Looking at Morecambes recent results I have absolutely no clue how this is going to go. I thought we were OK in our recent away games (if you ignore how bad we were in the final third) and probably should have picked up a couple more points. Hopefully the thumping of Accrington has given us a bit more confidence back in front of goal.

This is approaching must win territory now if we want to try and salvage something from this season. Maybe a bit of a break will have allowed something of a reset. Avoiding going 1-0 down inside the first 15 minutes AGAIN would be a help.

Definitely must win if we are considering disturbing the playoff picture. Shame we didn't play them after their big win over MK as that was a true let down spot for AFC after the lord's mayor show.

I'm annoyed with myself for not picking up on the obvious trend of Notts conceding early with my bets!!! Better late than never.....

No excuses for this game, can't afford to lose.

Having upped our game against MK at the weekend we fell back to earth yesterday against Grimsby. Unless JJ changes his tactics or Omar Bugiel returns this could be a win for Notts County.

After what was the worst performance of the season against MK it’s really important we bounce back Saturday.

Top of my head does not feel like we particularly do well against Swindon home or away.

Home bankers for Mansfield, Stockport and MK Dons. Crewe with an away banker. No point even checking those games throughout the course of the afternoon.

Even Barrow and Walsall with bankers too beyond that.

While we go to in-form, red hot Morecambe with a point to prove after we demolished them at home. Be delighted to still be top 3 after this game.

We usually beat you at the CG after you dominate the games. Think we’ve done OK at yours recently. Hope you realise my earlier post was tongue in cheek!

Just checked. Since 2006 we’ve played each other 12 times. Mansfield 3 wins, Swindon 7 wins.

We do, though, seem to have the evil eye over Clough.

Swindon won 5-2 at mansfield, though we returned the favour with a 4-1 win at the CG.

The thing is for stags fans is that we’ve seen it all before, so well until it matters then turn into a pumpkin and fuck it up.

I do genuinely believe this side is different and has the ability to stick it out, especially with games we’ve won where we haven’t before and always getting a win straight after a loss.

Whereas swindon fans will understandably disappointed with a poor season for their standards, a side with austin and that gypo in midfield are going to cause problems.

If mansfield can produce their best football not one side in this division can cope with it - it’s just whether enough of that football is produced between now and the end of the season to get over the line.

He can’t play a full 90 minutes after his heart surgery. We have a couple of young diamonds in Glatzel and McGurk who’ll be huge for us next season. Elbouzedi is a fucking whippet. Austin is past it now.

I really hope you're right if only for Maynard who is burning up what little goodwill he had to start with.
