Got a bit of a nightmare journey for this one thanks to the strikes, spending the weekend in Cambridge to visit some old friends.

Hopefully a win away will put us in good stead with not too many games on this weekend

Firstly safe journey and hope you enjoy what’s on offer in our beautiful city.

As for the game, we’ve been pretty shit for a long time and your season seems to have kick started when we played you, thought you boys looked awful that day but got the result, we’ve been on the decline ever since, hoping for game reversal tomorrow.

No new signings imminent, not to start Saturday anyway, but hoping Williams comes back into the side after illness.

Yeah you guys looked a lot better than your current position suggests, ISTR Ironside causing us a few problems especially in the air.
Our defence is still littered with individual errors but going forward we take some stopping. Im sure Willo will want to play against us, started off well for us but was part of the Garner/Tisdale creation and soon turned to shit

Will be interesting to see who’s defence is worse then as ours has been awful for some time.

Looking forward to seeing Collins for you lot, should have a field day if he’s as good as his form suggests.

Ironside is our very own TANK! Who’s not having the best of seasons so far to be honest, smith for me starts all day long although he does tend to be too selfish for my liking, in a nutshell we struggle to create chances.

Charlton away.

Jackson is suspended but Walsh is back so that doesn't really change anything at the back.

Virtue is out for 10 weeks or so with a torn hamstring, which is a nightmare because he's been brilliant since he joined and a midfield two of Sanders and Sorenson for any length of time is enough to give anyone nightmares. There's Ted Bishop but he's not really a '6' so wouldn't be as effective.

That aside, I think we're pretty much as you were in terms of injuries.

Think we've picked up the least amount of points in L1 over the last 5 games, albeit 3 of those were draws. Need to start finding a way of turning some of our draws (joint most in the league) into wins.

Big game for both sides, Morecambe 6 unbeaten at home and will fancy another win. Similarly it's one we should be targeting especially with the following 3 games being against Derby, Plymouth and Wednesday.

Freestone and Raglan suspended means Tom Bradbury will likely start at LCB, not sure if he's played at all yet this season.

Will go for a 1-1 draw but wouldn't be surprised if Morecambe nick it.

A Plymouth win at Bolton would be a huge step towards promotion for me even at this stage.

Bradbury's played 1 minute, plus injury time against Sheffield Weds. He's also played in the EFL Cup (the 7-0 to Exeter) and some Pizza Cup games.

It's his big opportunity with Freestone out for up to 3 months. Though I have heard a forward and defender are set to be signed on Monday.

I'm with you on the 1-1 draw as well, though I'd like to see us at least attack Morecambe unlike when we played Burton and FGR.

Never underestimate the annual Argyle ‘Blow Up’ and it’s ability to surprise and delight.

It almost feels a must win for us today to have any chance of autos (which is slim at best anyway). Our home record is pretty good but you just never know which Bolton will turn up. If we play with intensity and fight for everything we have a good chance of 3 points but too often in the last 18 months we’ve been nervous in these types of games and gone into our shells.

Hopefully a huge result at Barnsley away is the turning point for that but we played against 10 men for 80 mins so it’s hard to judge anything performance wise. We started well … possibly the best we’ve started any game this season opening 10 mins and they couldn’t cope but who knows if it had been 11v11 for 90. Today will be a much better marker of where we are at. Plymouth have us, Ipswich and Wednesday away in the next 3/4 weeks… if they get through that relatively unscathed (4-6 points) they are going to be very difficult to catch.

I think most away commentators are pretty biased but I do remember Morecambe last season being particularly bad

We looked really good first half. Not loads of chances but sustained pressure and possession. Plymouth have offered nothing which means they can only improve. Also didnt realise Randell Williams had a huge long throw. Just chucked one beyond the penalty spot. That’ll be a weapon second half of the season.

We’ve just missed an unbelievable opportunity. Great save from Cooper. We’ll probably lose this now because we’ve done this a lot this season.

Aimson just cleared one off the line. Thought Plymouth had nicked it at the end then (they still might)! This is looking like another missed opportunity for us. Should be winning. Plymouth are incredibly well organised.

In the end I don’t know how we haven’t won that. That is a better point for them than us. Once again showing we need a proper goalscorer. Created 2/3 unbelievable opportunities there that we should be scoring. Plymouth had a set piece and we had to clear one off the line but other than that didn’t do a lot.

Don’t know what’s happened to our pitch … probably the rugby a few months ago then the weather but it’s dying. We’ve gone from our groundsman/pitch being voted amongst best in the EFL to a shocker. It’s not helping us at all.

Frustrating result but the defending for their 2nd was diabolical, only ourselves to blame. We're just desperately lacking up front. Bolton are welcome to Nlundulu who was a waste of space again, maybe he'll put in some effort for them but he certainly hasn't for us in the last couple of months.

And despite the result I'm more frustrated than anything at the pathetic attempt at commentary from Radio Lancashire (or whoever it was). I can accept some bias but it wasn't even remotely accurate, I feel for anyone listening without the benefit of the video to show what was actually happening.
