Two good teams who know each really well, should be a close one.

Think we’ll be back at pretty much full strength, probably other than Bostock and Brindley. Jones the clear danger man for us at the minute, playing some outrageous ball down that left flank.

The high line was the big feature of the second game last season, but we’ve calmed that down a fair bit of late. Teams who go man to man and press really high have been our issue this season, but not sure what Parky is likely to do.

Expecting a defeat along the lines of the Stockport game, footballing teams who move the ball quickly around our defence are our kryptonite. If we go a goal down I don't see us coming back. That shit only happens at home.

14 tickets left in the whole ground. Thank fuck Forest are playing Sunday otherwise Wrexham would be outnumbering us…

There is still another 2400 or so left in the Jimmy stand, isn't there? That somehow you're refusing to give to us? I can't get my head round Mansfield getting 3,800 and us 1k less. We would have shifted that as well.

We're on a record-equalling ten match winning streak...

Tranmere have lost every away game this season...

... you know what's going to happen, don't you?

Maybe the club don't want or more importantly don't need an extra 1000 Welsh visitors. It's the only reason I can think of.

2-1 Sutton. We can't score more than a goal in a game lately.

A chance to earn a potential £20k and you'd rather turn it down? Don't talk so wet.

Also, i'm as English as the next person. Don't assume every fan of Wrexham is Welsh ;)

It’ll be a police/SAG decision I would’ve thought, similar to when we give Grimsby the same number. If it was just up to Notts, Mansfield would’ve been the team we would have wanted to give as few as possible, but really I imagine the club would just want to sell as many as they can.

Probably to do with the risk of away fans in the home end being much higher against Stags, so the police want them to have as many tickets as possible. While that isn’t really there with Wrexham, so they probably want you to have the smallest number they can get away with.

Salford at home, I think we've only beat them once since we first met in the NL so they are one that we haven't got a great record against. I think it all rests on how we deal with Smith, but with Canavan, Ray and Chester we've hopefully got some physicality at the back to contest properly.

1-1.

Trust Jacob to give the boring my factually correct answer. I'm sure the club would indeed love some more money but it's still a great allocation. Unlimited numbers how many would Wrexham have brought? The extra 1000?

It could be that our mysterious and suspiciously quiet owners are too busy trying to invest in Sampdoria.

Hayden missed the last 2 with illness, O'Connell and Barnett off injured last night. Forde a doubt. Leave us with Mendy RWB. McClean LWB. Tozer will be in the middle. We'll get beat easily.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Evans at the centre of the defence and Young back in midfield, you know. Tozer was again awful yesterday. Long punts straight out of play, and could point fingers at him for the Sutton goal. Think his days are up for Wrexham, but has been superb for us until this season.

Beginning to regret getting tickets for MK - probably along with 2000+ others!

Could be an option as there will be a lot of chasing the ball from our lot. Jones and Young could be the players for this one.

I don't think we need brute centre backs in this game, we need clever ball players at the back so Evans would fit that. O'Connor is a certainty as Parkinson loves him at centre back. We just can't play Tozer in such a big game, his confidence is shot.

Parky usually springs a bit of a surprise in big games so let's see.

But Boyle has been pretty shite in my opinion and too slow to what we've faced. Does pop up with the odd goal though from set pieces.

TOC was awful yesterday and rightly hooked off the pitch. I wouldn't have him at centre half though but PP loves a left footer on the left side of defence.

Wonder when Hayden is back, as he's not been himself this season so far.

Another English Wrexham fan here. More of us than people think.

I just hope we turn up, getting dicked by Notts after last season won't be fun. That said we seem to struggle at Meadow Lane, even when we are the better team (as we were three years ago when they were struggling) we have lost.

Originally from Telford, and only connection to Wrexham was a kid. My dad said when I was naughty 'you do that again and you go and watch Wrexham'. So I did and 32 years later still support them through thin and thinner.

In an attacking sense we are mobile outfit, very tricky on the ball and have plenty of pace.

But we can be easily out muscled and seriously lack height.

If both sides play wingers at full back it should be a lot of fun.

I fancy both Mullin and McGoldrick to score.

Time for us to prove we can break down teams that come to Field Mill for a point, unless Walsall wanna have a proper go, that be nice.

was hoping Bostock would be back but sounds like Wrexham have the worst of it for injuries (they’ll all play now I’m sure).

Should be a good game, rinse and repeat of last year - all about how we defend Mullin’s runs in behind and set-pieces. Will be nice to enjoy a Notts/Wrexham game where literal promotion isn’t riding on it

They also have a couple of ex-County strikers up front.

Come on, you know how this goes
Looks like Connor Jennings will miss out, having picked up a 5th yellow of the season last night. Shame as he’s been our best player this season by some margin.
It hasn’t been a good start for Kristian Dennis at Rovers, so would be a surprise if he makes much impact.

Update;
Latest suggestion is that CJ won’t miss this, only 4 yellows in the FL, the other in the League Cup. Hendry has racked up 5 FL bookings and definitely out.

Think saturday will be a tough game, walsall games are always tight affairs and we’ve not a great recent record against them, one of those of where i think there is some beef from walsall fans over DJ when there really shouldn’t be anything.

What’s going on with him btw walsall fans?

Always a decent bunch, walsall. safe trip over,

We keep very few clean sheets, two in a row would be a first this season so I'm pretty sure you'll score.
Think a lot depends on who gets on top in midfield. If we get going and attack in waves we look pretty formidable in patches but if you win the loose balls and break up our play like Stags did to us we can look brittle under pressure.
Looks like there's going to be 15,000 or so there so it should be a cracking atmosphere.

Got to be winning at Harrogate on Saturday. We've bounced back well from both our other defeats this season and I expect us to do the same on Saturday. We're a stronger side than Harrogate but I expect Tabiner to be out and Powell will likely be out so that only leaves Joe White as our creative outlet. Conor Thomas should start though so that's an added bonus. Demetriou has been playing with a broken toe and playing with injections but I'd be tempted to rest him like we did vs Crawley and only bring him on if required. I also want us to give Aaron Rowe more of a chance as I feel his pace could really hurt Harrogate too.

Our forwards were very ineffective against Stockport but they're a much better side than Harrogate. I expect Tracey to get the space he needs and CBR will be more of a handful in this game. Going for a 3-1 win which means we can forget about Tuesday Night pretty quickly and then go into two tough home fixtures against Derby and Notts County with more confidence.
