Saturday is going to see some form of tribute to Akinfenwa (who has played for both us and opponents Donny), since he’s retiring at the end of the year.

Akinfenwa is more than deserving of this kind of thing, but I’d rather see some kind of testimonial or whatever, I think it distracts slightly from the game at hand to do it during a normal match.

Oh well, we’ll see how it goes.

I ruddy love Bayo. I hope he does get a testimonial of some sort somewhere, hope we can be involved somehow as well.

FYI - Our game vs Rotherham is off, as the Millers are playing in the Pizza Cup final on Sunday. We're in the middle of our 16-day break.

A win against Shrewsbury could be massive, putting us 1 point behind Rotherham and potentially extending the gap to 4th again with Plymouth facing Oxford. Though the Shrews have been on a decent run of form and they've already beaten us this season so it could be a banana skin...

I wouldn’t worry, Lob a few bombs in the box as we can’t defend anything in the air and we don’t have a clue about scoring ourselves

The ultimate battle for mid table supremacy against Accrington, tough games against MK, Plymouth and Wednesday where we new we wouldn't get anything but with only Bolton and Portsmouth (above us) for our remaining fixtures it would be a shame for our season to fade if we fail to win against teams below us. Ben Williams out is a massive loss for us.

Last years promoted teams have done ok (obviously Morcambe excepted but that was alsmost a given).

Shrewsbury were excellent at our place and it won't be easy. In fact they looked a much better side than you at our place but as we know football doesn't work like that.

Don't get me wrong I'm not taking them lightly at all. We had a spell in September/October of dropping silly points against teams down at the bottom and the two losses in that spell that stick out are Doncaster who did the double over us and Shrewsbury.

We were forced to play your game at the Abbey though and the game plan of the first 15 minutes was simply to not concede and to silence the home fans, and we won from a surprising long throw on a narrow pitch. If we can dictate the play on our own pitch with fresh legs then I'm pretty confident.

I love Bayo despite his penalty taking antics in our L2 playoff against Plymouth. I have a photo of him with my then 15 year old son who idolised him. Good luck to Bayo in whatever he decides to do next.

Lets see what Mark Bowen can do. Not convinced that he can turn things around by Saturday. I'd take a point.

The fact you have a bloke in for the game is a big plus for yourselves rather than an undercooked caretaker.

Oxford United at home will again be a tough game especially now we've got Ryan Hardie out injured for 3 weeks.

Only Bramall who went off injured is out tomorrow and even Bridcutt could play!
Still expecting Mr Stockley to run riot against us, he normally does!

Ipswich away in the mid-table East Anglian "Derby". Ipswich fans seem to think we've created this so called derby and it's our cup final game.

Sold out away end in which should be a good away day. Are there any pubs for away fans or the city center drinking off limits as I've been told?

I'm not expecting much from our trip to Crewe. Apparently same team as the one against Donny 2 weeks ago which means we are still without a number of 'senior' players. 13 games without a win, a draw wont be a disaster but a loss a major blow

It used to be the drum and monkey(proper dump) but whether that’s still their or not I don’t know, it’s been quite a few years since I’ve been.

Usually get dumped in pub opposite station or if you're lucky they open the nightclub abit further down the road for you.

Not a fan of either but given its usually a dry away end there for us you take what ya can.

Some of our fans on Twitter are weird, it’s definitely not a derby just a good local away day which is rare. 25-26,000 expected tomorrow. Mad crowds for 9th in this league. You’ll have the station hotel opposite the station, be prepared to break the bank for anything in there mind you
