for the club years ago. Bringing his grandson on the pitch towards the end of this video celebrating like we had won the FA Cup.

New start . Don't want to speak too soon but very capable now of getting in the play offs .

Ended up watching the end of the Wycombe / Northampton game, and it was hard not to enjoy the home commentators and crowd getting wound up no end by time wasting from the visitors!

Personally I didn’t think NTFC timewasted that badly at all, certainly not as much as we did under Ainsworth.

There was a moment when one of their players conveniently went down for cramp towards the end, but he got told to get up by the ref and from the awkward way he was running, it may even have been legit cramp.

Back to our usual today, appalling and absolutely gifted Wigan a goal. Even the first to give away a free header like that is really poor.

Burton doing their annual January turnaround I see

A deserved win against Reading, we took our chances when on top and in the second half restricted them to no chances.

Good home debuts for Dilan Markanday and Azeem Abdulai, Markanday took his goal well and Abdulai was MOTM after a very good all action performance.

Reading had some chances at 1-0 in the first half, had one of those been taken it would've been a different game. Sam Smith and Lewis Wing causing us some problems, after we scored the 2nd goal they offered nothing and drifted out of the game, even after making a triple sub they never got going second half.

I try to judge every match on both sides' measures, if we win by default due to poor opposition I'll say it; today I thought we were just excellent. Obviously Crawley aren't a patch on your days under Lindsay but this result was down to every County player having a 7 or 8/10 performance rather than your lads being particulary poor. They weren't great, by any stretch, but still had moments especially pushing on in the second half.

Shrewsbury losing after their World Cup Final. No surprise there. 5 losses in a row coming up.

Nothing to do with the come down after winning the local Derby, more the fact we have the joint worst away record in the league and haven't won back to back games in 2 years! Also haven't won at Charlton since the play off game in 2018.

Posh have always had a soft underbelly but it isn't half heightened when their front three are no-where near the level of previous seasons (and how as a Club they decide to play). In the past, sides would be very wary of them, sit back a bit and not get at them but get at this Posh side and they're mistake ridden.

We scored from a set piece, direct free-kick, penalty, long throw and counter attack today.

Shame not to keep a clean sheet, terrible pass for the normally reliable Darikwa.

Fergie threw the lot of them under the bus in his post-match interview. It was half 'get your chequebook out' and half 'I've got nothing to lose, I'm not far from the sack anyway'.

Nice to see them prop up the table after winning their trophy of 'we beat Wrexham 2025' cup.

Hope they go down ala FGR.

That scoreline today does not surprise me at all, it was men against boys when we played them at their gaff, could not deal with the physicality.

yep, this is quite the rant.

Sadly I don't quite think they're bad enough to get dragged into the relegation scrap (or rather, the bottom 4 aren't consistent enough to make up the gap), but it'd be some turn of events if they did.

Watch Tranmere. Beat us in the game of their lives then almost got relegated to the Conference.

Three losses on the bounce after Mansfield did their job on us.

5 losses on the bounce after we did a job on Wigan you mean.

It don’t work in this regard because we did a job on Bolton,Rotherham and Peterborough before Stockport. Good form innit.

Bloody hell, imagine us going on a losing streak everytime we beat stockport, we’d have about 10 losses before we’ve started

Didn't think we were good yesterday, lots to work on, we do look a bit too functional with no Barry adding the X Factor.

Be surprised if Crawley don't go down. They did look poor. They did brilliant to go up. For them to lose their manager and almost literally their whole team this season, they have been up against it.
