A deserved win against Reading, we took our chances when on top and in the second half restricted them to no chances.

Good home debuts for Dilan Markanday and Azeem Abdulai, Markanday took his goal well and Abdulai was MOTM after a very good all action performance.

Reading had some chances at 1-0 in the first half, had one of those been taken it would've been a different game. Sam Smith and Lewis Wing causing us some problems, after we scored the 2nd goal they offered nothing and drifted out of the game, even after making a triple sub they never got going second half.

As you say a well deserved win. We were woeful, especially in the second half. Offered nothing and don't think we even had a shot or header goal.

Our defence is a mess at the moment and once Dorset went off early on I feared the worst. We're just nervously awaiting possible sales before the window closes and it feels like that cloud hanging over us is impacting the players and fans.

Wow!

Who's that Loft player who scored for Cambridge? What a goal he scored!!

If I was the manager of another L1 club I'd be looking at signing him this week or in the summer.

What a player to have at this level!

Not sure why Wycombe left Kone on the bench, he was clearly your best player as soon as he came on. Assume it was due to him being linked with Luton?

We are much more solid under Nolan but we still struggle to create many chances at all. Need another forward / winger through the door desperately, the team is crying out for some pace. That being said I thought McGowan's goal was wrongly disallowed.

Still a point I would have grasped with both hands prior to the game, onto Bolton!

Yeah definitely harder to beat but it’s affected us going forward big time. Personnel going forward needs a refresh.
