Maybe just a game too far after the Wycombe and Ipswich games away, just awful, when we didn't score from that brilliant opening two minutes the writing was on the wall we would lose. All credit to Crewe they stuck to their plan, had constant energy and deserved to win. Just one thing to add I've never seen the crowd at WR react to the officials at the end of a first half  it was pretty nasty.

Doncaster fans, you've more than a chance if we play like that again.

O’Brien with 3 goals already, he was garbage for us. Pleased for him tho as he was a tryer.
He's surprised everyone so far, and is rapidly turning into a cult figure down here. Three vital goals in a total of around 90 minutes playing time.

He was signed in the dying embers of the transfer window as a real last resort and only given a contract until the end of the season. Not exactly a ringing endorsement and definitely seen by the Cowleys purely as backup up front, and someone they could easily jettison at the end of the season of it didn't work out.

The Cowleys were definitely pinning their hopes on January loan Tyler Walker to bang in the goals and he's on a pretty big salary for our level. They are now in a bit of a quandary - do we leave out the invisible Walker who we begged the board to push the boat out for in January and play the afterthought who can't stop scoring? It really is a no-brainer from the fans' perspective.
