Nice relegation six-pointer between Cambridge and Shrews though I know who I’d back, and it’s not Cambridge.

We have a tough game against Reading, another of those local games you really can’t call a derby despite the proximity of the sides - Reading probably still consider us to be beneath them (in terms of history) despite their current basket case status, whereas to us they’re just a bit dull as a club.

Teams are working us out more, pressing our wingers and cutting out our attacking routes, so it remains to be seen if Reading will play to suppress us (sensible) or come and have a go (riskier).

Think it will be tough at Stockport, though at least we have had an extra day's rest.
Be interesting to see if we still have a patched up side, some tired legs on Tuesday and definitely missing some players.
Hope for a draw but expect a defeat.

I'm not there for this one.

Tuesday couldn't have gone much worse - going to be without the spine of our team basically in Jackson, Erhahon and House, plus Darikwa who's been player of the season so far this campaign.

We've been falling on the wrong side of results over the last 5 games or so compared to falling on the right side of them earlier in the season and we're not actually playing badly in all honesty.

That said, we do need to tighten up in box boxes, especially in defence because we've fallen behind in 11 league games so far this season and it's killing us. Some of that is down to lack of defensive numbers, chopping and changing and generally being an unsettled backline but we've been a bit sloppy at times as well.

Wigan (A) the second instalment of our theoretically-favourable run of fixtures. Great start to them on Tuesday with a tonking of an excretable Bristol Rovers side. Shameful performance from the Gas, but we looked a little more like our old selves with plenty of good pressing and creative, incisive passing. With Cambridge, Burton, Shrews, Rovers again and Creepy all on the immediate horizon, I’d happily take a draw here. We haven’t won at Wigan since Groove Is In The Heart was in the charts so to hope for anything more would be blindly optimistic.

Forgetting the big Monday Night Football fixture

Northampton v Peterborough

The nene derby takes on a different tone now after Brady walks. Not sure what to expect.

Still livid about the last defeat to even contemplate the next one.

Thanks - can’t seem to edit the title but at least added it to the fixture list.

Bit of a bummer that we are in the toughest period of the season without our best player, just haven’t been able to sort out our front line out without Gregory.

It will be a competitive game like they all are, but if Huddersfield don’t find a way to beat us we’ll do it ourselves I’m sure.

Was more comfortable about this game before all our Goalkeepers got injured.

We should win, but you can't underestimate anyone in this league and our away form is mediocre at best. Someone will win 1-0, hopefully us.

I see Reading’s Selles has fucked off to Hull, which means a bunch of RFC players playing out of their skins on Saturday for all those prospective replacement gaffers in the stands. Bah.

Suspect it will be a bit blowy at Blackpool

Many before you this season have got excited after beating us, only to come down to earth with a bump the very next game. Wigan being one of them

Has Cloughie won a game in the league since he rebranded as "Nigel"?

Fancy us to bounce back against the Shrews, but it’s going to be a horror show of a game in 60 mph winds. One where both keepers need to stay on their respective lines and not go walk about. They will be weakened by Pierre and Benning being suspended and we for once have no new injuries, just the 8-9 existing ones, so things look peachy. Will the Ainsworth factor kick in for this game or like us has he too few resources to make any real difference?

Oh, no real excitement here, but we’ll be picking up regular points with similar performances which will be enough to keep our heads above water. Have to say that I was actively upset for you guys on Tuesday; I think that was possibly the worst away performance I’ve ever seen at Brisbane Road in all my years of watching (32). An absolute disgrace tactically, individually and collectively & a complete insult to your supporters.

The best we can expect is a point against Wrexham. Whether we get it is another matter.
We are absolutely shite away. Didn't even realise we have only managed to score 6 so far. 2 wins in 8. Not holding out for much, and we can't do a Posh and think we win by turning up.

Looking forward to 3pm Saturday when we can add Lincoln to the list of teams to call us the worst team they've played all season.

We are so one dimensional and bad at that one dimension. Rob Elliot set up perfectly to completely nullify us so I expect a manager like Skubala to do the same.

Fans are turning against Jones and I can't see anything other than another loss and another dire display. I think he's lost the plot a bit already, we are diabolical atm.

Yes tbf Huddersfield was our best display in the league since Birmingham. We do tend to do a bit better against better teams because Jones sets us up to play like the underdog and press the ball. When we have the ball we have no idea what to do with it but if we can press the opposition high up and win the ball then we can create a chance. Unfortunately, this style of play is just completely ineffective against most teams in this league.

We have that EVERY game. Every opposition who sees us say we're the worst team ever in the history of the game. What makes it even more funny, we tend to beat teams when we are at home and still get 'we're the worst team' even though they lost!

You are by no means pretty but nothing can top Burton this season. They may be the worst League One side I've ever seen

Exactly, the football isn't pretty but its effective. Worst sides by definition is someone like Shrewsbury as they are holding everyone up.

Well, I guess we'll have that honour by the end of tomorrow.

And I'm not going to dispute it either.

Yep, it was the worst performance many of us have ever seen, and we got beat 2-0 by Braintree in 2014. Im still fuming, hope the players felt even half of the rage that left me in.

Football is a shambles in the wind too. These fucking storms always seem to be on a Saturday. It's almost a year to the weekend where we played that farcical game at Morecambe. Like playing football with an Air Flow/Flyaway. I'm glad it's at ours not Exeter, we're a little more protected here.

Ainsworth doesn't have the quality in the squad. What he can do is get them to give more effort. I saw more in the first half hour against Blackpool than anything under Hurst.

The problem with Pierre being out is that Nsiala will have to start. Any pressure on him and he'll give you a chance.

Weather will be a leveller, hoping for a win, expecting a draw or narrow loss. January can't come quickly enough
