I am quite happy to write this season off if it means we can get rid of Maynard. A genuinely terrible manager.

0-0 at halftime between us and Gillingham. Hard to get going as you'd expect against Coleman's style of play. Alexander needs to get a proper striker on for Leigh. Absolutely staggering how he keeps playing Leigh. He just doesn't fit into how we play. And he's fucking useless. Need to be winning this. Gillingham are poor.

0-0 at halftime. Game kicked off and the next event of note was the whistle to end the half.

Need to start testing Gillingham's 57 year old goalie.

1-0 Gillingham. Very poor result if it stays the same.

Missing too many players today, but starting Leigh is criminal. He's never a striker.

As mentioned - missing too many players!

I don’t dislike Leigh, but one thing for certain, he isn’t a striker.

When you’ve got 2 strikers on the bench and none in the starting XI, you deserve to come away with nothing.

GA got this one wrong.

Fleetwood scored on the break about 20 seconds after we looked like we were about to go 1-0 up. This game beyond that has been an act of football terrorism.

Walsall, Notts, Donny, Vale and Crewe dropping points - not the worst day to lose, eh.

Level through a penalty from Tolaj. Don’t think Bobby Madley got the memo about the conspiracy :)

Lost to Gillingham. I feel very deflated after that. Can't win 'em all but it's a poor way to end our great run of form - a scruffy set piece. We've been playing some good stuff recently, so going to a big, niggly side and reverting to hoofball is absolutely baffling. Leigh should never play as a striker again. Bringing off Khela for Byrne was a dismal sub. I know the lads will be knackered after playing so many games, so can't be too harsh. Absolutely have to beat Tranmere next week.

Full time 1-1. Neither team deserved to win that so draw is fair in that context.

1 win in 15 vs 1 loss in 15, should’ve seen it coming, Alexander manager of the month too as per tradition losing your next game.
Only watched after the goal but we were awful, couldn’t put two passes together, no shots, Gills just time wasted (no criticism) and killed the game easily.
Other results not too bad, could’ve been worse, we were certainly due a bad performance and no shocks it came away from home. First week off now in forever with two home games to bounce back with. Also Tommy Leigh FML.

We'd stand a better chance at getting something from a game like that if we don't start Leigh and then shove Baldwin into central midfield. A pre-Christmas type of wank lineup and tactics from Alexander today.

Just back home from Walsall. The ‘Locker’ is a useful addition to the pre match plans.
After giving away an early goal, Grimsby didn’t look back, looked far the more impressive side. On another day would have won by a larger margin. Walsall resorted to just lumping the ball forward together with long throws. They certainly didn’t look like a promotion team on that showing.
We look like we will take our interest into the last few weeks of the season at least. All Town fans would have taken that at the start of the season

Jayden Luker, on loan from Luton. He's hit and miss. Had a shocker midweek vs Tranmere but young and inexperienced so to be expected.

Feel for you lot, absolutely stinkin' form. Didn't seem like you'd get back into it today once we were ahead either, which is doubly frustrating. We were obviously killing time for most of the second half but we also fought harder and were full value for the three points.

Well and truly shaken the curse of not being able to get points from losing positions now.

Lovely balls from Danny Rose and Kieran Green to set up Luker for the third too.

The ball in the last min from Hume was excellent too, shame Barrington couldn't finish it

A nice 2-0 win against Notts County. One of our resident bloggers - and journalist for national newspapers to boot - put it much better than I ever could.

Bradford losing to Gills what a league.

We were piss poor. Wimbledon better than us and the best atmosphere in this league by an absolute mile.

Maynard won’t get us up while he’s got a hole in his arse.

This game had a score draw written all over it. Around the 80th minute everybody in the ground thought Vale had scored, then in the blink of an eye Fleetwood were ahead. While a draw was a fair result, yet again Fleetwood conceding in the last minutes of a game. It is unbelievable how many points we have dropped with the failure to see out a game. Still we have the makings of a decent team, wish Vale well in their quest to get back to league 1. For the record it's a lot nicer in league 2 !!

A poor quality match between two teams more interested in not losing rather than trying to win. Carlisle will feel unlucky not to take a point away. It must feel like a kick in the teeth to concede an OG in the 95th minute. A massive 3 points for us in the relegation dog fight.

We've taken 6 points at home this season from two games where we haven't scored a goal.

Would've been a travesty if either side won that game, bud. A fair result for an absolutely dreadful game devoid of quality.
