So any talk of ‘bottling it’ I have ignored, not even remotely considered until the 7th minute today against Crawley.

Crawley get a somewhat fortunate goal, nevertheless it had to be put in the net and we didn’t deal with it, it happens, barely two minutes later in the 7th Crawley pass the ball to DKD in the box without the goalkeeper in front of his goal and he shoots it straight over the bar, at that precise moment I decided we will probably bottle the season.

Funny thing is by half time it was Mansfield that had the better opportunities, we had one shot going in by Clarke but blocked by our own player, Akins had a tap in but decided to try and flick it in, Swan with a few chances spoiled too.

Second half is just a disaster so far and clinical Crawley made two chances and took them both very well. I don’t think we can cope without Brunt and Cargill.
