Bradford 1-1 Gills in a game that will be forgotten an hour after full-time.
Nearly right, but not a massive shock that we didn't score. Sounds like a dreadful game. Normally I'd be keeping an eye on the game but didn't bother checking the score til half-time, and only just checked the full-time score now. I don't mind not being good enough at times, but we've just totally given up.

That wasn't an easy 3-0 win. Rode our luck and Ashby Hammond the keeper as MOTM.
Played with more confidence and the passes were suddenly crisp with a two goal cushion but dear oh dear, our defence and midfield with Bostock is just a liability.

Be a shame to turn your back on years of tradition just yet.

Honestly it’s like the clock changes and we’re fucked, we needed to be top 3 that year we had covid, we’d have been sorted then

The pitch will be a right pudding on tuesday against your lot, and the home fans will be out hoping for a home win.

You score early and frustrate and the home crowd will turn on them

Comfortable win in the end, both teams should’ve scored in the first half before we eventually did and a couple of two handed push in the back penalty shouts were ignored but expected a lot more from Gills.
Mansfield lol.

Delighted for Halliday: Netting a goal on his 100th appearance for the club. Hope he signs a new contract.

Agree with LS. Thought we were fairly comfy in the end. Getting rid of Lewis and bringing in Walker has been absolutely sensational. Enjoying Pointon playing again.

I thought he was the best thing since sliced bread earlier in the season!

Is he one of those that needs someone to do all his running next to him?

Just seen Lindsey's after match interview. He doesn't think we retained the ball very well, especially in the first half. He said we can play much better than that.

He did say you can't complain when you win away 1-4.

Today again proved me right in that it would be a tough game but also in that anyone who commits to anything when there’s no need to is a fool.

Crawley were a pretty decent side, but i’ve seen a mansfield side blow away a side like that with out eyes shut this season, yet we produced the most shambolic performance i’ve seen in years.

The full on mansfield collapse were all used to is full flow.

If you say tricky game almost every week you will be guaranteed to be proved right when you don't win.

Well done you :brill:

Don't fear it's the YOTS and you will get that top 3 position. You really don't want to do the playoffs, as the history books show.

Newport’s Jephcott gave one of the most comical performances I have seen from a pro footballer in many a year today.

Appreciate we can all have a bad day at the office but he looked like he had won a raffle to play. He did extremely well to last 57 mins before getting hooked

Toys out of the pram. They were dirty and every single card was deserved. Mind you, Robinson hates us anyway.

He does need hard running younger players around him which to me means he's not good enough. He didn't have a bad game but I strongly doubt he'll be in L2 next season.

Lindsey seems to be keeping his head while others are fading, great job he's doing.

Horrible club from top to bottom. Sooner they're out of the ELF the better.

Yep, dirty shithouses against us as anybody who watched Salford against us on SKY the other week.

That Matt Smith is one huge fucking dope, don't care how many goals he scores. A proper anti-football galoot.

Surely Neville, Giggs, Butt don't enjoy this.

I enjoy trips to Mansfield, but until today not the results.
Main difference seemed to be we finished our chances - especially first half - and they didn't.I
Our 4th from Lolos was fantastic.
Looking forward to my first trip to Wrexham now.

Tranmere looked on the beach today dominated them second half we need a result tuesday night the form crawley are in.
I wasn't at the game today, so going on what others have seen, the match commentary and brief highlights footage.

It sounded like an even first half, then Walsall wanting it more rather that Rovers throwing in the towel. Maybe the wind was a factor in your second and third goals, while there was a great save from your keeper from Hendry and we hit the woodwork again late on. It didn't sound like Adkins made the best call for subs, Tom Davies had to play carrying an injury as we'd run out of central defensive cover while 5 first team regulars were missing. Can't quibble with the result, think you may have too much left to do for a play-off slot

would not argue with that i think we will just miss out and finish 8th or 9th which is a lot better and progress some of our fans still dont like sadler though he has been backed well by the yanks and some fans think we should be doing better with the squad we have not so sure myself i picked us to finish 10th.

10 players out injured yesterday, so a point away from home is probably a good point. But we really need a win or 2 just to take the pressure off as the gap between ourselves and 8th is getting smaller by the week.

While I dislike Salford intensely and have no regret they lost yesterday, with their usual thuggish approach, think the referee ought to have ordered a re-take of that free-kick at the end as the Wimbledon player moves before the ball is touched.

We got exactly what we deserved. A total lack of composure in front of goal has cost us yet again. Plenty of chances but none in the net. It has been a problem all season. Had Thompson scored the penalty, it might have been different.

Meadow Lane is a tidy ground and I look forward to returning next season.
