Still can't believe I got roped into driving to Palace, it's a sell out all round and we're taking 4,700 down, people are still busting their nut for tickets, obviously have no expectations other than a cracking atmosphere, just hope we have a good go of it and don't come home too embarrassed.
Well my mate offered to drive, picking me up at 5am,so I will kick my shoes off & relax.

Are you for real pal?
Listen to your Gaffas post match interview and read between the lines.

We switched our play when going down to 10 men.
If not for the sending off we would have went on to win the game, ovs.

Your "big players " were only allowed to play as we controled the game.
We even controled the game when down to 10 men.
While I agree you were the better team for the first half and defended well for the second half, the likes of Brown and Jay were well below par in their own performances. In fact, Jevani had by far his worst game for us. Had they been their usual 7 or 8/10 we’d have won that game.

Rare to say like but Palace are a class act. Funding coaches of fans down to London and now they've donated to Gemma Lee.

That's the manager's missus and she has terminal cancer. She lives on a drug costing 5 grand a month. They have to fundraise all the time.

Massive respect to them. If they donate all the gate receipts to fund a summer signing SPREE I might even start to like them.

Fair point, When you played at our place you were one of the better sides
We had met, and still are.
And i was expecting more from your performance, At your place.

I would say over half the games we have lost away so far, would should have had
A least a point.
I know thats easy to say, But think its valid.

PS: Seems yous have a decent, honest manager as well.
Good luck for the rest of the season.

Really good to see that from Palace, fair play to them.

Good luck to Hartlepool tomorrow, obviously massive underdogs but the pressure is off and never know could catch them by surprise.

Shocking conditions for a game at ours come 3pm, rain and 50mph gusts.

I wouldn't have thought so at this stage unless the wind becomes a risk.
pretty standard weather... if we were facing a soft southern team they definitely wouldn't fancy it today.... but we're not it's Tranmere - so who knows what will happen....

Away to Harrogate, early ko, managed to get tickets in the home end. Expecting nothing from this one, only hope is an away game it doesn’t have the toxicity of Tuesday and we play with a bit less pressure.

Less assured at home, and rolling on from slightly stuttering form since the covid brake, another point would be a good result today. Need Cadden back, we're not the same without him. But the lads will dig very deep for sure.

Should be a right ding dong, with the league's top three scorers all on the same pitch. We seldom play a different way, although a bit more defensive, it should be a great flowing game for the neutral. Could be a big crowd by our standards.

I think the difference between the top five sides is very little, and a readjustment is in progress for us. Just remains to be seen how we react if a few results to against us. All in the melting pot.

Elliott AND Cook up top. Christ.

And in typical fashion there's no wingers to cross the ball to them and our fullbacks couldn't cross a road either.

It’s been raining at Rochdale this morning, so there is a pitch inspection at 1:15pm.

I don't know if it's cause they have no fans on this forum but Harrogate are very quietly in terrible form and sliding down the table after a good start to the season.

Will probably beat Bradford now i've said that

Salford v Vale postponed. Have all the money but it’s still a tinpot club. Feel for the huge following that’s just rocked up there.

That is piss poor from them to leave it to when everyone has arrived. Not surprising from such a tinpot club like them though.

Really could do without further fixture backlog too.

From a footballing point we will play them likely with key players back and don’t know how much the efforts Tuesday took out of us, but that’s poor from them. Feel for the fans, im
Stuck in with covid but been there with the late call offs at Exeter and Accrington in the past!

Turned up against us though, as they have done every against the stags.

Yeah by the time this fixture is played we'll no doubt have Proctor and maybe Conlon and Gibbo so maybe they'll come to regret this. Little consideration for the supporters though. Spend all the money in the world on players from the Championship etc but have a sixth tier infrastructure.

Halftime and 0-0. We improved in the last ten minutes with Walker having a couple of decent chances. Harrogate really poor. A decent side would have a pretty comfortable lead against these lot. We're normally worse in the second half so probably lose this.

Feel bad now… apparently Babs (of class of 92 fame) has given food away to Vale fans that were at the stadium.
