I hope us and Charlton are both in this division next season so that I can enjoy that London away day again. I wouldn't want to live in London (too hectic and too many other people for me) but I really enjoy going for a few beers centrally and then a really easy journey to Charltons old school ground, right in the heart of the community. Had a decent kebab at Charlton kebab House too!

I suspect we need as many points as we can get, so we could do with 3 points tomorrow. Charlton will surely buy enough and have enough to get out of any potential bother this season, so their current points need is perhaps not as desperate. We're literally down to youth teamers now, so I'm not holding out much hope!

Everyone through that about MK Dons in fairness! But if they get JCH for example you'd think they'd be fine.

2PM will be interesting... the fate of our season and chances tomorrow probably rely on Ben Garrity and Alfie Devine being on the team sheet, lose them we end up with centre halves in midfield and youth players, not to mention Garrity going under the radar as top scoring midfielder in L1 (11 in all comps is it now?)

Personally, with all the BIG MONEY being pumped into Carlisle, I feel like it's time for them to start dominating this tinpot league like the sleeping colossus they are. It all starts tomorrow.

Honestly, we are absolutely dreadful at the moment. You have every chance of winning.

You have Blackett Taylor and Alfie May though....always a chance to outscore us.
Dangerous players although think May is 50/50 if fit.

Interesting since Wilson has been back we’ve scored 7 and conceded 0 with him on the pitch in those same games when he’s been off the pitch it’s 0-6!

I’ll say one thing. If Exeter can’t win today, they might as well sack their manager.

A home game, against the worst team in the league, a team that are absolutely dreadful on the road. You couldn’t hand pick an easier game.

 What have I said there that’s over the top?

Are we the worst team in the league? Yes
Are we dreadful on the road? Yes
Is this Exeter’s easiest home game on paper? Yes
Should they sack their manager if they can’t beat us? Probably, they might not but I wouldn’t say it’s over the top to suggest they should.

Errr if we were bottom of the league then we'd be THE worst team yes, but no we're not bottom are we? So stop talking shite.

Give over. We’ve been the worst team all season, have won the least amount of games, haven’t beaten any teams around us, have been gradually getting worse as the season’s progressed. Even before we hit rock bottom it was glaringly obvious that we’re by far the worst. So many opposition fans have said we’re the worst they’ve played. There’s a message there.

And Carver you of all people can’t judge anything on league position when the two worst teams in your view are currently sitting in 7th and 9th place.

Can only shudder about what that means we are then after getting outplayed by Carlisle last time out.

Garrity out is a massive blow but on the flip side Debrah and Devine are fit, Debrah looked a bad one Monday! And Sang is back available and can play midfield so at least not having to resort to starting youth players.

Assume Sang is in midfield rather than right back unless Grant is moved there and Sang LWB.

It’s not ideal but better XI than expected. Devine has been superb since moving into the Arblaster role and finally coming into his own.

Fleetwood worst currently, think Exeter are worse in form maybe! Carlisle looked decent against us last Monday despite our failings and injuries considering that same XI took Blackpool apart days before.

Garner was good at holding the ball up you just lacked a decent striker or goalscorer, time will tell if Armstrong is the answer to that.

We’ll see where we are in a few weeks. I believe our spell off the bottom will only be temporary. We have the likes of Oxford, Portsmouth, Barnsley over the coming weeks.

If we don’t win today things will look extremely dire. Let’s hope we can upset the odds today.

Charlton aren't good, in fact they're fairly average but they'll stroll to victory today.

Typical lower league war of attrition at the Pirelli, long on midfield scrapathons and head tennis but woefully short on quality or clear-cut chances.

I think we've shaded it but a draw probably fair so far.

Kamwa the best player for BAFC to this point.

Half time 0-0

Exeter clearly have the better players and are dominating the ball. But we’re playing the plucky little underdog role ok so far and have actually had the best chance of the game through Emmanuel but unfortunately as per he forgot where his feet were.

I do expect the extra quality to show in the end and Exeter to eventually break through, but we’ll see.

Pompey by far the best side we've played for quite some time, excellent passing and movement, distributing the ball quickly and making us work. That said, they haven't created many clear chances so hopefully we can keep it that way. Thought they should've had a stonewall penalty on first viewing but having seen the replay I think Pett gets a toe on the ball, fine margins though.

Fairly even game here but we are up against some poor officials, the linesman doesn’t seem to understand the offside rule and the referee has let Charlton get away with a few yellow cards, luckily the other linesman saw the handball everyone else in the ground saw as the referee didn’t seem to be set to give it and he missed what looked an identical one ten minutes earlier.

We’ve not been great and the risk backfired with Debrah who’s gone off. Could go either way. Need to see how on earth we didn’t score from a yard out mind!

We’ve been the better side, but we can’t finish our dinner, and don’t expect that to change until we bring in some strikers. You’d hope that hopefully we’ll put one away, but this is Exeter..

It’s all set up for a Carlisle 1-0 win. Probably from Lavelle who’s been bullied this afternoon so far by 3ft 9, Sonny Cox.

A very ordinary half of football from two very ordinary teams. We are a shambles defensively and to be honest Charlton look as vulnerable. Level probably a fair reflection.

Stunned looking at the stats we have had 12 shots to 2… doesn’t feel that way if im honest. Probably all in the last 10 minutes of the half.

Cue the Port Vale 80+ minute winner to continue our tradition of torrid away results and late goals conceded
