Donny at home for us. We like to give teams three points that are struggling ( as Crewe ), so this could be an early Xmas present.
However, a 4-0 win last night will give us some confidence, although we didn’t play well so it doesn’t mask the problem that we do not know our best formation yet.
This will be tight I think. Going 1-1 or a 1-0 win for us.

Unfortunately, I'm expecting a very comfortable win for Rotherham as they'll expose our lack of defenders currently with a makeshift right back. I doubt our midfield will be able to dominate as they did last night.

Not surprised Grayson and Dunn have left the club. Andy Pilley pays good money and if results are'nt up to scratch - goodbye. Be interested to see who they appoint, definitely not John Sheridan or OGS. Hopefully this will see an upturn in form round the corner

Is Pilley in prison yet?

Slightly odds-on at Gillingham seems about right. We are at opposite ends of the form table.

I would say that close to evens is a cracking bet but the big worry for us is that Raggett will be serving his one match suspension. He's been immense at centre back this season, and we have no backup. We'll go three at the back with two of them playing out of position to try and compensate.

As suspensions go though, it may have come at the right time as the Gills are struggling to say the least. 2-0 to us.

The 3 points are yours it’s just a matter of how many you win by

Another biggie for us away at Hillsborough.

Hoping there’s no “after the Lord Mayor’s show” effect after being the first this season to beat the former tabletoppers PAFC on their own turf.

SWFC are obviously a big club at this level with the resources to match - to think that Saido Berahino was a Prem darling not that long ago and he’s still only 28, plus they have former Evertonian Dennis Adeniran who was with us on loan and is quality.

As with the Plymouth game, I’d definitely take the draw in advance.

We looked absolutely shagged the last 15 minutes Tuesday night, hopefully Tracey is fit enough to start and a dose of Hoolahan in the middle will give some of the others a bit more time on the ball.

Feels like Sunderland are vulnerable, hopefully we can get at them from the get go and not let them settle into the game, get a lead and then not shit the bed in the last 6 minutes like we did the other night. We sure as hell won't keep a clean sheet but if we can restrict them to 1 I fancy our chances.

Wombles away and over the years we have had a few descent results down there ( well at least 1 ) Reserve coaches have come together till we make a new appointment so will that make any difference ? I dont know what your web sites are like but before every game the ( ex ) manager would give his interview and hey ho, there was always the 3 points to be had. Players echoing the same, the trouble is nothing changes !! We may get a draw, we may win, and the Wombles may win -take your pick

Our current form and Oxfords illness crisis all point to a comfortable repeat of our last visit there. That’s about the point where football kicks you in the nads.

Isgrove out for minimum 12 weeks.....13 players for Saturday and that includes 2 keepers

Out of those Doyle is just back from injury and can last 60 mins and Lee who cannot do 2 games a week

I’d love a win to make it 3 on the spin but a point after your last result isn’t to be sniffed at.

You’ll be glad to know Adeniran is still a few weeks away by the sounds of it, he went off injured in the Plymouth cup replay last week. Berahino may get a spell off the bench but almost certainly won’t start.

A good time to play you then by the sounds of it.

We're on a good little run and playing well so we should be confident, but our away form has generally been pretty dreadful (apart from Tuesday against a similarly depleted Gills). We have a few starters out too (Boyle, Raglan, Thomas, Blair for certain) but those who've stepped in have done quite well. Nowhere near the number of injuries you guys seem to have though.

A very good time to play us........Team that will start Tomorrow will be g/k Dixon decent div 2 player ...R/B Gordon who is our reserve l/b played first 6 games last season out of his depth went out on loan came back much improved and kicked on this season played one game at right back. Aimson ok lge 1 player Santos Quality. lb john either excellent or shite very inconsistent. Midfield Lee Mr dependable Thomason gets better the more he plays. Johnston a centre back playing in midfield Katchunga getting better each game he plays still not convinced. Doyle we all know about him Delf Simply not good enough.
Three subs 39 year old keeper/coach gilks got us up last season but is now finished. Baptiste see Gilks plus he is injured and Amaechi who is returning after a broken foot and his finding his way. Needs toughing up but will have a decent career in three four years time. 3/4 kids on the bench.

About 700-750 Wigan fans expected. We are sold out, which must mean 15,500-16,000.

Are you going to fill in the corner where the new stand meets the home end ? Looks shite on tv. With your crowds you can surely justify it.

Agreed, We hope so, but I think for its size it could be quite expensive, especially as I believe a lot of the electrical wiring goes under it.

Our game delayed until 3.15pm because of traffic problems with Accrington.

Suspect we'll make two or three changes - Jackson for Eyoma and N'Lundulu for Draper being two of those I suspect. Accy always worry me when we play them, it feels like you're as likely to lose 3-0 as you are to win 3-0 regardless of their form coming into the game.

Still no Scully or Bridcutt who've had set-backs in their returns.

Like the rest of the country, it's stinking out there!

jesus you will never have a better chance of beating us..................We really are putting round pegs into square holes and the bench will be made up of kids and players who are simply not good enough.
Doubt 8 of our first 11 will be fit and players will be playing who otherwise would be rested
9/4 Cheltenham get lumped on

I would take a draw now mate honestly. Never known anything like this. At least 5 guaranteed starters missing today. All long term injuries. And no one really left on the bench to change things. Of the team that started our first game of the season when we were arguably at our strongest we will have 3 of those starting today. Doyle Santos and Declan John (although not sure if he started the opening game). Dapo suspension is the biggest miss of the lot. Our best player by a mile. Has an off day here and there but when he’s on it he’s way too good for this level.

As Masi said this is as good a chance as anyone will have this season. Our home record hasn’t been great this season anyway and we basically as I said above have no players. I’m bricking it today anticipating a pasting from you guys

Fuck me, Liam Palmer now injured. Callum Paterson filling in at centre half. Him and Dunkley will need to protect young Brennan from being bullied today I think.

Gone with same team as i would have picked given the circumstances....Amaeichi could be anything starting his first game ever in England. We may have a mish mash team with nothing what so ever on the bench but that team will run all day. Not got a clue about the kids on the bench but if we have to put Baps or Delf on we are deep in the shit
