Only a smattering of games tomorrow but a huge one over in sunny Doncaster. A game neither side can afford to lose, expect a massive response from the home side after squandering a 3 goal lead at Morecambe last week. Fleetwood still have 10 players out, we just have to get on with it and tbh a draw wont be a bad result

Toughie for us, home to Oxford.

Bridcutt is a doubt again - surprise, surprise. No Hopper or Walsh who are long term. Jackson should be back after concussion. I don't think enough time has past for all the Covid issues to have cleared up. Scully is attracting Championship interest, he'd probably be our biggest January sale if we were to let him leave, so would it be wise to play him if we plan on doing so? And would he want to risk playing having not long been back from injury himself?

Whittaker in this week, but we lost two, albeit one was the third 'keeper. We'll be down to the bare bones again in any event.

We're at home to Burton.

Given all the changes up front, I really have no idea how we're going to get on.

We've basically recalled everyone who was out on loan for the game tomorrow as COVID has hit. God knows what team we'll play. Bit of a gamble considering we can surely just get the game postponed.

Was going to go tomorrow - but, £26 in advance or £28 on the day. Wow. Are you taking the piss? How much is it for home fans ?

The same prices. You're not allowed to charge more for away fans.

It should be pointed out that I've not spoken to a single Cheltenham fan who agrees with the pricing.

I am sure you do not. It must affect your attendances, and also the away support too. But, I am sure the club has calculated the extra revenue is worth having even with a lower crowd.

It probably doesn’t which is why they will feel justified in charging it.

We’ve sold 1300 for next Saturday.

I mean they’re not alone, I’ve just paid £25 for Crewe next week.

Away attendances haven't been effected at all. The whole point was to get as much out of the likes of Sunderland, Sheff Weds, Ipswich, etc, and to hell with the rest of us.

It's the exact sort of short term thinking that pisses our fans off so much.

From the EFL Rules on the website:

34.3.8 No Club shall charge higher admission prices for visiting supporters for accommodation that is ranked as comparable with or inferior to that used by supporters of the Home Club in the same or next highest ranked accommodation. For the purposes of this Regulation, accommodation shall be allocated a ranking as indicated by the table below (where 1 represents the best available and 6 the lowest) having regard to the following criteria

Let’s be honest. You won’t get rich out of our travelling support at a fiver or £28.
We will struggle to take 300 tomorrow.
like you say, it is lucrative for the full houses of the league 1 aristocrats..

The sun will shine and we will come out firing on all cylinders putting 5 past Fleetwood causing the few in the away end and thousands on IPTV to go for a cuppa. Queue the second half, we will have had another 3 (minimum) injuries putting on local pre school children in their place who will cripple under the enormous pressure of defending a five goal lead and lose 6-5.

Accrington for us. Not much between the teams league and points wise so like everyone else, it's a case of who is covid/fit/injured/buggering off to some other club or whatever. I'll take a point.

Ipswich for us in what will be our first home game for six weeks, I expect a pummelling, but sometimes we get a blood and thunder draw against the odds so who knows.

We snuck in a Pizza Cup game last night away to Exeter. Two injury-time goals by Curtis to flip the result. Try as we might, we can't get out of this competition.

With having to recall these players due to covid and no real mention of who is out for us i have a feeling this will be even tougher away to Wycombe. Weathers shite and we were horrific down pompey in bad weather. I’d be happy with a draw today, personally i think Wycombe will be their usual selves and we won’t match them for shithousing.

OK with that result, SAFC had the better chances so we’ll take the draw - though we clearly weren’t playing for it (taking a CB off for a striker near the end).

SAFC will be bitching about the Vokes goal but their first goal also looked like a clear shove on our CB, so…

We're all over Burton, should be 2 or 3 up really. N'Lundulu looks class so far, not sure what version of him that Lincoln got but he's completely dominating.

Two points dropped for us. Second half fairly even but should've been out of sight. Referee pathetic.

Well you were'nt far off with your prediction, one goal in it. Followed the game ( as best one can ) on BBC text and Fleetwood seemed to be the better team ? Long way to go and we've got the league leaders at home next week so that will be a toughie

We can field two strikers and, look, we score goals!

First league clean sheet of the season? Rather ironic that it's come at a time when we have only one available CB and he went off injured in the first half! Our defence at the end of the game was CM, RB, RB, LB!

Downside of the day is losing Montsma after his knee 'popped', which doesn't sound a two week job does it? Bridcutt sounds long term as well, so we're right on the edge of having 14 players available - I think we're down to 15 now.

You were by far the better team even though you created little not that it takes much to beat us

How we haven't beat Burton today I'll never know. They were truly dreadful. First half we should have been 3 or 4 up and that really isn't an exaggeration.

The second half, they were more in our face and they got the goal that pressure deserved, but in the last 10 mins or so they really were hanging on. 100% two points dropped for us today.

Also, whilst I have a lot of empathy for the 5 Burton fans who didn't get into the ground today due to one having cerebral palsey and therefore appearing pissed when he isn't, having a go at people outside of the ground who don't even support Cheltenham, and Cheltenham fans trying to enjoy an after-match pint not having any idea about what had gone on, is not the best way to garner some support for your issue. I'm not a fan of being called an embarrassment personally.

I 100% agree. Disgusting, and I remember them doing it to a Cheltenham fan a few years back. He complained and got an apology and something else in return.

What he didn't do was accost people in a pub and have a go at them when they weren't even Cheltenham fans.
