Dreadful second half by us. Could have had it wrapped up if the referee had some balls and proceeded to give the two stone wallers.. think he had the game on his both teams to score bet

Cambridge looked better second half, but I’m not sure how much was them and how much was us not showing up.

Ryan Barnett ran riot today, pound for pound he is up there with any signing we've made since the takeover.

Absolutely brilliant deserved victory against Blackpool, missing all those players, our best defender and captain, our best midfielder, even our star striker yet we defended superbly while also creating the better chances.

We did not play like we usually do trying to keep the ball a lot, which is understandable due to having about 10 players out but our work rate was superb, in fact it’s that alone that won it us today. We will outwork anyone in this division.

5 wins on the trot.

Funny how quickly things can change in football. After an abysmal performance midweek against Bristol Rovers, we put in our best performance of the season today.

Every single player was fantastic today. Frustrating the standard has been so poor from the same players and manager in the last few games.

Birmingham will win the league based on the sheer quality of their players, but they can be beaten. Outfought and tactically outclassed by us today. They couldn’t deal with our press (which we’ve stopped doing for some reason in the last few games) and gifted us two great chances which we didn’t take. I don’t think Birmingham had an attacking opportunity of note, Stansfield, May etc barely touched the ball. Good finish by Godden earned a deserved and quite comfortable win in the end.

Much better 2nd half. Barnett stand out! Shame Mullin couldn't get a goal with the header late on too get him going.

Oh and tactically Clough got it spot on, may not be a Cloughball performance today but it was a tactical masterclass.

They never laid a glove on us cj might as well stay at home if this is the quality we have to fear bring it on

Clough proving himself at this level, fair play it's been a great start.

Already proven at this level with Burton to be fair, I was always happy we were going in to L1 with a manager who’s done well at the level with less resources than he’s got now.

He brought on a centre back who’s been out for 14 months and played him as a striker, classic Clough.

Quite a straightforward win that.

Northampton the worst team we’ve played this season, no offence to their fans on here.

Though other mansfield fans have been on here, i’ve got give praise to mansfield today, what a bloody performance, missing the main defender and captain, missing george maris (main midfielder) and no lee gregory (league 1 top scorer) we all thought we were doomed,

Not so, what a bloody performance, those lads would die to the manager and the badge, blackpool had no answer to our unrelenting pressure, closing down and refusal to back down, what a pleasure that was.

Towards the end blackpool gave up 2nd half as they had no way round us.

for the first time since 1976 mansfield have won 5 game on the bounce in the 3rd division and have 20 points from 9 games - absolutely extraordinary.

We know we won’t last, and if we make the top half it’s a great effort, but what a moment to be a stags fan right now.

Another 3 points on the board.

An absolute bore fest first half. Orient having all the possession, but apart from a long range shot hitting the bar, did nothing to test our defence.

2nd half we started much better. A great move down the right and Makama scores a header. We then had two other attempts quite close afterwards that we should have done better (Makama running from halfway line, beating the Orient defence for pace before slotting wide).

A great move from Ring through to Draper and had a great view of the finish past the keeper.

Felt that was it, but fair play to Orient who had a cracking finish within a couple of minutes and made us sweat a little in added time. Great save from Wickens to deny an equaliser.

Not the best of performances but a wins a win and 8900 home fans is ridiculous number considering no ticket promotions etc

The two Academy lads getting the goals for us this afternoon.

A game of two halves really, Orient far better in the first half although their only real chance was a well worked short corner routine that hit the bar. It kinda went pass, pass, pass, Orient fail to deliver a final ball, our defence have no options so we try and clip it into midfield or into the channels but manage to put it between two of our players and Orient regain possession. We were far too passive, stood off them more than we normally would, we looked a bit leggy really.

Second half Skubala changed things and went four at the back, pushing an extra man up and playing a little higher up the pitch and that stopped Orient from playing out. Two well worked goals, the second in particular started in our left back position. Very sloppy to concede, it's rare we get caught out like that but we'd usually have three back there rather than two. An unnecessarily nervy final ten minutes but we dealt with any long balls fairly well. Should have been three really, Makama missed a one-on-one and lifted the ball wide.

Orient as you expect really under Wellens - tidy in possession, lively, on the cusp of doing something but the move either breaks down or they refuse a shot/cross...it must be infuriating.

I see Evatt got sent off at FT for pushing his head into an opposition player.

Why won't it last top half great but if you accept mediocrity thats what you will get bugger it were more than capable in this division

Nah mate of course you should aim as high as possible, and we carry on - if by some luck or it carries on we keep on trucking.

If things catch up with us, which they will in my view, we’ve set ourselves a brilliant start to consolidate in the league and see what the deal is long term

Standard from us again, generally play well enough but with nothing in the final third in the first half.

Get punished early in the second, fail to adapt to Lincoln’s changes, lucky to stay in the game and finally find a goal in a rare attack second half. Late rally at the end, but Lincoln worthy winners based on the second half.

Losing Sean Clare at half time and Ethan Galbraith in the warm up proved too much in the end.

Quite happy we don’t play for 2 weeks now, our lack of attacking signings is now firmly biting us in the arse. Gonna be a long way until January, at this rate it’s gonna be a struggle for us.

Having watching the highlights, conceding the exact same goal four times in a game is comical. Whether or not we were playing a winger at fullback, the whole back 5 needs to take stock of themselves a bit.
