If Wellens and the team do this properly, then we shouldn't lose the game at the very least. Wellens already stated he was annoyed we celebrated promotion with a loss and doesn't want to lift the trophy Saturday losing too, we also have a long unbeaten home record which would be nice to be kept going.

Changes were made Tuesday and I'd imagne we'll be alot closer to our best XI on Saturday with Beckles, Hunt, Pratley, El Mizouni and Hopefully Vigouroux returning.

Stockport have to win and hope from favours elsewhere so expecting them to give it a go and make it a good game.

Stockport fans should be aware that there is no central line to Leyton on the tube Saturday - So you'll have to walk or get the bus from Stratford instead.
Thanks for the heads up. Didn't know the tube was out of order tomorrow. Will need to alter travel plans.....

Need a win tomorrow to stand any chance of autos but even then it requires help from elsewhere. Also a win will pretty much guarantee a play off place which considering after 10 games we only had 8 points is a damn good result!

Rovers last away this season and the SWA attendance for a meaningless feature going to be boosted by the new ground factor, though I won’t be there. Lost the home game, where their second goal was quality, but the spirit of the Crazy Gang alive in some of the dark arts on display. Definitely the most cynical side we’ve played this season. With our depleted managerless team, would normally expect to lose, but the Dons in free fall offers some hope.

Very much looking forward to tomorrow. Sell out, should be a cracking atmosphere, hopefully a good game to boot.

Over 10,000 Cumbrians expected for tomorrow's encounter with the ex-United players' plaything. Should be a cracking atmosphere with all four sides of the ground open once more, and the segregation in the East Stand being moved to accommodate more home fans - Salford are only expected to bring around 300, so they certainly don't need the seats...

I’d take a point tomorrow. We’re not playing well, and Salford come here off back to back wins. Plus a point would probably be enough to seal a playoff place providing we don’t get stuffed off Sutton next Monday.

Play like we did at barrow and we’ll lose. Think Salford will be too good on the day.

Carlisle United 1-2 Salford City

Need a helping hand and for you to beat Salford please. I think the 7th spot is between them and us and Manfield to finish 6th

I think if there's a losing side in Carlisle v Salford, that team won't make the playoffs.

Our last home of the season and, although some don't realise, could be our last home game as a league club.

Just hoping we can pop in a few goals early doors and then coast to the final whistle while Pools get a spanking from Barrow (?).

Still bricking it.

Not yet but the Tiki Fire will be consumed in great quantities if we get a point.

If you win two games 2-0 and we lose two games 1-0 we go down and you stay up.

I gave no confidence in my club/team to get any point so I'm hoping Barrow win just in case.

At least he whines about things that actually happened.

There was minimal contact, booking maybe but definitely not a red card and none of your players even made a fuss about it when it happened, everyone just carried on apart from your manager the bellend.

Just because we're bigger and better than you there's no need to be bitter towards us. It shows how sad it is for you lot hoping we lose to Salford of all teams at this stage because you've achieved fuck all this season.

I don’t, but do find Simpson makes some pig ignorant remarks sometimes. His failure to understand why Rovers fans were so riled by Brakespear’s partisan and inconsistent decisions last season ( thank god we’ve not had that clueless clown officiating one of our games since) still rankles.

Yeah, you’ve missed the point entirely. Nobody gives a fuck about your game against Salford, but your daft old manager repeats made up Twitter rumours in interviews and thinks everyone’s obsessing about you.

And your fans’ weird obsession over Wild shows just how desperate you are to have a rivalry because no other club cares about Carlisle in the slightest.

I like how you claim we have a weird obsession with your manager directly after writing some cry baby comments about ours.

Why would any Carlisle supporter need to develop a rivalry with Barrow? The only thing that interests me about your club is how you get away with that poxy away end.

To me and probably most other Carlisle fans you're on a par with Workington, Kendal and Penrith. One of those clubs that gets a 2 minute post match summary on Radio Cumbria.

I've honestly never seen a fanbase so rattled (on social media not on here) after a good 1-0 win to keep their automatic chances alive. Have a beer and enjoy it FFS.

Harrogate at home, must win.

I’m sure we’ll find an elaborate way to fuck it up mind.

In my lifetime, our only local rivalries have been Workington, Fleetwood and Fylde - so it’s weird now having such a ‘massive’ club obsessing over us.

If that’s all we are to you, then it’s probably why you’re all so upset at having to be in the basement division with us tinpot part-timers.
